FORWARD DATED: Dec. 23rd: Christmas Party & Cheer: OPEN

[ooc: Feel free to make top posts! Levy's invited her friends but its more or less an open invitation. Come crash a party~ She'll also send another message and directions before the party]

[Levy goes above and beyond to make this party amazing. She has even hired someone to cater it which she is thankful for because her skills with cooking usually extend to reading directions and boiling water. She makes sure to have a mixture of drinks both alcoholic and not, very much the Fairy Tail idea of a party. Of course there are decorations all over the outside and inside of the house and a few sprigs of mistletoe that wait unsuspecting in doorways to ensnare guests. Of course kisses on the hand and cheek count just as much as kisses on the lips.

Knowing that the house might be to small Levy's set up a fire pit outside, allowing people to enjoy the warmth of the flame while surrounded by the cold air. The party is scheduled into the evening and eventually stars will dot the blanket of dark that covers the night sky. Levy has also planned fireworks which can't possibly go wrong!

Holiday music plays inside mostly from a CD that she bought and people are welcome to dance if they want to. Most of the songs are slower though there are a few quick ones in the mix. She set up a few games hoping that it was enough to keep everyone happy and entertained. She might be trying a little to hard for things to go well.

In the main room there is a large excellently decorated tree. Beneath it Levy has put her gifts to her friends. It's definitely worth checking out however everyone will discover they got books for Christmas. They all suit who they are address to but they are books with a card tapped to the brightly colored wrapping that expresses holiday greetings. A few of her close friends have special gifts though Levy has them stashed away for later.]

GETTING READY
[That morning Levy will be getting ready for the party. She's had more than a few people who offered to help and so she leaves the door open. Right now she's trying to move around furniture so that more people can fit. Only Levy is small and the couch is really big. Should anyone walk in at that moment they will find the thin bookworm pushing on the back of the couch which doesn't seem to want to budge. Her feet move across the floor and it looks a little hopeless.

Eventually she just falls across the couch with an aggravated huff.]

Why is this so hard!!

[Annoyed yelling renews her strength and she continues tackling the couch.]

PARTY
[Levy can be found all over the party and because of the spontaneous decorations she doesn't know where all those pieces of mistletoe have hidden. As she makes sure that everything is running smoothly she can easily be caught in the little plants snare.

Otherwise she's making sure that everyone is having a good time. Eventually she takes a break, breathes, grabs a drink and walks around to say hello to her friends and point out the gifts she had stowed beneath the tree.

She'll make her way outside towards the end of the party and see about these fireworks that she had managed to procure. She hopes Natsu stays long enough to give her a hand with them though she can probably do it herself if need be.]

Ted really wanted to focus on the party. But there were a few landmines to walk around. One was Lucy, whom for Levy's sake he must tenderly try to avoid meeting at all costs. Then there's the mistletoe, which might unleash Maria on him at any moment. Two kisses are two too many.

Then there's the election, something that clouded his thoughts and made him a little less into the holiday spirits than usual. But only a little! He'd still play games and dance the night away, and chat up his pals.

Oh, good luck with that couch Levy, you strong independent woman you. Call for help if you need it!

[Anastasia had arrived early because she has high hopes that this holiday won't be a disaster like the one before. She dressed in a green Santa-style dress, and Santa-style boots, and hair decorated with white and green ribbons. She has a very strange avoidance issues with red, apparently.

As she arrived at Levy's place, and heard all the grunting from physical labor, all the young girl could do was quietly stare in hopelessness as the poor woman failed to make the couch move. Anastasia knew she wouldn't be of much use, she was younger than Levy, after all.]

[Terra doesn’t often leave the flower shop. Tonight she’s here by Ronans request as well as a few others who insisted she leave her house more often. When her friend walks away Terra remains against the wall trying to stay out of the way. She isn’t used to parties like this and while she can participate she’d rather spend her time watching people as they enjoy themselves.

Her arms cross over her waist as her back presses lightly against the wall. It’s warm inside but it isn’t uncomfortable. There is a light smile spreading across Terra’s lips. She doesn’t look upset or uncomfortable; merely content.]

