While Petra had been out, the Mansion's living room has been decorated. There are several candles on the tables and on the windows. There are also flower bouquets on the tables that don't have candles, but the most attention goes to the big bouquet on the table that is light up with small led lamps.

Levi is dressed up in a suit as opposed to his normal clothes, waiting for her in the room. No light are on - all the light comes from the candles.

[ Marco's so nervous about keeping Petra distracted. she wanted to do something for his birthday last time, so he really wants to make it up to her. instead of waiting for her to even get remotely close to the mansion, he sends her a text asap ]

Petra, hey! Are you busy? Can you meet me in town? I've asked everyone but...they seem like they're busy... If you are too, that's okay.

Hello, Marco! I'm not busy at all and I'd be happy to meet you there! Give me 10 minutes, okay?

I was going to go by Pan's Grocery in Genessia to get a few things for the house but I wanted to see some of the other shops in town too.

[Armin hasn't seen Petra terribly much recently - he's been spending more and more time at work or working, ever since Sansa left. And it shows - he's looking paler and more gaunt, tired all the time, with dark circles around his eyes.

So it might come as a surprise when Armin approaches her that morning - and even more of a surprise when he's smiling, however wan or tired.]

Hey, Petra. Are you busy?

Well, this? Could all be listed as things Petra is not expecting to see today. Except the room itself and she was at least really hoping to see Levi too! She just -- the sight of the decorations and him in a suit makes her just stare at everything with eyes wide in obvious surprise.

Stay there, big bouquet, your turn to get her attention comes after she's done staring at Levi. That might take her a long while. Not like she's one to talk, when she's wearing a dress -- but Petra is always wearing a dress or a skirt if she's not wearing the clothes from home, so that's not a real surprise. Nothing compared to this at least!

"...I..." That's all he gets before she walks to him. Sorry, Mister Full Of Surprises, now she feels stupid for thinking he forgot her birthday.

[ When Levi asked Sertoria to guard the mansion during this time, she was more than happy to provide her services. She arrived pretty early in order to help out since she figured there was quite a bit to do to make this all perfect. As such, she brought over a few things and a couple of dishes for the party since she didn't want to arrive empty handed. ]

[Mikasa has been working hard on that cake that she was making for Petra. Thankfully with Levi's list of her favorites and a recipete to help her out if she really needed it, it was turning out great! With the cake almost ready, all that was left was to decorate it and put frosting on.]

After Petra has taken it all in for a while, Levi drops down to one knee. He isn't a man with very many words, but at least a gesture like this should be obvious enough. Once he's down, he takes something from his pocket before taking Petra's hand, looking her into her eyes.

"Petra Ral, will you make me the happiest by marrying me?" In his free hand there is a ring that he keeps visible at all times.

The gesture is enough to make it easy to guess what's coming next -- even if she almost doesn't dare to guess it as it's a long-time dream come true! And just that gesture, or maybe also the realization that comes with it, is enough to make Petra start the (happy/overjoyed!!) waterworks while she's also covering her mouth with her free hand.

Is the hand, that Levi is holding, shaking? Maybe a little while this whole situation feels unreal and she's just staring between Levi and the ring. ...Oh right, she should... Say something. But what?

"Yes!" As if she'd ever say no to that question. "Of course I will~. Nothing could make me happier." Except just being with him but you know, anyway.
