[ a text gets sent out early to everyone, followed by a video. Shion might be the only one who doesn't get the text and only gets the video ]

Hello, my name is Eve. I've come here under unfortunate circumstances... But I want to share my talent and my voice with all of you in hopes that you will heal. Whether it be from what has happened to you in your world before this one or something that has happened to you while you've been here.

I hope next time to see you all in the theatre for my next performance.

[ there's what appears to be a girl standing on the stage in the theatre of Genessia. it's obvious she might be out of her element and a little nervous. she's wearing a gown (sleeves were added afterward and they're made of chiffon), her hair pulled up just like this, and she is wearing a flower crown on her head which seems to have been made from fresh flowers. but it's covered up soon.

taking a deep breath, she begins to sing without any music playing behind her. her voice is powerful and it echoes off of every wall of the theatre. as if there's someone else standing there and singing with her...but no one is there.

when she's done, everything goes silent. it's like the world settles and everything is calm again. she bows her head, going to curtsy before exiting the stage ]

[ ooc: i understand that his voice actor obviously sounds male but don't ruin it for everyone else :,( Eve used to be really popular back home and all the men wanted her. but if anyone wants to point out that she's a man, go for it. she's just going to ignore them or say how rude it is and make them feel awful for saying that.

but she'll still be here after exiting the stage if anyone wants to talk to her :D

[Terra is curious after receiving a text that might promise healing.

She doesn't know very much about music or the feelings that might arise from the wondrous mixture of lyric and song. She arrives a little late, following the sweet sound until looking up at the stage. She doesn't notice the sex of the singer because she can only hear the words to the song.

She stands in the back and as the song ends she remains, watching people funnel out with a hand resting over her heart. She doesn't know what to say. It's several long moments before she spots the woman. She's a little nervous and her voice is soft when she spoke.]

That was beautiful.

[Shion's definitely taken in by Eve's beauty, but it's her singing that makes him go still as he listens to every emotion and note, hearing it and watching it play out in her typhoon colored eyes. He doesn't instantly snap from the chance, he just stares at Eve, smiling at her affectionately. He does applaud after a moment, even though he's on video.]

Beautiful as always, Eve.

[ she jumps, actually surprised that someone wanted to speak with her. but she does smile when the other compliments her singing ]

Thank you. People from my home used to sing like that all the time. Every word was enough to move someone, sometimes emotionally and physically.

I appreciate you saying that.

[ she's smiling, coming back over to the camera to blow him a kiss ]

Maybe next time I'll see you here in person. Would you like to have dinner to celebrate?

[He brushes some hair out of his face, smiling shyly.]

Do you think you could arrange one of the best seats?

Oh. Sure. Where would you like to go?

One in front would do nicely. I'll have it reserved for you next time.

You can choose, wherever you think is best. [ a pause. now she's just messing with him ] Do you want me to change or go with you in this outfit?

I'm not use to music like that.

[She knows of opera's but she hasn't gotten to really hear such a beautiful song. With a curious glance Terra's head tilts to the side.]/small>

Why do you sing?

It's common in my world. [ she pauses, smiling lightly ]

I sing for the people who want to listen. I sing to heal them and I sing for their souls.

Their souls?

[A hand comes to rest over Terra's heart. She doesn't really understand but she's curious. How can a song heal?]

I don't understand.

[Healing. That's something that touches Sousuke's interests, be it physical or mental. Even if he has high doubts about songs doing anything other than sound pretty, he's still going to attend. At least it would be worth a shot.

... Sousuke's pretty sure this is a guy though, but... well, at least his voice is pretty nice ~~even if it somehow familiar~~. He's not that sure about the healing part... maybe he's just too skeptical for things like that.]

Well, that was pretty.

That's generous. It's only because we're from the same world, isn't it?

Okay. But it's for you, so if you don't approve, tell me. [he'll play along.] I don't have anything nearly that glamorous. I don't want to make you look bad, so maybe you should change?

Don't think so low of yourself. That isn't the only reason.

Will it embarrass you? Is that why? [ and a nod ] I'll meet you in front of the theatre in fifteen minutes.

What do you mean? I sing to help those who have been injured or broken; to give them hope to keep on going.

[ a pause. she looks down ] Even...to guide them on their way to the afterlife.

Thank you. [ and she'll smile ] I take it that you liked it then?

And what other reasons would there be, for someone as famous as Eve to be so kind to one of her fans?

...I could never be embarrassed around you. I'll see you soon.

I'll have to tell you later, if you can't guess.

[ she smiles, giving a nod and turning the video off.

in fifteen minutes, there's Nezumi just like he said. he's standing out back in his normal clothes. no scarf/cloak though. there doesn't really seem to be a need for it right now ]

[A hand rests over Terra's heart as she spoke.]

What if someone can't be healed? What if they've done to many horrible things?

[Shion hasn't really had time (or wanted to) shop, so when he arrives, he's in the same outfit he had when he got here. He smiles when he sees Nezumi, and glances around him.]

Have you seen my date? Her name is Eve. We were supposed to meet here. I hope someone else didn't catch her attention... I'm sure she's already captivated a hundred guys by now.

Oh, you poor sap... I think you got stood up by her. She's long gone; gone for a good twenty minutes.

[ he shakes his head, smiling ] But if you're still looking for a date, would you mind if I come along? It won't be as much fun as it would be with Eve but I promise I'll try to make it special.

Maybe not now but eventually that person would heal. Healing takes time also...

That song was meant to ease your heart. It can help with the healing process but not heal it completely.

Oh, I see... [He pretends to look hurt, but he's mostly getting lost in Nezumi's mercurial eyes.]

[His eyes widen and he feigns surprise.] You'd go out with me? You do seem more my type. Maybe Eve did me a favor... If you really want to come along, I won't argue.

A type? I didn't even know you had one.

[ he clears his throat, one arm across his back and one across his stomach. he bows, looking up at the other after a moment as he extends a hand ] Then allow me to accompany you, sir. But be warned, Eve is not one to be tested. She will take her anger out on the both of us when she finds out that two eligible bachelors are together and not fawning over her.

[She is trying to understand but every time she thought about it she becomes more uncertain.]

Can I listen to you sing again then?

[She pauses.]

It doesn't have to be now.

Yeah. It's not the kind of music I listen to, but it was good.

[Though this might be an awkward thing to say.] Though your voice sounded a bit deep for a girl...

I appreciate that.

Huh? [ and cue a frown. ~~it's like the same person is talking to themselves in my brain~~ ] That's rather rude, don't you think? I've had vocal chord surgery to repair it.