[Levy can feel Anastasia's stare on her as she continues her battle against the couch. She looks over, a few strands of blue fall into her view. She quickly pushes her hair out of the way and back behind her ear.]

Oh! Anastasia!

[She smile's brightly and straightens up with a slight blush across her cheeks.]

You're early.

[She isn't to worried about the couch. If worse comes to worse she'll ask David for help.]

[ Olivia had a lot on her mind. Enough that she had considered not showing up to the Christmas party at the house of two people she knew. The host of the party, whom she had spoken to briefly, and the person who was unarguably her best friend in Genessia. The excuse of being mute was gone with her last meal, which made the fact that her testing was going about as well as she expected it to a little unnerving.

Which probably explains why she's managed to down three glasses of champagne like a frat boy at a house party. If she's tipsy, she probably won't have to deal with it. At least there are no actual frat boy brains involved. She managed to find something much less impactful for the occasion. Granted, the brain she was on also meant that she looked amazing in her dress since she had to look good for all the selfies she was taking. Overall, Liv thought she was doing well. She managed to only retake that last one seven times before being satsifed(ish).

...Maybe she should take it again. The glow of the firepit did make her complexion look slightly more alive--

..Yeah she's just staring off into space for a second now. Interrupt her, maybe? ]

[ With all the hubbub about the elections, one would think Weiss would want to relax instead of go to a party. But no, now was exactly the time to mingle. The time to show that despite the odd accusations and the difficulties this election had brought about, she was still the same old Weiss and would continue to be as professional and well-adjusted(ish) as always.

Eeeven if that means intensively avoiding mistletoe throughout the night. After a narrow miss, she nearly bumps into someone behind her. ]

Well that was close. Sorry, it was an emergency.

[ It was a little bittersweet to be celebrating the holidays without her family and friends back home, but Sertoria decided to not let it weigh too heavily on her mind right now. Today was a joyous day and meant to be a good time overall. She was wearing a longer robe today due to the chill in the air. On her feet, she still had her same pair of sandals that she came here with. Along with her, she decided to drag a couple of people with her to join in with the festivities.

For now, she can be found talking with people, being a wallflower and conveniently avoiding the mistletoe. Occasionally, she's staring outside the window as if in thought. Don't mind her, she's just missing a couple of people close to her back home. ]

[David places a hand lightly on her shoulder as he comes to her side.]

So was your aim tonight to look insanely gorgeous or was that something that happened by mistake?

[Sertoria invited Levi, who is engaged to this so called angel -- so of course Petra is here because Levi asked her to come with him.

She'll be avoiding the mistletoes as much as she can, the ring on her finger might explain why though seeing some kisses on hand or cheek under it calm her down some. That'd be fine. But anyone trying on lips? Never unless you are Levi since everyone else would have to deal with her fierce temper for even trying.

The things that she's not avoiding at all? Dancing with anyone; it can be slow or fast, the pace of the songs doesn't seem to be a problem to this very good dancer. She'll also be politely tasting just about everything there is to eat and she's drinking both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Of course she's everywhere being social, cheerful and friendly to everyone while she keeps looking extremely easily approachable. Yes, even while she's somewhere with Levi, who always looks like the exact opposite of Petra. Maybe she'll play games too, who knows.

Toward the end of the party she's walking to Levi again, ignoring everyone else this time and planning to watch the (possible?) fireworks with him.]

[Often not used to being in crowds, let alone with people she rarely speaks with, it was odd to find her there but, there she was.

Hanging near the wall and dressed in simple white and black dress with her bow still covering her ears, hiding them from the world, Blake glances from person to person, keeping keen eyes on some people she had witnessed on the network and putting names to faces.

She still didn't know much about the Holiday but she was still hoping to try and give it a shot and enjoy herself. At least the atmosphere was warm and bright.]

[Anastasia smiled back at Levy as she takes a few more steps towards Levy.]

"I got restless and wanted to come early. Was I not supposed to be this early?"

[While Yukiko felt a little odd at actually going to a party that wasn't just a friendly get together. However Yukiko made sure she wore a nice little red dress for the occasion. She even went as far as to style her hair instead of the usual hair style of down straight with her red band. Instead it was up in a bun with some strands of her free at the front and down her cheeks.

