Mission 1 - S.S.D.D.
Genessia City - City Streets
Genessia City - Schnee Company Office
[It's not common for people who suddenly wake up in a completely different universe to be calm and walk around like it's just another day, but for Agent Dantes, it really is - sort of. Once he made it out of the Bay, his face plate disassembles to slide back and reveal his face. He puts his rifle on the magnet on his back before taking a seemingly casual stroll, trying to blend in as much as he could in his streamlined armor with holstered weapons on it. His stride is calm and confident despite the funny looks he's getting from some of the pedestrians on the sidewalk. He has the pamphlet, the money, and his communicator stored within his armor's storage compartments, but he wears the necklace around his arm instead, wrapped around his gauntlet like a chained wrist accessory.
It didn't take long before Troy found something to do in this new world. Troy stopped for a minute to help a delivery crew, as one of their truck's wheels that got stuck on a ditch in the road. After talking with the crew who told him about the called-for help is running late, Troy wasted no time and lifted the vehicle slightly just to free it out of the trench. It seemed easy for him because of his armor. After exchanging a few more words with a grateful crew, Troy waves as they went on their way. He sighs with pride as he stood tall with his fist on his waist.
That was before Troy notices someone with the same gemstone necklace he has. Troy clears his throat and dusts his armored palms together, towards the other person with the necklace. He gets their attention them with a friendly upward nod before pointing to their necklace]
Say, how long have you been in here for?
Genessia City - Schnee Company Office
[Troy observes the facade of the Schnee Company's headquarters for a good few seconds, trying to burn the images of important locations in the city into his memory. He remembers seeing the girl in white from the hologram earlier. He lets himself in, but not before freeing himself from his armor and taking the necklace. The suit opens up to let Troy walk out of it before assembling itself again. The armor stayed outside to stand guard while Troy enters and approaches the front desk without any visible hesitation.
He fixes the cuffs and the collar of his white jacket over his black fitting shirt, to make himself look presentable before speaking to the attendant]
Hi there. I was encouraged by a certain Weiss Schnee to drop by.
[Troy raises the hand that is holding the necklace]
I have some questions about these "archways".
no subject
That makes two of us. This is not the kind of universe I was meant to drop to.
[Troy shifts his head to gave his surroundings a quick look, seeing nothing but a peaceful city street before he turns his attention back at Aqua and her covered basket of goodies]
I guess I dodged a bullet, wakin' up here. So I got no complaints.
[Well there are some, but he isn't going to broadcast that just yet. He isn't the complaining type to begin with anyway.]
Listen, you seem to be on your way somewhere. Let me walk with you so we're not looking suspicious to the locals by standing here.
[Troy motions to leave their current position with a tilt of his half-armored head, and pointing with his thumb]

I suppose we should. I was just heading home. [She's still working off the money that she had woken up with which meant that this were spars. She'll hopefully get a training center up or begin work at the hospital.]
It's a few blocks away but I'd enjoy the company.
[Aqua turns and then takes a few steps, staring the pace slow until he's able to walk at her side.]
This place is relativity peaceful but there is a darkness here. I don't know what it might be.
no subject
"Darkness"? Must be a culture thing, but I'm guessing you mean trouble by that.
[He came from a world where "darkness" is a poetic word to use to describe trouble or conflict, internal or otherwise.]
I would be surprised if there isn't any of that here, though. Seems every world you go to and every being you meet isn't spared from that.
no subject
Sort of.
[She isn't sure how to explain or if she should. This world isn't like hers and while it's here it's not connected to the others. She doesn't really know what's going on and usually her business in other worlds is to be discrete.]
I heard there were spirits attacking people in Genessia and last month there was unrest in Attleton.
no subject
Must have been some incident. Spirit attacks can be traumatizing to normal people, and they don't usually happen. I hope they're all doing okay.
[Troy speaks from experience. In his world before he was recruited by the all-powerful private sector, Troy was one of the best people specializing in dealing with supernatural threats.]
Where were you during these events?
no subject
That first one I wasn't in the city yet. It was somehow concluded right before I arrived. The second... well, I helped with those who were injured since there were so many fighting.
[She doesn't feel like she's done enough in that regard.]
I'm hoping to set up a training school soon. One of the others here wants to outfit those who can with swords or weapons. Which aren't very useful unless someone knows how to use them.
no subject
A training academy. That's not a bad plan. Especially if there are events like that going around.
