Hello~! Since today is my birthday, Trick-and-Treat has a special birthday giveaway. To anyone visiting, you will have a free bag of candy. The prizes are also down for tonight, so it's a very good night to shop for any Halloween sweets!

[ Yui already knew it was his birthday. She'd had time to prepare, and prepare she had. She was a little nervous, but in fairness- she wasn't sure if her ideas would quite live up to Loki's standards. He was the trickster god after all- but she still wanted to try.

In her hands, she held out a card to Loki once she found him. Step one: give him a birthday card with a confetti flipper full of glitter. Yes, glitter. He'll be glittery for his entire birthday. Clearly the best prank to start with. Once he recovers from glitter, the card says "Happy birthday, Loki-san! For your birthday, you get 1 Partner in Crime for 3 pranks, no matter how intense you want to do them."

She had a few other things for him later, like a cake, but this was the important part to start with. ]

[This has to be the first birthday card Loki's ever gotten, to be quite honest. He knows it's a human tradition, but he's just never encountered it himself before. So, he's a little excited to actually open it-]

Whoa-! [... and get glitter all over himself. One thing he's also learned about while being here. Really, Yui? Loki laughs though, since it's kind of funny.] I didn't expect that.

[The text that follows once he gets to the card itself is something he didn't expect either. He looks at Yui, amazed.]

You... are you sure?

Yes! It's human tradition that whoever's birthday it is gets to be pampered on their birthday. Today's all about you, so we can do something you love.

[ She loves that surprised look on his face, honestly. It tells her already that she's done a good job, since he clearly wasn't expecting it. Loki wasn't a fan of boring- she knew him well enough to know even what kind of birthday card he would like. ]

[Humans sure had weird traditions ~~even if he's pretty sure that glitter isn't included~~. Not that Loki can complain. Getting pampered... sounds very nice.]

I like the idea of that. Birthdays sure have a lot of meaning with humans, huh?

[He hasn't really celebrated his birthday. Imagine how many he's missed by now.

This comes at the most perfect timing though. He's had some grudge against a certain red head that he'd like to pay back, but it's been hard to come up with a good prank. Thanks Yui, you're a lifesaver.]

Actually, you can help me trick Mikoshiba if he comes for a visit. I have an idea we can do.

[ She nods about it having a lot of meaning. They live a much shorter life than gods do, so it's important to celebrate every year that they're still there. But talking about death isn't exactly in the spirit of birthdays. Best not to explain that right now. ]

[ Yui looks a surprised when he already knows what he wants to do. ]

I thought you'd have to think about it more.. [ And picking Mikoshiba, oh boy.. She promised though! She puts on a determined face and nods firmly. ] Okay! What's the prank?

[Don't worry, he will think hard on the remaining pranks. This just had been bothering him for the longest of time.]

Pretend that you're my girlfriend.

[ That was the last thing she had expected. In fact, her face actually lights up pink at the suggestion. There's no subtlety in it for her to miss, and the thought of being Loki's girlfriend even for pretending is making her ears burn. ]
