[ The video starts and Yui looks like she had been about to speak, but couldn't hold in a yawn. This is followed by an embarrassed look. ]

Sorry.. I thought the Dream Docks were only supposed to last a week, it seems like I was in there for a really long time. I feel like I've been sleeping forever. I hope everyone is doing alright.

[ Now that she's got her yawning under control, Yui holds up a plate of taiyaki ]

I'm cooking tonight at the K&H House. Anyone who's willing to behave themselves in an age-appropriate setting is welcome to come. It'll be all Japanese food, I hope no one minds.

How could you leave Loki-san like that?!

[There are tears in his eyes because of Loki's (imagined?) plight. It takes him a few moments to realize what Yui asked and calm down enough to talk.]

Of course, your senpai has been up to trouble, as usual. I can't help but get a thrill from exposing myself to the more dangerous aspects of this world!

More importantly, how did your visit to the Dream Docks go?

It was so that I could get my memories back. I didn't think it would take so long...

[ She sounds a little indignant. Loki's like thousands of years old, this long probably is nothing to him anyway.. Besides, the memories she experienced... a good portion of them were her being alone and depressed to the point of not being able to enjoy her normal life activities because she missed all of the gods so much. ]

It isn't like I was gone having fun... [ The last part is quiet and muttered, but she isn't going to bring it up beyond that. No sense in talking about something in the past, especially if it would just make Mikoshiba worry. ]

What kind of trouble? You look like you're okay, so it can't be that big of a deal.

Ah, um.. Well, most of what happened wasn't very good, but we got through it and like Loki-san said, at the end they were able to find me again in the human world.

[Yui's reply is enough to make him stop worrying over his OTP out of concern for his friend.]

Are you all right, Kusanagi-san?

The only reason I look okay is because your senpai is a professional. I can't let stupid things like trouble catch me off guard.

It could have gone on an entirely more tragic path. I know they all found you again, but was there anyone in particular you were excited to see when you met them again?

[ That's what matters. She knows they'll be back for her, she has Loki and Anubis here.. she'll be OK. ]

[ You're a student, Mikoshiba. You shouldn't be professional at anything, that's weird.. ]

I was especially happy to see Balder-san and Loki-san, but I was just happy to know that everyone was alive and well and that they came to find me.

At...anything that involves trouble! [He can only make so much up before he buries his face in his hands from embarrassment.] You're the one who brought it up. You should play along.

I see now...so there was some rivalry between Loki-san and Balder-san, and in order to save them from some tragic outcome, which might have ended well for you, you got everyone instead.

I know. It makes everyone worry when I am, so I try not to be.

[ She tries so hard, she really does. ]

Eh? There wasn't rivalry, it was.. [ What's a good way to phrase it so that she's not telling Loki's business to Mikoshiba but she's not letting him keep something like that. ] Something happened and the God of Destruction nearly destroyed the fabric of the universe... Loki-san took it upon himself to stop it and we almost lost Balder during it, but I managed to get what was necessary to Loki-san and Balder-san in time, but.. the Garden was already falling apart, so everyone used their powers to send me home without them after hasty goodbyes. I had no way of knowing if they even managed to get out... so when I saw everyone again, I was happy they were all okay.

[ She's not going to mention that the "something" that "happened" was Balder going all yandere on her, followed by being unable to control his powers. That way Yui's not telling Mikoshiba all of Loki's business.. ]

...Don't take this the wrong way or anything, but you have a lot of friends who care about you. You're always doing nice stuff for everyone else...so, ah-- I'd...I'd be happy to know you have someone you can open up to.

[He grumbles the last part, blushing and staring at the floor rather than the video. Yui's a good friend to him, so he cares about her wellbeing, despite his own fantasies over her getting the perfect harem ending. He'd be thrilled if she opened up to Loki, if not him.

He already knows most of the story thanks to Loki, but he wanted to hear her version just in case. He tries not to look too disappointed by the vagueness. He was hoping for some breakthrough in her feelings for one (or all) of the gods. Instead, he narrows his eyes in determination.]

It was probably hard for them to say goodbye like that. You should definitely make it up to them when you see them again! Maybe you could have some kind of party or something.

Well, I'm not sad anymore so don't worry! I know everything is going to be okay now but.. thank you.

[ She smiles, very earnestly. The fact that he's willing to be a confidant to her is more than enough to make her grateful. The last person she had to do that with was Melissa, and being here for months without someone like that.. Well, she'd have to consider it. ]

Mikoshiba-senpai... [ She pauses for a moment, then makes a decision. They are damn well going to deepen their friendship. ] Can I call you "Mikoto-senpai?" [ Still senpai because she knows he likes that. The party thing she'll worry about that later- once she's back home and she has to figure out, well.. what to do with them. Since they don't have a home and they're probably going to have to go to school or if they don't they're probably going to follow her to school and then dealing with normal human school is nothing like dealing with school about humans...]

Well, a party maybe later.. I mean, I'm not home right now and once I am.. I don't know if they came up with a place to stay. I live at a shrine with my parents and brothers, there's no way they'd get away with staying there without being questioned.. then I don't think they'd stay put while I'm at school, and the school in Zeus-san's Garden isn't anything like normal human school, try as it might.. For one thing they've never had to deal with a math exam. They'd probably get bored just hiding out somewhere.. [ You asked for her to open up, Mikorin.. ]

[It must be a relief for her. He smiles easily, since he's not pretending at this point. Of course he's blushing bright crimson and stumbling over the significance of her next words, but he still manages to be sincere if not quiet.]

