[ a text gets sent out early to everyone, followed by a video. Shion might be the only one who doesn't get the text and only gets the video ]

Hello, my name is Eve. I've come here under unfortunate circumstances... But I want to share my talent and my voice with all of you in hopes that you will heal. Whether it be from what has happened to you in your world before this one or something that has happened to you while you've been here.

I hope next time to see you all in the theatre for my next performance.

[ video ]

[ there's what appears to be a girl standing on the stage in the theatre of Genessia. it's obvious she might be out of her element and a little nervous. she's wearing a gown (sleeves were added afterward and they're made of chiffon), her hair pulled up just like this, and she is wearing a flower crown on her head which seems to have been made from fresh flowers. but it's covered up soon.

taking a deep breath, she begins to sing without any music playing behind her. her voice is powerful and it echoes off of every wall of the theatre. as if there's someone else standing there and singing with her...but no one is there.

when she's done, everything goes silent. it's like the world settles and everything is calm again. she bows her head, going to curtsy before exiting the stage ]

[ ooc: i understand that his voice actor obviously sounds male but don't ruin it for everyone else :,( Eve used to be really popular back home and all the men wanted her. but if anyone wants to point out that she's a man, go for it. she's just going to ignore them or say how rude it is and make them feel awful for saying that.

but she'll still be here after exiting the stage if anyone wants to talk to her :D

Oh, I see... [He pretends to look hurt, but he's mostly getting lost in Nezumi's mercurial eyes.]

[His eyes widen and he feigns surprise.] You'd go out with me? You do seem more my type. Maybe Eve did me a favor... If you really want to come along, I won't argue.

A type? I didn't even know you had one.

[ he clears his throat, one arm across his back and one across his stomach. he bows, looking up at the other after a moment as he extends a hand ] Then allow me to accompany you, sir. But be warned, Eve is not one to be tested. She will take her anger out on the both of us when she finds out that two eligible bachelors are together and not fawning over her.

That's because my type is just one person. I'm not surprised you didn't know.

[He smiles at Nezumi's flair for drama, and takes his hand into his own.] She can deal. But if you're concerned, we should hurry.

I was just oblivious. Besides, you shouldn't just limit yourself to one person. You're a strapping young man who needs to be out there and exploring all of the possibilities! [ honestly, he would probably let him do something like that if he needed to. but for now, he knows Shion is loyal ]

[ he moves Shion's hand to rest on his bicep as if he's escorting the other ] Then we should be off before she spots us. Where to first?

Are you trying to give me a pep talk to date other people, or are you just trying to encourage me? [He arcs one eyebrow. He'd never go out and do that, of course. Nezumi is his most important person.]

[He's too busy admiring his bicep, which he can still feel under the fabric to blush or anything.] ...There's a nice restaurant I found that I think you'll like.

I'm just giving you options, honestly. You can stay with me and be miserable or you can be with millions of other people.

[ he looks over at Shion, walking onward ] Oh? And where is this restaurant that could potentially peak my interest?

I'm not sure if that's possible. Assuming I'm with one person per day, it would take well over my lifetime to be with millions of other people. I wonder what the record is for being with other people...

[He smiles, moving closer to Nezumi until they're brushing.] It's not too far a walk, I promise.

I don't know, but you could break it if you really wanted to.

[ he moved his other hand over the other's on his arm when he moves closer ] I'll hold you to that promise.

You're deluded.

[He tries to sound exasperated, but he's smiling when he holds his hand.] It's over there.

[It's a two story building with walls that are a cream color and there are balconies on the second floor, closed off with black iron and further closed with some plants that make it even more secluded. The interior has a warm glow to it, and judging by the small tables, it's more of a couple's place than it is a family restaurant. The host asks them if they want to sit inside or outside.]

Where do you want to sit, Nezumi?

Inside's good with me. [ he looks up at everything, looking to the balcony too ] Maybe we can hang out there after dinner?

Sure, and then we can recite Shakespeare to eachother. [The host asks them to follow him to be seated at one of the tables and tells them it will just be a moment before their server arrives.]

Thank you. [He turns his attention back to Nezumi after that.]

You know you enjoy it, otherwise you would've told me way before this to can it. At least I hope you would've.

[ a fancy restaurant like this and Nezumi is looking around at everything like a kid in a candy store. he's sitting, not even noticing Shion looking at him. were the restaurants like this in Number Six? or only a few? is this where the guys who came to the theater ate every night?

he's brought out of his thoughts and reaches up to take one of the napkins on the table and place it in his lap. even if he doesn't know proper table ettiequte, he has read it in books ] So, Mister Shion, how was your day today? Any troubling news around the neighborhood?

