[David starts up the video feed. He has a couple of things to say, so he tries not to waste any time in getting to his points.]

So, a few orders or business.

I'm happy to be serving another term as Guardian of Genessia City. I will do my best to live up to what is expected of me in this job. And I would like to thank my Deputy Guardian for nominating me for another term. Thank you to the wonderful Mikasa for nominating me. If I was allowed to raise your pay, I would.

Second order of business. I have established a branch of my business here in Genessia City. Holodeck’d is a training simulator in Nova City that uses hardlight holograms to simulate any number of situations. The new branch will be established here in Genessia City and it is called Holodeck’d Version 2 or HV2 for short. It’s open for business. There are 4 individual training rooms that are open to the public with 2 more private rooms for rent. It is pay to use, unless you are like Aqua and you are training people, then it is free to use.

Third order of business. I have expanded the Police Force in Genessia City. It has always had police officers but they weren’t really..you know..great at their jobs. And they weren't really numerous. So more officers have been hired on and a new Station for them is now around. [He turns the device to show it.] There are more jail cells and they are reinforced against even those with super strength.

GCPD also has new badges. [He shows one.] Gestalt members also have badges as well. [He shows one.] The police force is its own thing, so don't always expect them to want to share information pertaining to certain cases. At least not until a relationship is built with them. I've vouched for Gestalt members, for as much as that might do.

A full-fledged Prison will be around shortly too. One capable of holding super powered people. Hopefully that place won’t get much use, but better to have it and not need it and what not.

So. Questions, concerns, comments. I’m all ears if anyone has any.

[Kahlan is getting used to life here though being in Fayren makes it easier since it's more like than Midlands than the other Archways. When the screen flicks on there is a pause as if she's checking it and then she begins to speak.]

Hello. I don't think we've met but I wanted to know more about this prison you're designing. You said it can hold those with magical power? How is that possible?

[There is a slight pause.]

Also why not kill those who are so evil that they put others lives at risk?

I'm trying to design it so that it can. I can probably tell you more on how it's possible once I have everything for it in place. I don't think it will be impregnable or inescapable, but I'll try my best to get it along those lines.

As for why not kill them. Two reasons. One, I'm no executioner, and I think that would be pretty extreme. Reason two, when someone is killed here, they just come back to life. So it would be pointless.

[Kahlan looks very thoughtful for a moment.]

I guess what I mean to ask is... will you be able to suppress others magic? You might be able to keep it contained but it might be hard depending on the type of magic.

[Her skills were a little bit particular and since she's awoken here she hasn't wanted to talk about it. It's nice being treated as just herself.]

That is something that I am working on. I know magic itself is very versatile and comes in so many different forms. I'm not arrogant enough to believe that I will be able to fashion something that could contain all magics. But I hope with the right setup, even if someone were to use their magic to escape, we could all still be alerted.

[Kahlan nods keeping her expression calm and composed. She doesn't want to give away her fears or nerves with this sort of thing but she has to wonder what sort of people live here where they will need such a place.

Then a more selfish thought dwells beneath the surface. If someone where can contain magic, she won't be able to hurt the person she cares about most.]

That's very wise. I don't know a lot about this place. Please excuse me if it sounds like I'm critiquing.

[At least for right now she's just trying to understand.]

[Aqua smiles brightly as the screen flickers on.]

Thank you again for letting me use the Holodeck. I have a few students now though I don't think it's enough to open my own location. I wanted to make sure it was okay for me to continue to use the space and if you'd like compensation.

[Not that Aqua has a lot of money.]

A friend is allowing me to stay with them without cost so it wouldn't be difficult to pay you.

I only ask that you train all of your students properly. Other than that, I don't need any sort of compensation. It costs me nothing to let you use the facilities. [So she can make use of it for as long as she needs to.]

Thank you then. If you are even in need of me please let me know.

[She wants to return the favor though for now she's happy to have those interested in learning with her.]

I promise that I will. Just keep doing what you do.