S--...sure. I mean if I can call you Yui-san. [That wall is fascinating. He wishes he could see how the gods would react to a normal human school.]

Yeah...they might stand out too much at our kind of school. [Then again, most of his friends aren't really normal...at all.] Hiding out would take more work too. Loki-san might do okay. [Because as flashy he is, he always seems adaptable, and like a good actor. That could work in his favor.] But the others will probably require stories and stuff. They'll probably do something stupid, and anything to explain why would help them adjust more.

You can call me Yui-san, of course! Just Yui is fine too, or anything really as long as it's not offensive...

[ That's what everyone else does anyway. Yui, Kusanagi, Kutanagi, Yousei-san, Koneko-chan, Kusanagi Yui, Weed.. So many names to keep up with.. :'D; ]

Loki-san would probably get in a lot of trouble with the teachers.. [ Thoth might be grumpy, but real teachers are much more strict. ] Though they'd probably all be really popular..

Don't worry, Yui-san! I only use offensive names on idiots who deserve them. Like Nozaki...

[He smiles calmly, like he's making a point or something.]

I doubt he'd listen though... [He'd probably just do whatever he wanted and ignore them.] Probably. You're going to have a lot of rivals now, so you might as well start preparing. Do you want me to pretend to be your rival?

[ She's pretty sure they live together at least.. unless Mikorin moved in with Mayu and they're an in-house couple living with Mayu's family!!! Did she just stumble on something weird? ..Nah, that's a little too weird, it's probably a coincidence. Maybe it's like how Loki likes to play jokes when he actually likes someone instead of giving them the cold shoulder or intentionally playing mean jokes constantly.. all of which Yui has been subject to, so she's well aware of the different options... He can't really see Nozaki and Mikoto having the same kind of relationship as herself and Loki though.. she's not really sure why, but it doesn't feel right to make the comparison.

He is my friend, but he also follows me and tries to get me to wear embarrassing things... [Like sailor skirt uniforms.] So sometimes I have to kick him and tell him what an idiot he's being. He's really reliable and cool when he's not thinking about manga, though.

Why would I have rivals? [ She can defend herself anyway, she trained with the god of the ocean for a while.. ]

Because you know the gods better, and no one else will probably be able to relate to them as well. If they all look anything like Loki-san, you'll probably make some enemies.

Maybe he thinks of her in a different way than a friend, so he'd feel uncomfortable asking her? [ She's joking. She has no idea, really. ]

Well, none of them really look like Loki-san. Most of them have shorter to medium hair, they're all pretty varied.. he's the only one with red hair too, then they look different in their god forms as well. Loki-san is definitely the only one with horns... They'll be able to relate with other humans though, or I haven't done my job very well..

He'd be too dense to realize it. [He smiles, but it's strained by dealing with Nozaki's obliviousness. Poor Sakura]

I meant if they...look like they stepped out of a manga like Loki-san. You did your job well! Loki-san hasn't actually set anyone on fire yet that I'm aware of.

Why would Loki-san set anyone on fire..?? Even when he first met me or when he finally realized I was human after a couple of months, he only teased me a little..

Even Thoth-sama wouldn't do that. Though Zeus-san might if he didn't get his way, but I would trust everyone else not to..

What's the K&H House?

Kusanagi and Haller Home for Children. It's a somewhat embarrassing name, but Haller-san insisted on it.. We don't think that children should be forced to work beyond basic chores, so when Haller-san hosted the Nova City Carnival, he used the money to fund a house where we could help support minors in Genessia. We take care of food, cleaning, and make sure that everyone with us has what they need to live here.

Ah, yes the children's home. There might be a new one that just showed up.

Child, that is. Not another home.

I'd be happy if another home showed up, too. That just means there are more people trying to help.. but if another child showed up, I hope they can find their way here. We're always open to helping out.

One of them. I can't stay all the time since I have to keep a job to be able to take care of myself since I wouldn't want to be a burden on Haller-san since I'm not a child, but I stay as often as I can.

[ "Adult" is a manner of speaking. She's 18 now and she was at the Dream Docks during her birthday, so it still doesn't even feel like it.. but she tries and she's used to taking care of people. ]

Yes. We're trying to get someone who can stay full time, too, but finding the right person is a little difficult.

[ After all, they need someone who both wants to be there and can handle taking care of that many people and can also afford to stay there and didn't have other people who were living as dependents on her.. ~~Plus, she doesn't quite realize that she's probably fully capable of taking care of people like that since the last people she babysat were actual real gods, not kids.~~ ]

Well I hope you will be able to find that someone, though I guess always paying attention to the Bay might be a good start.

I don't think it'd be safe to ask someone straight out of the Bay, since we can't really know them yet.. [ She doesn't want to leave a total stranger in charge of kids just in case.. ] But I think we'll figure it out as soon as we can.

But what if you knew they were good with children. Like someone who was a parent?

I would still want to get to know them a little first, just in case, or have someone here who knew them to vouch for them.
