Mission 1 - S.S.D.D.
Genessia City - City Streets
Genessia City - Schnee Company Office
[It's not common for people who suddenly wake up in a completely different universe to be calm and walk around like it's just another day, but for Agent Dantes, it really is - sort of. Once he made it out of the Bay, his face plate disassembles to slide back and reveal his face. He puts his rifle on the magnet on his back before taking a seemingly casual stroll, trying to blend in as much as he could in his streamlined armor with holstered weapons on it. His stride is calm and confident despite the funny looks he's getting from some of the pedestrians on the sidewalk. He has the pamphlet, the money, and his communicator stored within his armor's storage compartments, but he wears the necklace around his arm instead, wrapped around his gauntlet like a chained wrist accessory.
It didn't take long before Troy found something to do in this new world. Troy stopped for a minute to help a delivery crew, as one of their truck's wheels that got stuck on a ditch in the road. After talking with the crew who told him about the called-for help is running late, Troy wasted no time and lifted the vehicle slightly just to free it out of the trench. It seemed easy for him because of his armor. After exchanging a few more words with a grateful crew, Troy waves as they went on their way. He sighs with pride as he stood tall with his fist on his waist.
That was before Troy notices someone with the same gemstone necklace he has. Troy clears his throat and dusts his armored palms together, towards the other person with the necklace. He gets their attention them with a friendly upward nod before pointing to their necklace]
Say, how long have you been in here for?
Genessia City - Schnee Company Office
[Troy observes the facade of the Schnee Company's headquarters for a good few seconds, trying to burn the images of important locations in the city into his memory. He remembers seeing the girl in white from the hologram earlier. He lets himself in, but not before freeing himself from his armor and taking the necklace. The suit opens up to let Troy walk out of it before assembling itself again. The armor stayed outside to stand guard while Troy enters and approaches the front desk without any visible hesitation.
He fixes the cuffs and the collar of his white jacket over his black fitting shirt, to make himself look presentable before speaking to the attendant]
Hi there. I was encouraged by a certain Weiss Schnee to drop by.
[Troy raises the hand that is holding the necklace]
I have some questions about these "archways".

Intriguing; so you have already made the decision to open one. I would be quite interested in your offer as well as observing the general area, however. Thank you.
[Followed by a steady nod.]
Then the final section should be of interest to you as well- I have received feedback from a pilot and soldier, but I would be interested in your opinion as well.
[She takes the lead once more, and after a descent down an elevator, the two arrive at another garage. This is again populated by mechanical droids, which are working on a vehicle that could be best described as a heavily armored spider.]
This is a personal tank, which seats and is piloted by only one person. Its purpose is to handle events that would normally call for a strike team, and allows beings that do not possess superhuman abilities to 'keep up', per se.
The tanks appearance is designed to deter panic of such forces being released. Until now I hadn't considered a pilot having to wear armor though, so I am afraid you may not fit inside.
It is capable of scaling walls, carries several forms of heavy artillery and restraining mechanisms, and can reach speeds of up to two-hundred seventy miles per hour. In your opinion, if this vehicle were capable of carrying an armored individual, would something like this seem useful to you?

Once the elevator doors opened, Troy soaked in the image of the parked mechanical droids and the garage's interior. He was a step behind Satsuki as they both exit the elevator, observing the entire complex with his head high and lips loose. He turns his focus to her as soon as she spoke]
Your people made this?
[Troy steps beside Satsuki to get a better view of the entire complex from where she stood.]
I'd like to see it in action first before I can really give you an opinion, but I can definitely say I don't need to ride one. 270 miles is good against D-class supers. May be too slow for C-classes unless you swarm 'em...
[Troy sucks his teeth, scratching his jaw before speaking again. His suit allows him to move at incredible speeds, even without using the built-in thrusters. So right now, he thinks these spider drones would only be useful to him for building security or back-up like he used his drones back home]
That's how we classify threat levels of enhanced individuals in my world. It doesn't exactly apply here, especially since I have yet to see one.
[He pauses]
How powerful are the threats you've seen in Genessia's cities so far? Do you have other machines in store here? These sound good, but you'll need more speed than what these babies have if you want to deal with really tough ones.

[She may actually seem a bit embarrassed. Vehicle design is most certainly not her strongest suit, but thankfully these droids were able to make various calculations and suggestions for her. But in the end, they just aren't human.
He has her utmost attention as he gives his thoughts, and she doesn't even need to pause to consider the answer to his question. However Satsuki does withdraw a device from her pocket and use it to take down his thoughts.]
The threats vary in severity; in one scenario an anomaly caused the robotic staff in a power plant to go berserk. In another, a satanic creature set Genessia City ablaze. The second would be the rarer of the situations but even in times such as those the vehicles should be able to perform exceptionally well during evacuations, rescues, and collateral damage control.
We possess no other vehicles like these; there are 'normal' tanks and squad cars otherwise. The former Guardian was a professional roboticist and was able to create robots with myriads of purposes; once he vanished, many of his creations became inoperable.

[Troy didn't ask, but in his mind he wonders if that demonic creature was one of them, pendant-wearers who woke up here against their wills. Weiss gave him a list of pendant-wearers to look out for. They all seem human from the looks of it, but that doesn't mean they can't transform or summon a demonic-looking creature.
Troy puts one hand on the railing overlooking the garage, with his other hand on his hip as he focused his attention on the vehicles below him, already imagining how he could use them to his advantage and what other things he could do to improve them.]
It might be a long shot, but if the tech in my world cooperates with the tech used to make those spider tanks, we could give them a decent upgrade. I'm going to have to check it out up close after we're done with the tour. Is there another place you're planning on showing me, boss?
[And with one word in the form of an affectionate nickname, Troy expresses his acceptance to take this job as Satsuki's deputy.]

['Boss'. Such a lovely ring to it, though still unexpected in the sense that she's normally addressed as 'Lady Satsuki'. Obviously he doesn't know that.]
That is acceptable.
[Somewhat. Having him snooping around without a bit more understanding of his technology doesn't really seem to be the wisest move, but since he appears interested in showing off his phat loot, she can put him through the training grill later.]
And no, that will be all today. I appreciate you taking your time to meet my requests. There is one last thing you should know: Guardian Elections will coming up in December. Naturally I have no intention of losing, having run two terms thus far, but I make it a point to always have a plan B in hand. It'd be best to discuss that further after you pass your official assessment, but I believe it only fair to mention now than later.

[Troy extends his arm to shake Satsuki's hand and pretty much seal the deal. He's aware that he hasn't told much about himself and his technology while he got to see a glimpse of what the Nova City Guardian Office's capabilities. But that would remain priviledged information until Satsuki herself tell him what she can do. He's got a feeling they'll both surprise each other with their capabilities in battle.]
