[ To those umfamiliar with Braga, there is an orc on the video. She seems to be in a pleasant mood.]

Those Ruins in Fayren are makin' me kinda nostalgic for the adventuring I did back home. Anyone wanna form an adventuring party?

I'm Braga,a front line warrior type. I could join with a trap disarming rogues, and magic types, both holy and divine. It wouldn't hurt to have more warriors watching their backs.

[ If no one wants to join, at least the video makes it less likely for her to be mistaken for one of the monsters in the ruins.]

I'm a sky pirate, I have many specialties. In this, though, I suppose you could call me a treasure hunter.

That's one way of putting it, without going into all the multidimensional stuff.

That sounds perfect. How are ya at disarming traps?

Tragic. Not much call for adventurers in these parts, is there?

I try to avoid such things, but I know my way around a lock. Triggers are no different.

I just felt like trying something more peaceful, though too much of that can get boring.

That works. As long as whatever's guarding the treasure doesn't herd you into the traps.

And how often would you say that is? Often enough to make a living?

The disasters ain't always profitable. Some bounties pay well.

I work in the library. I like books.

That sounded pretty classical, like something out of Tolkien. Which made Ted smile.

"Hah, I wouldn't mind, if one who's been there before doesn't ruin the novelty for you. Unfortunately I'm not quite any of those; just company. And of course if you do meet a 'holy magician', it'd gratify me very much to meet them."

[ She comes from a world loosely inspired by Tolkien, so it's close enough.]

You're not too busy with your City Guardian duties?

In my world, they're called clerics. Druids are closer to divine than arcane, with their nature magic.

[ The other orc would qualify, as a shaman.]

I was about to tango with some gangsters, but Yukiko, that teenage girl who runs the Amagi Inn, took care of it for me. And, of course my deputies are always there, whom I trust absolutely to man the fort.

[Weird that she brought up; she'd probably be the first to recognize that he's the Guardian on sight. She must read the news or something.]

Hmm, I suppose it's natural for nature to be reckoned as divine, if only somewhat. Goodness, I could really use such a hierophant, especially if one were talented at changing men's minds.

[ Yes, she does read the news. Also, Ted's way with words gives him away.]

That kinda sounds like a different skill set. I think a bard is better for influencing folk.

[ There's limits to how well read a barbarian can be. Braga is a bit confused.]

[Darn, if only he played an instrument. Or knew Arcane magic. Or had overwhelming charisma. Being a bard just might be right up Ted's ally.]

Hmm. Weren't your clerics interested in conversion, or were they pretty satisfied with their laity?

I guess it depends on which god they follow. Some will heal anyone.

[ Ted got lost in thought. What sort of god doesn't want worshipers? Are even the gods antisocial? And what sort of priest has no interest in acquiring them? And healing, what has that got to do with it? Granted, miraculous healing does tend to win men over to a faith pretty fast, if only out of obligation...

An unnatural pause came over the comms as he tried to puzzle all this out. It was clear whatever adventure she had in mind would have to come second to theological gossip.]

"Oh! Sorry. What kind of gods were followed?"

[Seifer had been here about a week, trying to figure things out, so far everything seemed pretty cool except not finding a way home. He was tuning the channels until he landed on a strange looking woman who was asking about forming parties and going into that dungeon place.'

He thought about it for a moment and shrugged. Whatever, he figured it could prove entertaining.] I'm up for it if you're willing to take me on. Got nothing better to do.

[ Braga grinned back.]

Sure. What kinda skills do ya have?

[he tilted his head, smirk firmly in place.] Depends on what you want. But seriously, I'm a master gunblade wielder. I'm pretty nifty with fire spells and I can dance like nobody's business.

I'm sure your versatility will come in handy.

Oh definitely, lady. What about you though? Whatcha bring to the table?

An adventuring party, hm? Sounds pretty interesting, especially with someone as gorgeous as you.

Yep. I'm more of an axe kinda gal, but swords are good too.
