Only So Many Hours in the Day ♍ Semi-Open
Acti♀n; Moving Day (Open to Existing CR)
October is a busy month for Porrim. From part-time clothing boutique clerk to Deputy Guardian of a different city. From a mid-sized apartment to her own two-bedroom house. And with all that moving, she would certain appreciate anyone that would offer to give her a hand. She's got a lot of unusual furniture and a rather eclectic assortment of sculptures and art installations.
There was also her 'play room' which was *mostly* packed, but then some of the items just didn't fit neatly into boxes - like the large wooden suspension frame that would need to be taken apart before it could be moved out.
When everything was done, she'd be treating everyone to lunch at the Bright Sky Diner in Genessia.
Vide♀; Closed to Dracula
I don't suppose you'd make this easy on everyone and turn yourself in, would you?
[ Porrim didn't for a moment believe that the killer was actually Dracula; the shady figure that Ted Satchel seemed to believe to be the cause of every malady known to man besides perhaps Gum Disease was probably a little smarter than to leave his name on a note. If anything, it seemed like someone was trying to frame him. ]
Acti♀n; Exsanguinated (Closed to Ted)
Porrim poked her head into Ted's office. She gave everything a quick once over to make sure Ted wasn't busy pranking a scared newcomer again before getting on with her business.
"I'm heading out for the morgue. Try not to provoke too many panic attacks while I'm gone."

[He's also looking more than a little annoyed.]

I'm talking about this-
[ She uploads a string of photographs to Dracula - crime scene photos of the last murder and a closeup of the note. ]

[He takes a moment to go through the photos.]
"Vlad Dracul"? This is clearly an impostor. I haven't ventured outside of my castle for around a month.

What would I stand to gain from making such idiotic displays? If I wanted t strike fear into the hearts of the populace, I could simply unleash the denizens of my castle. If I wished for notoriety, my recent bid for the seat of Guardian made me a household name. So what reason would I have to start doing this now after nearly a year of not causing such an uproar?
no subject
[ She finds it interesting that he freely admits that his castle is full of dangerous monsters. ]
Do you have any idea who would want to pretend to be you?
no subject
In short, no I do not know, however, I am very curious as to who it is. If you are doing this for any bounty, I will gladly pay you double to deliver him to me that I might mete out a proper punishment.
[Namely, impalement.]

[ She was rather positive that Ted would fire her on the spot if she did that though. Not that it was something she was likely to do in the first place. ]
Action
In the spirit of moving Levy also brought Porrim a special book as a moving present. It wasn't with trolls, she was still looking for that, but it was a love-hate story and their might be vampires or other things in it. The truth was she hasn't read it herself yet.
"Porrim?" She poked her head into the woman's apartment looking for her and any way to assist.
no subject
"Hi Levy!" She came to the door and greeted Levy warmly, holding her arms out for a hug.
no subject
"This is for you. Not exactly what you were looking for but to hold you over until I find the right thing." Her smiled widened. "You're going to have to tell me how it is."
Because she hadn't read it.

She leads Levy into the living room. There are some large boxes scattered around and a few pieces of furniture. "I've captchalogued most of the big pieces of furniture and that's filled up my sylladex already, so just grab what you can carry and we'll drop it off at the house and come back for a second run."
no subject
"Lead the way."
She really had no idea where she was going.
no subject
"You're just gonna... carry it? The one box? All the way to Everglade?"
Why wasn't she captchaloguing it?
no subject
"Is there another way? I figured we'd rent a cart." Then fill the cart and move it that way. Of course she didn't really know all that much about Porrim's world. Things weren't so easy where Levy was from which was why her own moving had been tedious.
She owned a lot of books.

"I can see if I can find one. I think I saw one of the shops using one on the way here and it wouldn't be to hard to return." Without another word she slips from the room to fetch a cart. She hoped it was big enough for the last few boxes so that they'd only have to take one trip but she didn't mind the work.
After about twenty minute's Levy returned with a cart and a smile. "Got it!"
no subject
She started to help load the cart up with the remaining boxes.
no subject
"What do you usually do?" It'd be interesting to know if she could do that also, at least with all the book she usually attempted to cart around with her.
With everything loaded Levy begins to guide the cart forward and towards Porrim's new home.

It was really impossible to get into anything about where Porrim came from without it becoming a THING, because really there was so many levels of hoofbeast droppings stacked on top of one another.

He was listening half-interestedly while a constable gave his reports. "That's one good thing to come of it, at least. Thank you, officer. Good to know Team Rocket seems well and truly gone. For the moment, anyway. Say hello to your wife for me, won't you?"
"Yes sir." He went out, nodding at Porrim along the way.
Ted had wanted to get that bounty himself. He kept tabs on that pretty regularly, mostly for purposes of finding talent. He didn't know whether to be impressed or worried at Porrim beating him to the punch. But then, if anyone was close to a panic attack, it was him. Even he could see something was really fishy.
"Oh, but that's what I'm best at. Guess I'll have to apply my talents elsewhere." All right, mandatory joke done.
"Porrim, you're not the only one that worries, you know. Do you think you can handle this by yourself? I'd be more than happy to go along. Oh, and don't worry. I'm fairly certain it's an imposter, though why anyone would look to Dracula as a role model is more than I can fathom."
no subject
"Don't worry, I'm sure that Ted Satchel picks arch nemeses of a much higher caliber than what this degenerate is displaying."