[Troy finds teaching to be one of his callings. Imparting his knowledge so that others could use it for good, and whenever his students surpass him in something - it's one of the greatest feelings to have. He'd happily volunteer, but he'll have to know more about what Aqua's plans for it are before he jumps to it. Most likely though, he will volunteer. He's got nothing else to do in the near future]
I take it you'll be the head teacher and are one hell of a fighter if that's your plan. You got me even more curious about ya, I'm having a hard time not looking at you right now.
[He laughs. Troy is a bit of a flirty bastard, but he's got some morals and wouldn't take it too far. He does find Aqua to be fascinating, though. Everything about her is just foreign to him and the world he came from]
no subject
I've achieved the mark of mastery but I don't think anyone stops learning. [She hopes to pass on at least a little of what she knows.
Aqua laughs softly, her lips curling into a wide smile.] Thank you. That's very nice of you to say.
[There is a faint blush to her cheeks as she glances back towards where they are headed. She's confident and strong but a little awkward about things she has very little experiance with.]
Would you be interested in a training ground as well?
no subject
Joining your school? I would be, yeah! I like seeing other people's fighting styles and teaching complete beginners. But I'm gonna have to know more about the specifics you've got planned for it, and who else is involved.
[Troy gets the feeling he'll work well enough with Aqua, but if there's anybody else involved, he'll like to meet them first. Because he and Terra may rub each other the wrong way]
no subject
No one just yet. I had thought to ask ....
[It's complicated where Terra is involved. He isn't ready to become a teacher. Aqua will keep watch over him but she has yet to know if he's succumb to the darkness in his heart. She looks over at Troy with a smile.]
I have a few friends here but it's not the sort of thing to ask lightly. I'm happy to have other teachers but I'd rather test them myself.
I wouldn't want to put someone's training in the hands of someone false. [Her heart aches remembering her own master but she quickly pushes the thought away.]
Would you be alright with a test? As well as anyone else taking the same test. Administered by you or me. [She has a feeling he'd pass.]
no subject
[There was a brief second pause. He didn't expect Aqua to allow him to administrate membership tests this soon. He's flattered, but she hasn't even seen him fight yet.]
I'm not opposed to a test for teachers, it only makes sense to see what they're made of before you give them the job. Though I'm honored you think I'm worthy to do administrative duties already. Am I really that trustworthy lookin' to you?
[He raises a brow at Aqua, while the corner of his lips remained quirked. The two crossed a second street, reaching the second block in the direction of Aqua's residence.]
no subject
You think I'm wrong?
[Aqua looks both ways before moving across the street.]
It's just a feeling and I'm going to trust it.
[Somehow she knows he's more than just a good person. Though there are things she wonders about. Aqua knows she can trust him.
She laughs softly.] That okay?
no subject
[Troy grins some more and responds with a playful boast. He is the type to trust his feelings, so getting to meet a girl like that made him like Aqua more. He sees her walking towards a certain building after crossing the street, so he just followed her to the door]
Well it seems like we've arrived at your place.
[Troy would stop and face Aqua once they arrive the door. His confident grin had a hint of flirty. He made her blush earlier, and now that she's heading home he feels like flirting with her again.]
We're gonna have to talk some more about your plans for that training academy some other time then, miss. Maybe over a cup of coffee?
no subject
We have. Thank you for walking me home.
[Aqua knows he had been searching for answers about this world but it's been nice all the same. She's usually out by herself these days. At his next question her smile widens.]
I'd like that. I don't think I've had coffee here.
[Though there are more than a few cafe's and coffee shops in town.]
no subject
[Troy's ego got a bit of a boost when he heard Aqua agree to his offer. A few moments ago she was just blushing, but now this.]
Let me know what time I should pick you up. I'd love to talk to you about your plans for this academy, and just about anything else.
[There is a lot more he wants to talk to Aqua about, and the feeling was mutual in that he enjoyed her company as well despite their walk being brief. He leans forward just a little, being a tease and making Aqua think that he's going to do something. But in the middle of that, he extends his hand for a handshake. His grin wider than before and with a hint of mischief]
Call me Troy. I figure you're going to need that name. For contacting me.
no subject
I'm planning to send out a video once I have all the details worked out. I'll send you a message then and we can meet.
[She'd rather have something to show him before they got together. She is a little curious to meet him again and learn more about him.]
I'm Aqua. [She feels a little silly for not saying so earlier.]
I'll see you later then, Troy.
no subject
[Troy nods as he prepared to continue his exploration of Genessia city.]
I look forward to it. You have a good one.
[He waves her goodbye before going on his way]
