Action

When: Noon, December 12th
Where: In front if the K&H Home for Children
Who: Anastasia and Open to All

[While she was mildly, yet reasonably freaked out when the decorations appeared around the children's home, Anastasia managed to ignore all that since she really has no idea what it all was.

Instead, her mind was on one thing. She emerged from the children's home and out into the snowy world. Anyone who saw Anastasia at this point might think she was asking for some punishment with how she looks to still be dressed for late summer and early autumn. And yet, the smile on her lips and the look in her eyes would suggest a snowy world is where she belonged.

Anastasia peered around slowly, thinking of the beautiful country she was snatched away from and thankful for this world for reminding her of what was left behind. Though, while she stands among the snow falling around her, looking completely fine despite her dress, she thinks about how she wants to share this time with her friends. Being alone at the moment, she opts in to sing a song of her people, all though she had no training.]

[Belle is currently wondering around, arms wrapped around her torso for a moment moment as she walked. It wasn't that she was cold it was just she didn't have anything to carry for the moment. Taking a few more steps she soon found herself stopping as she could see or at least hear the person. She could hear the song and she just wanted to stand there and listen if for a moment.]

That's a very lovely song.

[The young girl suddenly stopped the moment she heard another voice. She didn't expect anyone to be out here in the snow. She soon found the source and quickly grew bashful when she realized she heard her singing, and Anastasia would agree it's a lovely song. She doesn't, however, think she sang it very well.]

"...Thank you. It's a folk song from my country." [And a brief pause.] "...My name is Anastasia. Why are you walking around in the cold?"

I guess everyone has that little reminder of home. Be it an object or even a song. It's nice.

[She moved her arms down so that they were at her sides.]

My name is Belle and I'm in the cold because I'm heading to work.

[Anastasia dipped into a curtsy.] "It is nice to meet you, Belle."

[She returned to a normal posture.] "You are going to work? Where do you go to work?"

I work at the library.

[She gestured toward the direction he was going to in order to get to her place of work, all the while she had a small smile.]

Have you been there yourself?

[Anastasia looked to where Belle pointed for a moment before looking back to the woman.]

"I have been to Scribes & Scripts in Fayren. But not any library here in Genessia."

Well if you are ever interested it's down that way. But I know of the bookshop you are on about at least. Has a lot of books, but the library has a bigger variety and I found books from my own world, which is always a nice thing to have.

[She wondered if the other had fund anything like that.]

Have you tried looking for books from your world?

[Anastasia grew excited when she heard this. She wonders how such a thing was possible, but does know this would make sharing her culture easier. Among other things.]

"I have not. What books would I likely find? Could I find historical documents of what will happen in the future?"

I think out of everything history books are not a thing I've discovered.

[And any she might find which was mostly on this city they seem to be cut off.]

I could be wrong, but I can keep looking.

[If history books of all things are going to be absent, then maybe...]

"W-What about books on cultures and traditions by nation?"

I believe there could be something along those lines.

[She figured she would have to look and that might take a while.]

I would need to look and find out however.

"Will you please look into it for me, Miss Belle? Pretty please?"

[Anastasia put on her most charming smile in an attempt to persuade Belle, even if it seemed unnecessary.]

I was going to anyway, but since you asked so nicely I'll at least try you back.

[Besides she is looking through most books anyway and sorting out certain things after all.]

Do you happen to know of titles of books from your world?

[Anastasia shook her head.]

"Not by heart. But if you see any titles that have the name 'Nevus' on it, it's about my world."

Okay, so looking for book that might have the word Nevus.

[She gives a small nod for a moment and figured she should get on with it soon.]

What will you be doing now?

"That's right. Thank you, Miss Belle."

[Upon the question, Anastasia lightly shrugged.]

"I think it would be best if I stayed close to the home. While my people are made for this weather, I should not be wandering around on my own."

I see. if that is what you plan to do, I should bid you farewell. At least until I check the library for any books for you.

[She went to walk past her before turning her head to look back.]

I'll get back to you as soon as possible. [She didn't have much left to say as she headed off.]

[Fai had been looking for Anastasia lately to finish of something he had been trying to do. When he sees her he can't help but wave as he walked on over.]

Hey, I guess you are really use to the weather. Even though I am, I don't think I could pull off what you are doing.

[And he knew if Sakura saw her she would worry.]