[Aqua nods with a smile and then turns off the feed. Unless David has more to say she should probably get to work.]

[Levy's at her bookshop when she hears David's announcement and she can't help but smile. She picks up her phone and watches as he goes through each order of business. Before responding, he is usually pretty busy and while she's now free in the evenings she doesn't see him everyday.]

I don't remember if I congratulated you on your new term. [She would have voted for him regardless. Though with Ted and that complication she chose to take a backseat to politics.] Belated congratulations.

[Another smile before her expression grew slightly more concerned.]

Do you think a prison would help?

[She can't imagine being stuck here and being stuck in a prison. The idea might stop people from doing bad things but then there are the complications of laws which when you have people from a hundred different worlds can get confusing.]

Thank you very much. I don't feel like I really earned it, though. It just seems more so no one wanted to run for the job. [Though if that was because he was doing a good job in the position was anyone's guess.]

I hope so. Some people do need to be held away from others if they commit a grievous act. I don't know that it will be a deterrent or not, but I don't think it will really hurt this place to have one.

[Levy blinks her head tilting to the side.]

I think you earn it. You do a lot for the city. [At least from what she's seen.

There is a moment of pondering silence before she continues.]

I think it will be a slight deterrent... even if no one is in there.

[She hopes so at least.]

Do you need any more help with spells? [Her head tilts to the side while a smile pulls across her lips.] I have a lot more free time now.

Well hopefully I can continue to earn it. [Even if he did eventually lose the position, he still planned to continue helping this and every city.]

Yeah, at least once the place is fully set up. I want to secure it as much as possibly with all measures at my disposal. It shouldn't be something that is easy to escape.

[Levy doesn't think David could stop helping. It's something they had in common though his ideas were usually far more grand than Levy's.]

That's good.

[She is trying to think of anyone she'd want to see in prison and really only one name comes to mind.]

Anyway if you need help let me know.

[Otherwise she'll leave him be because he's probably super busy.]

[He gives a little nod.] I still do need to finish some stuff up. But what do you say we head out and do something sometime soon? I'm gonna need a break after all of this.

I'd like that!

[She smiles brightly at the camera.]

It's fun to do things that aren't always work related.

[More so since she's finally gotten a break from things.]

It sounds like you have everything well under control.

I'll certainly have to make use of that training simulator of yours.

Well I can't slack on the job just because I have another term already in the bank. Got to keep up the momentum.

I don't think I have any questions, however looks like you already got back on track quickly with work for your new term.

I don't think I could slow down even if I wanted to. It does feel good to have another term lined up, though.

There is a lot one can do in six months. Though I still haven't thought about what I'll be doing for that long myself. Must be nice to be able to.

There's a lot you can do. Have you considered opening up more Inns? I bet you could make a killing in places like Fayren or Nova City.

I've never considered it, no. But that was mostly because it was never something that sprung to mind.

[She was just use to running just one inn.]

[Interesting, he had to admit. Fai was currently sitting in the room of his place and had been already working on something he had in mind for the people of Everglade, but yet he felt like it was so tiny compared to what the other had done already.]

Already hard at work, I'm impressed. Though can I ask how much using the Holodeck would actually cost?

[Well, David has had a lot of time to work this stuff out. He even made a check list for things he wants to do!]

There ain't no rest for the wicked. That depends on how long you want it for. You get a slight discount for the more hours that you buy. But for just one hour of time, maybe 40 red bills.

It depends, I mean I am considering using it to hone up my own skills, or use it to also help train someone else.

[Because he needed to train her elsewhere really.]

I could give you a Guardian discount. 20 Red Bills for you and your student trains free when they are training with you. I don't think you will find many better places to train. You can set up and control the scenarios exactly how you like at Holodeck'd.

From the places we have trained so far... yeah they haven't been the best, but we made do with what we have. I'll let you know if I decide over all though since I need to talk to Sakura-chan first since she is the one who is training.