Looking around, her hand lightly clasping a purse bag she brought with her she was going to try and enjoy herself in anyway possible and to start with, she was going to be holding a glass of some kind of alcoholic drink in her hand.]

[Anastasia was quietly sitting in a corner away from others, curled up with a book to try to better understand this holiday. She was wearing a green Santa-style dress, matching boots, with her hair decorated in green ribbons. It was apparent she was trying to avoid red for some reason.

Every once in awhile, she would peek up from her book to see what was going on around her, but beyond that, she remained where she was in her own little corner.]

[Belle was keeping to herself for the most part. Since she came out of the Dream Docks a couple days ago she had been quiet and rather upset to an extent. But she had her reasons and tonight she was simply going to try her best and be happy, or try anyway and simply try and move forward.

Sitting with a non alcoholic drink she let it sit on her lips for even a brief moment and on the odd occasion found herself under the mistletoe. If and when she figured it out she was always quick to move however. Her dress was simple as was her hair, which she felt was enough anyway.]

[Junpei arrives to the party, not spectacularly dressed for the Christmas party, but at least he arrived wearing something. He wore a simple Christmas lights necklace and, under his school's jacket, wore a shirt of Santa Clause wearing shades, words reading 'Yo yo yo' over head.

The Gekkoukan High student merely peered around the room at all of these gorgeous ladies in gorgeous dresses, trying to decide who he should chat up, and later, if he gets lucky, lures one under a mistletoe.]

[Levy shakes her head with a warm smile.]

Nah, it's okay.

[She'll leave the couch there for now. Her hand runs through her hair as she smooths out her dress.]

Do you mind lending a hand though? [She waves a hand with the couch.] Not with the couch but I need to get plates out and a few other other thing.

[Levy also has to quickly change into her Christmas Outfit.]

[Anastasia smiled brightly when asked.]

"I would be happy to help. Just tell me where to go and where to place them."

[Nagisa thought he might as well have a wonder, try and meet some new people and come up with new nicknames for them. It all seemed fun after all and the food looked nice. So did the drinks as he tried his best not to pick up the wrong one. He skimmed around the room, the hat that was apart of his outfit was frmly on his head as he walked to others, all the while a smile upon his face.]

Hello~

We are having a buffet set up so they just need to be placed at the end of the counter with some forks.

[There is mostly finger food but she knows that some people prefer to have utensils.]

I'll be back in 5 minutes.

[Her room is just around the corner and her outfit is already picked out.]

[That sounded easy enough. While Levy was away, Anastasia collected the plates first, in small bundles so she doesn't overwhelm herself and tries to decide which end would be better.

She picked a table corner and built two stacks of plates, each stack ending up no taller than she was. Next, the utensils. She simply left a small organized bin of them next to the plates. Anastasia quietly waited for Levy to return.

[Anastasia had gotten up to move around. Sitting quietly and reading was tiring work. As she was stretching her legs, she suddenly heard someone behind her. In her haste to see who it was and get out of their way, she accidentally trips herself in these awkward boots. She dropped the book she had been carrying as she fell onto her backside.]

"Ow, ow, ow..."

[ What's a better way to get to know people around here than going to a party? Hikaru decided to dress in a suit with a pair of flats. She decided to keep her hair up in its' high ponytail for tonight's event.

She's going to enjoy herself as much as possible and try to make even more friends and allies here. Beyond that, she's just happy to be around others in a festive mood. ]

Need a hand? [As promised, Allen would arrive a few hours early to have time to prep up some plate-bound Christmas cheer for the party guests, having gotten even more ideas since the planning phase with Levy, but he restrained himself... though he was going to bake at least a FEW cookies. Gripped in four of his hands (of which there were six hands to six arms right now, a minor display of shapeshifting he likely showed off back when he was showing off the dinner ideas to Levy) were two to three recyclable/reusable bags, the kind you buy at grocery stores so you don't have to buy plastic bags. In his main pair of hands, a pot in which he was already stewing a previously prepared serving of Dongpo, just needing to sit on a stove to continue simmering at that point.]

[In order to help her out, the man with a red rudolph nose over his own delicately set down the bags and the pot and set to finessing the couch, asking...] Anywhere in particular you want this?