[Anastasia stopped singing when she heard a familiar voice. Finding the source to be Mister Fai, she smiled and dipped into a curtsy.]

"Good day, Mister Flourite." [She rose back to a casual posture.] "My people evolved for this weather. The snow is where we are strongest."

[She tilted her head inquisitively at Fai when she noted Sakura wasn't with him.] "What brings you to the children's home? Is Sakura well?"

So the cold is where you are use to living. Kind of like me really. Except I didn't adapt like that.

[Still he didn't wear as many layers now as others. With his arms by his side he figured this would be the easiest question he's had to answer.]

Sakura is fine and busy... Can't say if she is at the cafe or in Everglade though. But I came here to see you about the thing we talked about a short while back. I'm trying to figure out the best meeting spot, so having your opinion as to where the meeting should take place would be most helpful.

[Meeting a dragon still makes her nervous, but she is a big girl and won't let things bigger than her intimidate her. Assuming, of course, if the dragon was really that much bigger than her.]

"W-Well, I suppose anywhere big enough for a dragon would do."

[Before the conversation continued, she interrupted with a question of her own.]

"Um, Mister Flourite? Has Sakura ever spoken to you about me...coming to work for you and Sakura at the Cat's Eye cafe?"

Since it's cold everywhere it would matter the city... So Fayren, okay? You don't have to worry though, I'll being Sakura with me.

[He had heard something about it now he thinks about it.]

I believe she had mentioned something along those lines. I assume if you are still interested it would be as a waitress.

[Anastasia wouldn't want to go to Fayren after what happened.]

"Okay... Fayren it is, but only if I do go alone."

[She smiled in response to what Fai said.]

"Yes, Sir. If I understand it right, being a waitress is like being a princess. It was my job to be there for the people."

[Plus, the cute uniform is a added bonus.]

So you want to go by yourself? I guess that would be okay?

[He laughed slightly.]

Call me Fai, please. Saying Sir makes me feel really old and I guess it is similar, but then again I wouldn't really know what being a princess is like.

(ooc: That was supposed to be "don't go alone." I was auto corrected by my tablet and I missed it.)

"No, I think it's better if I don't go alone..." [She paused on Fai's little request.]
"You are with Sakura and you don't know what being a princess is like? Well, I can try to call you Fai, Sir, but it's not that easy for me.

And, I hope you can give me your answer on the waitress job, soon. I really want to be active again."

Okay, just checking. As for Sakura-chan, I don't see her as a princess, I just see her as Sakura-chan. So when I say I don't know, that's the reason. Each princess might be different after all. I've never really served any myself though before Sakura-chan.

[Fai only gave it a moment before he spoke again.]

Since you asked the answer would obvious be it's okay to work for the cafe. I wouldn't turn any one down.

[Anastasia would agree to that. She met another princess in her world and she was far from being a paragon of honor and modesty.

Hearing Fai say yes to her being a waitress made her quite happy.]

"Thank you, Sir Fai. I promise to do my best to serve the people." [A brief pause...] "Umm... When do I begin?"

You can begin whenever you want, although I guess I should really sort out your uniform first before then.

[Since he needs to get that sorted and he knows that might take a while, even if it wasn't him making them sometimes.]

"All right. Where do we go and what do we do to prepare a uniform?"

[She won't mind if it takes time, all that matters is it will happen.]

Well in this case you will need go to a female tailor to get you measured, unless you know your measurements exactly. After that i's a simple case of working on the outfit either myself or someone else depending on time.

[Because he was unsure how much time he might have right now.]

[She certainly doesn't know her measurements. She always tuned out the numbers whenever she modeled for new dresses.]

"I will need to find a tailor, then. I do not know where to find one, though."

Well I can help you there since I send Sakura to one when I need to make a new waitress outfit.

[Because sometimes he isn't sure if the measurements have changed or something. Best to be safe than sorry.]

Do you want the address or for me to show you?

[She was caught between two choices. She is fine with either.]

"Well... If you don't have to be somewhere soon, maybe you can show me the way? That way, you can also tell me about what I should do as a waitress."

There isn't much you can do as a waitress, just be polite and write down orders. Though sometimes you will be asked what you think of certain items, so I'll make sure t give you the menu for you to try when you can.

[That way at least the opinion is genuinely honest.]
