[The network feed kicks on, the face of a high school boy appearing on the screen. He looks rather down on his luck and hungry.]

"Uh, hey, uh... Genessia? Junpei here. I've been tryin'a get by with odd jobs here and there, but I want something more... me, ya know? Is there anyone hiring for a job?"

[He turns the camera away to sigh and groan off screen, even though the mic still works.]

"I just want something decent to eat. Man, this sucks..."

[ The video feed definitely tugs on her heartstrings, especially since she doesn't like seeing others so despondent. Hm... ]

Ah... Pardon me, sir. If I heard you correctly, you have not had a decent meal, correct?

[That face tugs on his heartstings. Hello there~ Junpei had to keep his game face on, though.]

"Uh, well, yeah. I mean, I can afford something to eat, but it's always instant noodles. I'm a growing boy still, I need meat!"

[ Soon, her expression turns into a bright smile, accompanied by a slight giggle. ]

Why did you not say so? I do not mind buying you healthier meals than instant noodles. In fact, I can make a few meals for you to freeze for later, too. What do you say?

[Junpei was left speechless for a moment.]

"Whoa... Seriously?"

"Sah-weet~! A home-cooked meal from a pretty girl! This is gonna be great!"

[At this rate, he won't need to find a job after all.]

[Puzzled]

"No I don't know. Something more 'you'? What does that mean?"

[Oh great, this guy again. Junpei hasn't forgotten the whole King Ted thing. Oh well, bygones be bygones.]

"By 'me' I mean... Back home, I fought monsters. That was my thing. The one thing I was really good at."

[C'mon Junpei, it was funny. Well, at least to him.]

"Huh! Your home must've been perilous. What did you fight them with? Guns?

In any case, I'm afraid our monsters aren't as clear-cut as that. Frustrating, I know." [Though if he wanted to keep in touch, Ted would totally invite once it came time to put a stake through Dracula. That guy had monsters to spare, all qualm-free.]

"An admirable skill in dangerous times. What about times of peace? What do you build up, when there aren't monsters to take down?"

[This is where it gets complicated.]

"With guns? Uh, well, kinda sorta."

[He'd rather not tell Ted what he uses his gun for. Then the subject of what he does when he's not fighting Shadows with the others.]

"And... I'm just a high school student. I go to school and just hang out with friends when it's not the Dark Hour."

" 'Just' a high school student? You say that like it's prosaic. It's a means; what end were you seeking?"

[That got him curious]

" 'Dark Hour'?"

I think it all depends on what you would consider you. You can then narrow it down by doing that.

I don't. I mean the only thing would be bounty hunting, but... that isn't always monsters. Usually people.

I could use some help at the book shop if you'd like. It doesn't have to be permanent if you don't like it but until you find something better you are welcome too.

[It sounds a little awkward when she says it like that but oh well.]

[A job working in a book store? He can barely set foot in a library. Or crack open a book for that matter.]

"Well, I dunno. I mean, what is it that you do in a book shop?"

[She doesn't mean to laugh but it's a little bit of an obvious question.]

We also have book hunters who are contracted out to find books. Which is a little more exciting.

"Well, Levy-san, I will take whatever job you have if it means I get'ta spend more time with ya~"

Well that depends on how these elections go.

[She needs more people at the shop because she's hardly there, however, if Ted doesn't win then she'll be around the shop more.]

[Yukiko gave pause for more than a minute trying to figure out where she recognised him from. His voice and face seemed awfully familiar. All the time she had been thinking the device had been on and upon realising she was quick to give a small bow.]

I'm sorry. But what type of work would you consider?

"Well, I fought monsters back where I came from."

[Junpei attempted to put on a air of macho bravado to try to impress this girl.]

"Yup, I was pretty badass then. Still am now, actually~ So, uh... Got any monster problems I can help take care of?"

Monsters... Do they happen to be called shadows?

[She recognised him and she had to guess from her world... So the logical thing to do was ask.]

There don't seem to be monsters at my inn, but I'll let you know. I guess until then there are places in Fayren that have something.

"Yes, but how would..."

[He went quiet for a moment.]

"Are you a Persona user also?"

[There was no way. Junpei has no idea who this girl is at all. Well, there might be a chance. Ikutsuki knew about Shadows and he couldn't summon a Persona.]

Yeah, there's a job centre in Genessia City - between Thistle Avenue and 22nd Street - where they've got postings up for what places are hiring. The newspaper's got a column with some of them too.
