[ Alice so doesn't look so cool right now with her feet freezing off, so she avoids using video for now. She'll wait until she has some kind of intimidating background to up her street cred for video eventually... For now, she's okay with chastising her kidnappers with a heavy pout in her voice. ]

What kind of joke is it where you put new arrivals in the middle of a pond in winter so their pants freeze when they get out?! Do you hear that kidnappers? You need to rethink your methods!

[ SHE HAS VERY COLD CHEF PANTS RIGHT NOW. And has no explanation because Glory destroyed the hologram and the cold just honestly made her drop her pamphlet in the water, so she's given up and started wandering around in the snow. Alice is going around Genessia pressing her face on windows until someone lets her in out of the cold. ]

[Shiro clearly disapproves. Her expression turns determined.]

If Aceman finds the kidnappers, Miss can be sure they'll never do it again!

[Ryo might not be checking his device right now, if he had, he would have already been on his way there. Fortunately for Alice, though, Ryo was in his yellow food cart not far away from the Bay. The scent of his food cut through the cold air easily.]

Thank you for your business. [He spoke to a customer as he handed them their food so they could be off. His hot and spicy to-go ramen have been selling extremely well in this sort of weather. He was glad he made that change to the menu.]

Well the kidnappers never answer, however... I guess we do need to think to do something so new arrivals aren't cold. Do you think just having towels would be enough. I have my inn near by if you are still cold though for now.

I sadly do not think it is a joke. However it's never nice to be cold, so I'll always be happy to come fetch you and give you a nice hot cup of hot chocolate, or coffee. Whatever you prefer.

I know right, these kidnappers do not care for our needs and only care for whatever hell they want to put us though.

[ Alice is off trying to stare through some window to see if they'll open up and let her warm her feet when her nose catches something. A couple of sniffs with her eyes closed and.. wow, that smells familiar, even if the spices are different. Bold and full of fighting spirit... It couldn't be, could it?

Much like the infamous toucan, Alice followed her nose until it lead her to the source.

Instead of expressing something normal like her happiness to see a familiar face or even looking shocked, Alice sidled up to the side of the cart and smacked her hand down on his shoulder. ]

Look at you, cooking even when you've been kidnapped! Where did you get new pants without money? Don't tell me you've been cooking with wet pants... [ Alice is definitely looking down, expecting him to be soggy shoe'd. Someone really needs to explain her somethings.. ]

The bottoms of my pants are soaked and then I have to walk through this snow! You have an inn? Where is it?

[ Guess who literally walked the opposite way of the Welcoming Center and the Inn? This girl right here. Being a genius doesn't exclude you from dumb luck. ]

Freshly laundered pants would be preferable, but whichever of those drinks is of higher quality is fine.

How is that fair? I know they're kidnappers but at least they should be courteous ones. What's with the water, anyway? There aren't any fish in it or anything.

[At least that's what the original Aceman does. Wretched Egg kinda twisted that moral code a little over time but Shiro doesn't know that.]

[The moment he felt the hand on his shoulder, he looked up, prepared to give the person a death glare for touching him without permission. But that look instantly softened when he saw who it was that was touching him.]

..Alice? What... [When did she get here? What was she talking about kidnapped? Well..they were..kind of. But.]

Miss, when did you arrive? [He almost couldn't believe that she was here. Did he miss her? Honest, yes. Was he going to say that? No.] I have been here for five months.

[ The what and when questions were quickly decided irrelevant when Ryo said he'd been there for five months. Alice would inevitably answer them later, but the fact that he'd said five months was more than a distraction from his inquiries. He had to be screwing with her, but he didn't really look like it. ]

Your joking's taking a pretty ridiculous direction, Ryo.

[ Even so, she says it much more seriously than the teasing that it sounds like. Mostly because she gets the feeling he's not joking... ]

I don't have any more, the kidnappers didn't pack me a bag!

[ Aceman sounds to Alice like someone who should've been around when Erina was taking her stuff and telling her that her cakes sucked when she was a kid, honestly. ]

Aceman must not be very good if he hasn't stopped these kidnappers. Anyway- where are we?

Can you put directions from where I am? A street address doesn't help me at all.

[ She turns the video to show some local shops- obviously like 4 or 5 blocks from the Bay in the opposite direction. Who gave this girl the bright idea that being lost meant you should pick a direction and roll with it? ]

I wish that I were, Miss. And i wish that was the strangest thing about this place. But I have really been here for that long. That is why I have this setup. [He's starting to close down shop now, though.]

I will take you to get new clothes.

[ That made a lot more sense than him mysteriously cooking in a strange land. This wasn't Alice in Wonderland after all, this was Alice and her Aide Take Over the Cooking World. Though that story seems to have taken a pretty strange turn itself.. ]

You're so dedicated even after five months. [ She's whapping him on the shoulder again, though much more gently this time. It's like an affection smack. ] Though I wouldn't expect any less from the person I chose to follow me!

[ She wonders if he's really okay not serving though, but it was his idea. And she's pretty sure her feet are going to fall off if she doesn't get some dry snowboots. ]

We should get matching outfits. You need something much more intimidating than that. Maybe we should get you a biker coat. How much money do you have?

[ Even if she was talking like nothing was wrong, honestly? This scared her. She was probably on the verge of crying the second he said no to her over something. There's something in her eyes that clearly says 'spoil me or else' right now. ]

Most of my hot drinks are of the best quality. As for pants, I always tend to keep spare clothes at my cafe because people tend to stay in the back for one reason or another.

You would think right? As for the water, I don't have a single clue. It's just stupid.

I can come to you and bring a map instead if that helps?

[She has some idea of where she is, but since the other looks like she clearly needs a map she figured she can bring hers and show her in person.]

That's because they're just bullies.

[She frowns as the girl pretty much insults both her and her childhood hero at the same time. But she's been kidnapped so, she must still be in shocked.]

Aceman can't be everywhere at the same time. Genessia is a very big place, a lot bigger than Deadman Wonderland.

[Alice, please allow Shiro to confuse you some more.]

[And he kind of expected that question. He calculates exactly how much in his mind, but he filters that out so he can answer.]

I have enough for you to get an outfit. It's more important for you to have something warm to wear. Once we get you something, I will take you to my apartment and explain this place to you. [Because there was no sense in dragging her all the way to his place while she was in wet clothes.]

[Dining out has never really been Troy's thing. It's not that he hated it, it's just hard to find a restaurant that offered healthy food. It sucks that he has to abstain from the good stuff all the time except for certain days, but that's the price of having physical abilities at the peak of human capabilities. Gotta maintain it with proper diet. So he's understandably a little bummed on having to setting for some turkey sandwich wraps for the millionth time.

Troy sat by the window of the restaurant, reading a digital copy of a magazine article while eating. Just as he makes another bite he hears something press against the glass window behind him. A teenage girl? In a chef's outfit? That certainly made him pause and look at Alice like what the hell is she doing? Slowly, he extends his arm, lightly poking the glass her face was pressing on]

[ She's not used to being this confused. She fancies herself a genius, but. You know. In science and cooking school. ]
