[Video] Job-hunting...again

[For her new public announcement, Karla's just going to get straight to the point.]

I think I need a new job. Battling at the Colosseum all the time is losing its appeal. The statue invasion was a nice change of pace, but we all knew that it wouldn't last very long.

My primary skill is in battle, but that's not exactly needed in an everyday life. I have some experience as a waitress, and I would not object to learning any new skills a job may require.

Colosseum? [Sounds rough.]

I'm planning to open a training center. I'm still working on details but would you like to work there?

[Not that Aqua is planning to charge people but it's an idea.]

I don't know how you are at teaching.

A training center, hmm? Sounds interesting, especially with what has been going on lately.

[With the spirits attacking and the statue invasion, more people should learn how to defend themselves.]

I've never taught anyone before, so I don't know how well I could do that. I didn't even have anyone to teach me these sword arts.

[Aqua just smiles.]

If you'd like we can meet and talk it over. Perhaps you can attempt to train me just to see if you can.

[Though Aqua's reached the mark of mastery she knows that she'll never stop learning how to fight.]

Well, I suppose we could do that. Should we meet now?

If you are free.

[Aqua doesn’t have all that much to do at the moment.]

[Karla doesn't exactly have anything to do either.]

Sure, I'm free now. Where should we meet?

Is Fayren easy? I know that there is more space than in Genessia.

[She's thinking of setting the training center up there or similarly another world.]

Fayren is fine. I spend a lot of time in Attleton, but I haven't exactly established a home for myself, so I can go anywhere.

[She's used to the whole wandering thing.]

[Aqua smiles.]

Then I'll met you there. We'll met by the gate and then find a place to work.

[She doesn't know any landmarks besides the gate.]

Very well.

[And she'll head to the gate of Fayren and wait for the blue-haired girl.]

[Aqua stands at the gate to Fayren with a smile spread across her lips. She doesn't mind waiting and it's her own fault for suggesting a place that was so close to her home. She's patient and it's a nice day out.

When she spots the girl she's meeting she waves with a smile.]

Ah, there you are.

[Karla moves to meet up with the girl.]

Oh...I don't believe I caught your name...

Aqua. I don't know if I caught yours either.

[If she had she's sorry.]

Aqua? That's interesting. I'm Karla. I'm...terrible at introducing myself.

[She smiles.]

Well you only have to once.

[At least to her.]

Shall we? I think there is a good spot just over the hill.

Sure. Lead the way.

[Karla returns the smile.]

[Aqua nods and then turns towards the field she had spotted. It might be a good location but for now she's going to just focus on Karla. Once they are far enough away she stops.

She turns to face her companion and then summons her keyblade to her hand.]

What shall we start with?

Um...well...

[Karla can only shake her head, really having no idea where to begin. She blinks curiously at the key-shaped weapon, though.]

...Is that a key?

[Aqua nods.]

This is a keyblade. [She smiles slightly.] If you are willing to fight me, we can test the strength of your heart using this blade.

[It's true that she's looking for teachers but there is more to teach besides technique.]

The strength of my heart, huh?

[She draws her sword, more than willing to fight, but her gaze wanders. She knows how strong she is physically, but the strength of her heart is a whole different matter.]

Then we begin.

[Aqua is a master but more than that her heart and conviction are strong. She brings her blade down to her side, her form perfectly in place as she waits for Karla.]

Schnee Company currently has one security position available in Genessia, one front desk position in Nova City, and cleaning and maintenance positions at both locations. I'll also need to hire for a third branch once that project gets underway.

Those sound good.

[The security position would probably suit her best, but she won't be picky. She'll take whatever's available. The question is which position to take when multiples are available...]

What all does the security position entail?

Schnee Company serves as welcome centers and providing the area-specific information, skills, and general travel services to thrive in the area. Because we are many times the first face that new arrivals see, they don't always have a positive reaction. It's necessary to have security on-site to protect the staff and guests for those occasions and to assist with city-wide crises as they occur, such as the recent evacuation during the barrier breach.

[She doesn't need to think much on that position.]

All right, I can help with such crises. I can certainly help with defense. What should I do to apply?

I can set up an interview and skills test if you're available within the next week.

[Another interview? But those are so haaard. Regardless, she understands why they're necessary.]

That works for me. I'm available anytime.

Then I'll see you tomorrow at 8am.

[ Short notice is always good to see how people manage under dynamic circumstances. ]

[For Karla, that's hardly short notice.]

As you say. You would be in Genessia, correct?

For the interview, yes. That's where our main office is located.

All right, I'll be there.

[And so she'll arrive at the building at the appointed time and knock on the door.]
