 Hello everyone. I'll be quick and let you get back to enjoying the season. 

With regards to the necromancy ban, I've been talking with my team, and we've decided that going cold turkey was a touch extreme. However harmful the practice was to Everglade as a whole, it's clear now that a stroke so broad isn't a practical solution. Thus, going forward, we'll strive to work with magical and cultural experts to determine what limits to set. These include the authorities of the Ivory Tower as well as those like the mayor of Everglade.

He slumped down into his chair. That was hard to do for him. One, it was concise. Two, it came entirely from without, and he wondered if it made him look indecisive. Three, it was a 'practical' thing to do, which always irritated him. It had none of the swagger and charm of romantic idealism. Four, it concerned him strategically. A moderate candidate already existed in the likes of Fai, so it was possible this would actually lose more supporters than it gained. Finally, he got the dark impression that he was a day late and a dollar short. He really wished his deputies would've brought this up sooner.

But as always, Ted followed his rules. He knew that fairy tale guests must do what they're told. If he's being told to ease up without, necessarily, abandoning his dogma, he would. Ted just prayed he was doing the right thing.

He's been getting a lot of guff from her lately, Ted thought. Must be trying to keep him on his toes. He looked up, quizzically.

"Well, I said it, didn't I?"

She only guffs because she cares, Ted.

"Yes, you did." She smiled and went back to her desk.
