2ND FALLEN PETAL 🌹 VIDEO/TEXT/ACTION
Video
[Ib's face is calm and her mask is gone. Most likely not everyone will remember her from her threats earlier in the month. Either way she's here as a seemingly innocent soul to sort of apologize. She has her own plans in motion but with an alternate Garry and Ib here she's moving slower than she originally intended which means she has to attempt to gain friends.
A well practiced smile played across her lips a she spoke.]
Hello Genessia. I'm Ib, I haven't introduce myself before so I thought I'd get that out of the way. Oh! I might look familiar because my younger counterpart is wandering around.
[There is over a 10 year age difference but she doesn't want to be mistaken for the other.]
Anyway I got a job at The Dancing Donner in Fayren as a bartender. I used to bartend in the city so it's more of what I'm used too even. It would be great if people could stop by and say hello.
[With that the feed clicks off.]

Oh and for the anonymous admirer who got me the roses... it's sweet but I don't much care for roses anymore.
It's complicated.
Action
[Somehow being behind the polished bar is comforting. There is a space between her and everyone else that most don't dare to cross. Ib's wearing a
black corset dress and a pair of high boots that match. A loose chain is tied around her center with a ruby red rose made of glass dangling at its end. A pendant rests on her collar bone while bracelets jingle at her wrists. Her very long dark brown hair is tied up though it still manages to fall down to her waist.
She flashes a smile at the partons of the bar working fluidly like she's done this a hundred times before. It's her job and despite anything else she enjoys it.]
What can I get for you?
[Her smile is wide and her red eyes shine brilliantly in the lighting. At least while she's working she can forget the painting and the horror that continue to haunt her.]

[There is an awkward pause and then a soft sigh.]
I'll be working nights so make sure that Garry isn't alone. okay? We might be able to find you a school here or something.
[That's what kids do right? Ib doesn't really remember since she is a highschool drop out.]

Is there something wrong with being a girl and serving alcohol?
[She knows that she's small but she's at least old enough to serve liquor.]
no subject
Do girls like alcohol? Well, I mean sure I've seen Samus in Tappers now and then but she's kind of the exception.
no subject
From my experience, yes.
[At least at the Jagged Thorn which is where she worked before coming to Genessia.]
I obviously can't really drink while I'm working.

ACTION!
"In fact, why don't you just leave the bottle, and a glass...?"
She had quite a lot to drink to, after all-- to forget about, perhaps more importantly: such as the damned elections, and how she was going to be out of a job within the next couple of days, when the new Guardian took over the office.
ACTION!
"How about you tell me what's wrong instead of me just giving you the bottle?"
ACTION!
"Well... Okay, maybe I'm just a touch depressed over losing my job, already! I mean, seriously: I've been here maybe two months in this job, and it's already going-- POOF!" She flicks her fingers into the air, to demonstrate how quickly the job had disappeared upon her, after presenting itself as a bloody opportunity to "Help the People of Everglade!"™
(Damn you, Teddy, for presenting such an opportunity, and then -- not doing enough to actually keep the job for her!) "And-- and it was such a good job, too-- only one level below the actual Guardian's salary, y' know...?"
She snorted lightly, as she realised that she was about to spill all her problems to the barkeep-- including the problem of her empty bed and her unrequited crush on her (now-ex-) boss. "Oh, just give me the bottle, why don't you? I can still pay of course, because I've been very careful about my money... And look, you have other customers to get to!" She pointed across the bar, at some undetermined spot, where there might have been another patron, or maybe it was just someone standing there, ogling the bar wench...
ACTION!

He smiles as he slides up to the bar to answer her question.]
Mead, if you have it.
( action )
Here ya go. Anyone else with you or are you on your own tab tonight?
[She flashes him a beautiful smile as she asked her seemingly harmless question.]
( action )
Just me, but I'm not one who forgets my debts.

Uh, what do you recommend?
Action
For you? Beer, stout.
[She pauses and glances over to see what's on tap.]
We have a nice stout in honor of the winter.
[Ib smiles brightly up at him, her thin fingers lightly flicking hair out of her face.]
