First throwdown

[Sousuke couldn't believe how bad his luck was to have ended up in a strange world with all these jumpy and cheerful personalities. Gou was someone he liked and wanted to stick together with, but having Hazuki around made his skin crawl with displease. He was the more hyperactive version of Momotarou and it took Sousuke so much time to get use to him at first.

Well, then there was Ryugazaki, who wasn't as cheerful, but he had a feeling things would still progress slowly with getting to know him, too.

As the group wasn't progressing anywhere, Sousuke decided to take matters into his own hands and use the device that they all had been given to ask for some directions in this new place (guess who guys totally ignored the existence of a hologram).]

There's a group of four looking for a roof on top of their heads, at least for until we figure out what to do. [The thought of having to live with Hazuki crosses his mind...] Two separate places would be more appreciated, actually.

[In the background a young blond haired boy appears to be waving frantically for a moment as if trying to get someone's attention. When that wasn't working he moved his hands and cupped them over his mouth.]

Sou-chan! Sou-chan! You have to come see this!

[It wasn't obvious as to what he was talking back as he goes back to waving frantically again before looking over to his left, his arm slowly lowering down as his focused appeared to be somewhere else.]

Gou-chan, Rei-chan come look. It's got a person talking to us. They are tiny.

[Well that answered the question as to what the blonde was doing right now. Although he still looks happy about the discovery.]

It's "Kou", not "Gou"!

[Suddenly a female voice chimed in with a hint of irritation before a slight flash of red hair went by to see what the blonde was talking about.]

What are you talking about, Nagisa-kun?

Over there! [Another male voice and another long extended point over to the hologram. ] This place might be technology advanced for something like that. We should be careful just in case.

Everyone we should see what they may have to say! Nagisa-kun, try to not get too excited. We still don't know much about this place. [ If he's in the frame, viewers will see him adjusting him red framed glasses. ]

[After all the business in the background is over, Sousuke sighs and looks at the camera once again.]

Two places to stay for four people, please.

(OOC: When replying, please specify who of the four you want to comment with; if you don't, it'll most likely be Sousuke since he's posting this, but it could be anyone else, too.)

[Nagisa had knelt down slightly to investigate more closely as it appeared to be speaking, explaining what was going on and that there was a map on the magazine rack and explaining other things like needing to work and finding a place. When she had finished speaking Nagisa jumped right up he quickly went over to grab a copy of the map for them all.]

So... the strange woman called herself Weiss and says they don't know a way home... So that means... [He pauses for a little bit map in hand and the other free hand lightly under his chin as he thinks.]

We're stuck here. So should we do what Wei-chan says on this advanced piece of machinery? Sou-chan, Gou-chan and Rei-chan, your thoughts?

Why does this sort of thing happen to us....?

[For some reason, Gou isn't as surprised as she should be... Letting out a small sigh.]

Well, there's nothing else we can do if they don't know a way back home. We should try to find a place to stay at least.

[Rei has watched many many science films and television shows to know that this situation can be normal in those. It ever happening to them was very low on the possibility scale. That possibility happened at a good time for him. He didn't have to say good bye to anyone here just yet.

His summer could continue on, even though it felt as if fall would be nearing.]

A situation like this wouldn't have happened normally to us or to anyone back at home. It's unique and the place that we ended up doesn't seem bad. Finding shelter is a good idea if we are going to be here for a long while. [He wouldn't mind being with his friends... even new friends. The scenery looked beautiful so far and that only made the smile plastered on his face grow even more.]

What do you think, Sousuke-kun?

[Sousuke puts the device back to his pocket before looking at the others.]

I just sent a message through these devices, asking for places to stay in.

[Nagisa nodded slightly, he had been listening and now he had opened the map to show the place. It was pretty big.]

Smart move, Sou-chan~ Hopefully the people will be nice enough to give us answers... Though do you think we should have asked about places that sell food as well?

[He may or may not be hungry.]

I'm sure someone will be able to help us.

[But now that he's mentioning food, her stomach seems to growl in agreement.]

We can explore the area there has to be place with food. If there is a chance to ask someone on the devices take up the opportunity. The more information we find out the better we can adjust to our new hopefully temporary home.

[His own stomach makes a rumble too.] We need to budget what we get too.

[Urge to say something about the Sou-chan nickname is rising, but Sousuke keeps it in. Unlike his own stomach growling as well. Blame it on the others for mentioning food.]

Let's check if we all got the same amount and start from there.

[He takes the red bills out of his pocket to count them.]

[Nagisa was already in his pockets, taking the envelope he had when he woke up and opened it revealing his red bills.] I have some like... Um... [He takes them out and starts to count them, it takes him at least a minute before he speaks up again.]

At least 100... but I'm still counting.

[Gou had already started to count her bills once Sousuke mentioned it.]

It looks like we have the same amount. This will help for a while, but we're going to have to think about jobs here.

[As soon as Rei had finished counting his last bill he knew what they had together. Roughly in the two thousand and more dollars combined. That was the tricky part in all of this. If they weren't together they would have had to fend for themselves with the amount in their hands. They would still need to figure out a place to stay too and cost. The obvious cheap way would be the four of them together, but that would need to be discussed.]

If we put our money together, it's a lot but we still need to figure out rooming. We don't know what everything costs and how long money actually lasts here. Even if it seems cheap we should still be careful. If we didn't end up here together we would only have the money in our hands.

