Two Idiots Wake Up | Accidental Video | spoiling content under tl;dr
[ It was rather unusual to wake up in a place such as this, and to boot, so cold as well. Green eyes snapped open as Eren woke with a start upon hearing the running water in the bay. This... Where exactly was this? He knew from the start that it wasn't home, so then where? Did he get kidnapped and placed in...whatever the thing was that he was laying in? His fingers ran through his hair as he gently sat up, making sure to catch the box that was formerly resting on him. He glanced around, using one of his arms to wrap around him, feeling a shiver race down his spine.
Where was this? More importantly, where was he? However, he took notice that another of the pods was opening the same time that his was and he glanced over at it, wondering what or who it could be. A hand went for the hilt of his 3DMG, resting near him just in case if he needed it. ]
Who...?
[ See, Connie is a bit sluggish about his waking up. It takes him a moment to acclimate to his surroundings when the first thing he wants to do is roll over and go back to sleep. Not who, where, and what is going on.
Just.. five more minutes. That's all he wants.
Except as he grabs for a blanket to pull over him, he realizes there isn't one. Just a thing on his chest and open air. Now is about the time he bolts upright, eyes looking around (because what the hell is going on?!) and finds another pod.
Wait. Wait. Calm down, Connie. Nothing's worse than titans trying to eat you. ]
The hell is going on here?
[ Wait a second, that voice sounds familiar. Eren took the moment to brush the sleep away from his eyes, squinting so as to see who the person was that was talking.
Wait a second-- ]
Connie? Is that you?
[ If it was, then Eren felt a little bit better about the circumstances he found himself in. ...Slightly, of course. ]
Eren?
[ His hands press against the edge of the pod he was in as he turns to actually find his friend. There's relief. That's one less thing he has to think about. He looks around for everyone else and doesn't see anyone. Just Eren and himself. Floating and...
Yeah. He's just not going to think about that part for a sec. He can't even begin to wrap his head around where the hell they are. ]
Did you just wake up too?
[ A grin surfaces to his face when his question's answered and he relaxes slightly, sighing in relief. How great was it to know that there was someone else from home in the same predicament he was in? ]
Yeah, I did. I don't know if the others are here or not, though.
[ It's a sobering thought, that's for sure. Eren's hoping like hell that Mikasa and Armin are okay, same as the rest of the Survey Corps members. ]
Are you okay?
[ He realizes it's not an easy question to answer, considering their current circumstances, but it can't hurt to ask, right? ]
[ The others... That shakes some of the fog away and gets the cogs moving. He thinks back to the tower rooftop, holding Christa back so she didn't fall, and knowing that at any moment they were probably going to die. ]
Yeah, but I must have been knocked out or something. Unless we're dead and this is what the afterlife looks like?
[ Which is weird, because his head doesn't hurt and he doesn't really believe they're dead. In fact, he's reaching up to check for bumps and nope. Just the peach fuzz of his hair.
Then it hits him. Nice reflexes, right? ]
Hey, wait a sec. You weren't with us!
[ Dead? Afterlife? Eren's brows are tightly knitted with concern, his mouth slightly agape. Just what was Connie talking about? Last he remembers, he was fine and so was he. It was more than confusing, that's for sure. ]
What are you talking about? Last I remember, everyone was okay back home.
Are you kidding me, man? Maybe it's cause you weren't with us, but the last thing I remember, it was looking like Reiner, Bertolt, Christa, Ymir and I were gonna die. Except Ymir shifted into a titan and was fighting the titans swarming us.
[ Which only belatedly he realizes probably sounds like a load of horse shit considering Eren really wasn't there. Connie wouldn't even believe himself if he hadn't been there. Who would have thought, another shifter in their midst and no one knew.
But right about now is when he's grabbing whatever the hell had fallen into his lap and starts climbing out of the pod. ]
[ ...Yep. That all just totally didn't make sense to him, however what he picked up on was Ymir. Yet another Titan shifter? Just how many of them were there? It doesn't sit well with Eren and he sits there for a few seconds in quiet contemplation of what he just heard. It's enough to get him to be silent, which is rather uncharacteristic. ]
...I wonder how many others there are that we don't know about.
[ His memory snaps back to the box he had in his arms and he carefully opens it, seeing the pamphlet, walkie-talkie and necklace included. What the hell was all this? Genessia? That's where they were? ]
Did you get the same stuff I did?
Hell if I know, and I don't really care as long as they're with us.
[ Not that Annie was or anything. He's still not sure about Ymir, either.
His feet slosh into the water, not really caring that his shoes get wet. And only once Eren mentions anything does Connie actually open the box to look at what was inside. He reads the pamphlet real quick and his confusion is higher as well and--

This is kinda cool!
[ Cue grinning and awkward angles up Connie's nose as he moves the walkie around to see how the thing works. ]
[ A nod and Eren follows suit soon, stepping into the water with him similarly not caring that he's getting his feet wet. He blinks, deciding to test the videophone out himself. He, too, is pressing buttons and experimenting on how to make the device work without actually conferring with the pamphlet they were given. Oops. He's unaware that the both of them are recording the same thing at the same time. ]
Hey, I think I see something down there. We should check it out.
[ He points over to the light at the end of the cave, making sure to put on his 3DMG just in case if they need it. ]

...Or that gear could also belong to a new arrival but the thought doesn't cross her mind until she sees them. She never expects any of them to show up, hoping for it is an entirely different thing than getting all her hopes up that one day anyone from that Squad wakes up in this place.
So when Connie and Eren walk from the cave, Petra is just staring at Eren as if he can't possibly be real. That's very nice from a dead woman, right??]