You're right. I do enjoy it. I learn new things each time and get to see a side of you others don't. You're really gifted.

[He smiles at Nezumi fondly, not really conscious he's making that expression. He was worried what he would think, because he's never done something as...romantic? as this before.]

Is it Mister now? Not so much. The worlds that others are kidnapped from are fascinating, I wish I could see them myself. More importantly, I'd like to know how they've made it so we can all communicate with eachother and there be no sort of language barrier. There's so much that needs to be researched.

[ he smirks when he sees his expression but he doesn't say anything about it ] It feels like I just saw you, before we got here. But when I arrived, it felt like I hadn't seen you for a long time. That sounds strange, huh?

Well, you'll probably get a lot of that once you get a scientist or doctor job here. I don't see why you wouldn't get it. You've got the knowledge. [ he nods though ] Yeah, there's a lot of different kinds of people here. I'm thinking that there could be a translator inside the phones that change the speech. Even those necklaces could have a small chip in them that changes the languages all to universal.

No. It's not strange. I felt similar, it was like I was asleep for a long time. To be honest, I don't want to sleep again.

As fun as stitching up wounds is, I'm not really qualified to be a doctor. [Because it was fun to him.] But you're right that there's nothing stopping me from pursuing that knowledge here.

[His eyes light up when Nezumi goes into detail over the technology. He always notices things Shion doesn't.] That might be it! But we can't break our necklaces... Maybe we can find one that's no longer being used and take it apart!

Heh, you'll need to sleep soon or you'll collapse. But you can sleep with me again now. [ and he smiiiiiiiiles~ not like he would have it any other way. he's used to someone sleeping in his bed now ]

You might be able to learn more. Maybe there's a hospital that you can learn at. I doubt there's a school or anything.

[ he nods ] The girl in the hollogram from when we arrived here... Do you think she would have access to one or would know more about it?

You sound pretty smug over that fact. [But he doesn't even sound annoyed, and he's grinning to himself.]

No school, huh? That might be possible... Why are you so eager for me to be a doctor? Do you plan to get into a fight with someone? If so you'll be disappointed. I'd have a lot of patients on my hands and not enough time to perform first aid myself.

[He suddenly looks excited.] Let's ask her! [Slams his hands on the table, before he realizes where they are. He blushes and looks sheepish, mumbling a quiet apology before continuing his conversation on a more normal volume level.] I mean...it's worth a shot.

Like I would have it any other way?

I don't know, I might have to fight some people to keep them in line. They might try to take advantage of your kindness here. [ he gives a shrug ] I can wait for you. I wouldn't let anyone else help me.

[ he smiles wide when Shion exclaims like that. it's pretty cute but the waiter is back now ] Sorry, we haven't even looked at the menu yet... Do you have a soup of the day or anything?

I don't know... Sometimes you kick in your sleep.

What makes you think I'd allow them to do that? [He blinks. Aw that's really sweet of him. However:] I'd rather you let someone else help than half a rambling, bleeding Nezumi if that were the case. Your safety is more important to me.

[He looks even more embarrassed since the waiter saw him. He kind of grimaces and looks at the menu.] I think soup is your favorite food.

Only because I'm running in my sleep.

[ eyeroll ] I'm still not going to let anyone do that. I trust you... So you're the only one who can nurse me back to health.

[ he shrugs ] It's an easy food. I'll just take that and a sandwich, I guess.

Okay, good point.

[Shakes his head.] ...Maybe you should be my only patient. I like nursing you back to health more than a stranger.

[He blinks, but the waiter's already scribbling it down.] Are you sure? You can try whatever you want.

Fine with me, as long as you look the part this time. [ he needs to be decked out in some nice scrubs! ]

I'm fine, Shion. It's what I'm used to. [ seriously. he would feel so bad if he got something that he didn't like ]

And I'll have all the right tools this time too! [That part excites him more.]

In that case...I'll have the same. [And the waiter talks about how they like that one because of something before asking, "What would you like to drink?"]

Ah...shouldn't we drink something to celebrate, Nezumi?

Good! That means you can't half ass it either.

[ Nezumi slams a hand down on the table, looking pretty excited ] Yes! We'll both have a glass of water and then your finest wine--

No, I lied. How about your cheapest that doesn't taste like rotten grapes?

I didn't half ass it the first time! [He didn't! He worked really hard on that stitching okay.]

[He's starting to feel bad for the poor table, but the waiter doesn't seem to react much.] Ah...I don't know much about wine, so whatever you think is good.

[The waiter makes a suggestion.] That sounds good. I'd like a glass of that too, please.