It might be best to give the money as a whole to one person to hold on to.

Right.

[At least Rei seems as proper and wise as Sousuke had imagined him to be.]

Then why don't you take care of it?

[Nagisa with the bills still firmly in his grasp bounces on over towards Rei, a wide grin on his face before he held out his own portion, Sousuke was right he was probably the best bet for making sure the money is safe and spent in the best way possible. It would not be wise for himself to have it.]

Rei-chan~ You probably are the best bet hen it comes to looking after the money. So here, take mine before I spend it on something.

Yes... Please take his money away... [Or else he'll be spending it on sweets... holding out her own portion to Rei as well.] But before then... can we at least go eat something...?

[This is amusing to watch but Levy can't help but want to lend a hand.]

If you are looking for a place to stay there should be inn's nearby. They do have separate rooms and you should all have woken up with some money.

[She'll help how she can but it seems chaotic.]

That would be nice to start out at at least, but eventually we'll need to find a more permanent place though.

If you get a job you can afford an apartment.

[She suggests employment first.]

I plan to find something at least.

Sure! I know it pretty well, though that's because my bookshop is in Fayren and the office I work at is in Everglade and then my home is in Genessia.

Nove city I go to less often but I do know my way around.

Oh wow. You're all over the place.

[She laughs nervously.]

Yeah, I walk around a lot.

[It's a good portion of her day but at least she stays in shape.]

It's healthy at the very least. [And she's all about staying healthy.]

I try. I admit I sometimes don't get enough sleep.

[She works a lot but she tries to eat regularly.]

[Nagisa just wants to use his own device... even though he is probably standing right next to the others. He still seems unusually happy for being in a strange place.]

You mean those red bill? Those are the money, right?

[Levy can't help but smile.]

Yup, that's the currency here. You should have enough for a few months.

Really?! [She looks down at something for a moment, it was probably the money he had in that envelope thing when he arrived.]

It didn't look like that. But then again it's a whole new thing for me.

[Not money, but the kind of money it was. It isn't long before he's looking at the device again.]

Can I ask what your name is? So I know what to call you? After all you are being helpful.

[Her smile widens.]

I'm Levy, it's nice to meet you.

[She really doesn't mind answering questions and it gives her a short break from her work.]

Ah, Levy-chan, or maybe I should go for Lev-chan.

[Yes, this is something he needs to think about for a moment or two. Soon he'll suddenly move off the subject and onto other things.]

So... what do you know about this place? or maybe I should ask another question... Like what kind of jobs are there around here?

[She can't help but laugh at his enthusiasm. It's very contagious and she doesn't really mind the nicknames.]

I only know a little, as for jobs... I think it's the same as any place. I opened a bookstore myself. There are jobs at local businesses and all sorts of things.

[Levy pauses for a moment.]

I guess it depends, what do you like to do?

[He paused for a moment, thinking about all his options, but he couldn't really say for certain that he could even work here, so first of all he knew he had to ask another question.]

So... does one have to go to school before they can work here, or do we simply have to go straight to work?

[Giving a small chuckle, he gives a wink.]

As for what I like to do, I like to eat sweets, especially some special bread that was only made at home and I also like swimming.

[Despite the fact that Levy is the age of someone who'd be in highschool she grew up in a world where that isn't a mandatory thing. Though she loves books and reading, that sort of strict structure doesn't seem like fun. Even so she smiles and tries to think of a good answer to his question.]

I believe there are schools here but they're for younger kids and depending where you want to work will depend on what you might need to know.

[She smiles.]

For example: if you want to be a baker of sweets, you should really know how to bake.

[He nods slightly. He is paying attention at least.]

I think I know that already, that's why it's hard to think about what to do when I thought I had another year to know for certain.

[He has no skills since he hasn't learn anything like that.]

I guess I could do store work or something. What do you do Levy-chan~?

I own a bookstore and work there. I also help out in the Guardian's office in Everglade.

[It keeps her very busy.]

It sounds like you do a lot of work, Levy-chan!

[He looks impressed for a moment.]

I don't think I could do all that... Though where is Everglade. I know the hologram mentioned it but... I haven't been there.

Well you should have a map. The gates are on there. [It's easier than trying to figure out which way he's facing and which way each gate is.] My book store is actually in Fayren.

I commute a lot.

[Considering her house is in Genessia.]

I did get the map from the entrance actually, though I guess I should look at it again.

But wow, you pretty much go everywhere don't you?

I do.

[She laughs softly.]

All the places are a little different. It's really amazing to see.

[He looks impressed for a brief moment before he closed his mouth and finally spoke.]

I'll be looking forward to seeing them myself~ And also for seeing you in actual person and not over this.

[Levy smiles.]

I think I look the same, just bigger.

[Which makes perfect sense.]

But still, sometimes it's nice to see people face to face.

[But that could just be him anyway.]

[Levy smiles, he really is earnest and it’s endearing.]

We’ll I’m at my shop now. It’s usually the best place to catch me but why not text me to give me a heads up and I can let you know where I am.

[She’s a little excited to meet him in person as well.]

[He was glad he was already making friends here. It was enough to make him smile.]

Hopefully it will be soon, once we find a place and settle and all that.

Sounds like a plan.

[She smiles and pauses.]
