This isn't home.

This isn't California, Saeng Seong, or even Eternisa. This is a place he's never seen before - one he doesn't quite know what to make of. At first, he'd been sure he was dreaming. Now, though? As he's staring up at the sky and letting it sink in? The harsh realization is sinking in.

When it comes down to it, Luke is familiar with the concept of waking in strange places, surrounded by unfamiliar things. Still, this one is very unlike the worlds he's been on, up to this point. It isn't trying to kill him, but there isn't a touch requirement. The ache in his throat - he tries to will it away. He should be used to this kind of thing by now, but "should be" and "is" are two completely different things.

Frankly, nothing can get him used to the pain of losing friends. Of starting over. And this is exactly what he's left dealing with, in waking in this world. After closing his eyes and taking a moment to evenly exhale, he has to fight to swallow; his throat feels incredibly dry. Funny, considering how damp his palms are...

In spite of how he has to work to steady himself, he does manage to do it. He's not weak - he's human. Everyone has their moments, right? After scrubbing his hands through his hair, he begins walking. He won't stop for a while, considering he's taking the time to properly explore. With his guard up, he will turn his head to look at just about anyone.

He's very glad this world is so very kind enough as to give him his weapon, so he's not quite as on edge as he could be.

Hikari found herself unable to go to the Bay as often as she would like now, but today she found herself being able to. With each step she wondered closer and closer toward the Bay in the hopes that maybe someone she knew would be around or maybe even a new arrival.

As she turned the corner and the Bay was right in front of her she could see someone simply standing right outside of it. "Hello, mister. I assume you are new?"

With each step one might feel like they are being watched and the fact of the matter is, he probably was. In the distance a woman appeared to be staring. Not moving, not speaking but simply staring at him, head slowly tilting to the side. Was there a reason she was doing that? Who knows, but that was all she was going to do right now.

Nagisa found himself back by the Bay, looking in to see if anyone else had turned up only to see someone else there instead. Well it wasn't anyone he knew, but why not talk to him? It won't end badly hopefully as he walked on over with a smile.

"Hello~ Are you having a nice little walk to?"

Aqua often stopped by the bay as well as took time to wander around town. It had been a few months but she was getting used to the layout and trying to find a job that suited her. They would run out of funds soon and she didn't want it to cause to much trouble. She had first spotted Luke coming from the bay area but she had been heading away from him so she hadn't thought to call out and say hello.

It wasn't until passing him again on the street that her lips broke out into a wide smile. "Twice in one day. Must be fate." She's kidding though he hardly knew that.

"I'm sorry, I saw you coming from the bay earlier." She didn't know if he had spotted her. "I'm Aqua, I'm new here myself."
