4 | action in Fayren/locked audio message

[Well crap. Like others, even Loki is affected by his fears in Fayren. What would be the god of fire, chaos and mischief be afraid of? His own best friend, Balder, gone berserk and destroying everything around him with light beams.]

Balder! Get ahold of yourself!

[This had happened before. They had managed to prevent it before. But they weren't at the garden now. What should he do now? Even the most desperate method isn't an option when he doesn't have the right weapon.

Loki can be found trying to pass Balder's protective shield and dodging the light beams in his god form, while trying to prevent the worst from happening. So far Loki's already taken some damage, because for some reason, Balder is focused on hurting him....]

[Loki sounds very exhausted when he makes the message.]

Balder is here. He's the god of destruction. Don't come to Fayren! I'll do something about him...

[ There's a lot of concern in her voice. She isn't sure what she can do, but she has to do something. ]

[ He should already know that. She's fully against hurting Balder. ]

[It was just something he said out of habit. Just hurting him so he'd stop would be good enough, but if even that is out... what can they do?]

[ She says it like it's the most obvious thing in the world, that she doesn't want Loki to get hurt either. And it's true, both for him and Balder, but she definitely sounds emotional about this whole thing. Maybe a little more than usual.. ]

So just don't do anything rash until we can figure something out, Loki-san. Maybe.. Maybe we can get some mistletoe and tie him up with it? It shouldn't kill him, but maybe it can calm him down...

[ She isn't sure. She doesn't know, it's the only thing she can think of right now.. she won't kill Balder and she absolutely won't let Loki kill him.. even if it's just a temporary solution... ]

A rope made of mistletoe? That would work, but where can we find something like that on such a short notice...?

[He's only good for making fire. Then again, he could try lassoing him with fire since that wouldn't even hurt him... but he'd also break free in seconds, most likely.]

[ IT IS NEARLY NOVEMBER, WHICH MEANS ONE THING: CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS ARE BEING SOLD. All she has to do is find some real mistletoe and everything'll be okay.. probably. ]

[ She doesn't hang up, but she puts the device in her pocket on speaker so that she can run without risking dropping it. ]

[Loki'd ask what November's got to do with this, but it's not the time and place. He'll just put his trust on Yui on this.

The phone stays on with the power of handwave god stuff he manages to keep it on himself as well. He'll continue to try and persuade Balder.]

[ Yui doesn't stop running even when she nearly plows someone down turning a corner, but Loki can probably hear her apologizing as someone yells in the background about watching where she's going. This is too important to slow down. When she can hear Loki yelling on the other end, it helps her to motivate herself to run faster, past what she thought she could. She doesn't stop until she nearly runs into the automated door at the local thrift store, it going much slower than she was. ]

I need all of the mistletoe you have, right now! And a box, or a large bag! Please!

[ She wasn't sure how they were going to rope it together, but at the very least... Yui looks around and goes to grab a couple of crazy glue bottles and some belts. They can glue the mistletoe to the belts, then the belts should be able to hold together without ripping..

The man comes back with a box of mistletoe and she pays him quickly, moving out of the store and just sitting on the sidewalk to start making the mistletoe belt rope. It's better to do it here while it's safe and have it prepared for Loki than to risk it getting destroyed before she can get it to him. ]

Please hold on, Loki-san, Balder-san...

[Likewise, hearing Yui working hard makes Loki more motivated to fight against Balder. Well, more like staying out of harms way and trying to make sure Balder doesn't destroy anything... but his movements are still sharper than they were before.]

Why are you letting such a stupid thing take control of you again, Balder?! Snap out of it! Just like you did before.... we can get through this together!

[There's little to no reaction from Balder, which makes the situation all the more worse and Loki feels like it's useless no matter what he does or says... but he won't give up.]

[ Yui's trying to go as quickly as she can. This whole thing has her heart racing in fear and worry. She wonders if this was just that Balder-san arrived when he was in the middle of his episode. As soon as she managed to glue as much together as she could, Yui linked the belts together and curled it up into circles before quickly shouting through the device to Loki. ]

I'm coming, Loki-san!

[ That's all she said before she's on her way. Just to let Loki know that it wouldn't be long now, to watch for her so they could solve this as soon as possible.. ]

[Loki smiles at the device slightly, but doesn't reply, as he's got to fly away from the damn light show Balder is causing again. He's also shooting fire to stop the light beams from causing any harm on the environment.]

You're a stupid jerk, you know that Balder?! Ugh.

[ This is the most festive weapon anyone's ever made. Yui probably looks like a crazy person looking as serious as she does running around with glued together mistletoe on belts. it takes her quiet some time and she's out of breath by the time she finds Loki, so much so that when she finally gets there her voice sounds off when she yells from the ground, bent over and holding the belts up. ]

LOKI-SAN!

[Once Loki hears Yui he immediately dives down to her side, making sure he'd be able to protect her from harm should he need to.]

Is that it? ... now the problem is how to get it on him.
