[Action - Any of the cities]
[Psii told him to be careful, to not let his guard down despite the seemingly peaceful atmosphere of this new place they'd found themselves in. But how can he stay cooped up in a hivestem somewhere when there's so much to explore, so many new things to see? He'd read over all the pamphlets, memorized most of the maps for Genessia and the surrounding locations, and even kept a few of them in the pocket of his new black hoodie just in case he did happen to get lost. Said hoodie which, for perhaps the first time ever, he's grateful to have such nubby horns because even if it's slightly uncomfortable, it's not too bad. He'd considered trying to cut holes in the top as his old cloak had but, well, he doesn't exactly trust himself with cloth work without screwing something up. That was always his mother's job.
Regardless, this 5'11" alien seems far too pleased to be out and about in an actual city where everyone seems to get along just fine. No violence, no dead grubs littering the streets or such levels of misery in general.
He doesn't know how long he's been out and about, but he's determined to explore all these new cities before he has to head back home. Before Psii wakes up and has a hernia at him missing without a word, or before he freezes his nubs off from this strange weather. But he will admit, the snow is delightful now that he has a proper pair of boots and a jacket to keep the cold away. And each of the cities is so different, yet so similar in their own ways. The sense of peace, even in the dark, foreboding feeling in Everglade. It's an entirely different sense of feel than Alternia, and as overwhelming and shocking as it all is to be suddenly in another world, suddenly alive again, he absolutely loves it.
Perhaps a little too much, as he's not always paying attention to his surroundings, which leads to him walking right into people on occasion.]
[Voice]
And to think, here I'd been worried about waking up in Hell. When in comparison to such a world as this, my own could certainly be considered as much.
[The voice is definitely that of a grown man, one far too bemused at his current situation than most would be. He's not angry in the least bit, but beyond that pleasant tone there's a weight of tiredness he thinks he's doing well to hide.]
Obtaining a job is a novelty, something I've never had the luxury of. So I find myself at a loss where I should begin, or what I would be most qualified for here. Things are different, in the best possible way, and yet it brings about a revelation that men with my talents aren't needed in such a place.
But there's no need to dwell on such things. While I wouldn't mind job suggestions for someone who's experienced in public speaking and combat, there's much more important matters at hand, and the entire reason I decided to broadcast this.
What is there to do for fun here? My dear friend and I have only been here for about a day, and as helpful as the information pamphlets are, I feel speaking out and asking around is the best way to get information no matter where you are.

[Voice]
That's a very underhanded trick. I'm bordering between quite proud and quite hurt, leaning to the earlier rather than the later.
[[Actually he'd missed the signs entirely until he'd seen this and had been out walking for a while himself.]]
[Voice]
[The poorly concealed amusement in his tone suggests otherwise.]
You looked so peaceful, I thought it a shame to wake you from your nap.
[Voice]
[[But now that he's not worried out of his mind that one of a few scenarios had come about, Psii can at least smile if not out of relief. Anyone else he'd been asking had been lisped terribly at, now that he's calm he can speak slowly enough to avoid it.]]
Peaceful?
Only you would think someone like me peaceful looking. You know I don't approve of you going alone, but that's always been you, hasn't it? Going it alone. Do wake me next time, Signless, I'd rather the argument.
[Voice]
[And the fact that there's no way in hell Psiioniic would've let him step foot out the door alone, much less wander all five areas so freely.]
Besides-
[His voice cuts short, trailing off as he rethinks his words. No, that's a bad subject. His bitterness was rising, the careless nature pushing to the surface. Because what's the worst that could happen, his death? He doesn't fear death, not anymore. After dying once, what's a few more times?
But to say that to a close friend who'd been forced to watch him die, well.... He's not that cruel.]
You worry almost more than mother used to when I was young.

voice;
As for fun, it all depends on what you might consider fun because there is a lot and that could cut it down.
voice;
[He pauses, because how does one describe fun? The question is understandable, because his idea of fun as compared to a highblood's, well. It really is a versatile word.]
Simple entertainments of life which most people can enjoy. I'm not too keen on the type of fun certain sadistic bastards would pass their time with.
[Signless fails to hold the contempt out of his voice near the end. He has to remind himself that this place is nothing like Alternia and there's no need for such hatred. But with his wounds barely healed and still sore, it's a hard reminder to keep this new found burning under control. But he tries.]
voice;
[Yukiko had a different idea about fun anyway, but she knew of a few things.]
Well be glad I don't like the type of fun sadistic people would enjoy. But since the snow is around snowballs fights is a good first thing to do.

( voice )
Well, that all depends on what you'd call fun, now, doesn't it?
( voice )
[Something he's had to think about as he's wandered the cities, because the more time passes, the less "peaceful" equals "enjoyment." It's quickly fading more into the "boredom" territory, something he hadn't thought possible for a very long time.]
( voice )
[The tone is questioning. Balthier can't think of one person who's never done one thing for fun their entire lives.]

[But strange is good, he won't deny that.]
Public speaking, stealth, thievery when necessary, I suppose, and various forms of combat. However, as the wounds from my death still seem to be healing I don't believe I'll be able to pick up any jobs that require combat skills immediately.
( voice )
Do you need any help? I know a few herbs that help with healing. I may be able to find them here.

action;
As he managed to pin up the newest one he couldn't help but turn his head and see someone he was pretty sure he hadn't seen around here before. Turning around he gives a warming smile before making his way over.]
Hello~ I assume you have never been to Everglade before?
no subject
You assume correctly. I've been wandering around to get a feel of this world, and this is certainly one of the more interesting places.
[Interesting as it had that tingle of uncertainty that reminded him vaguely of home, and yet still didn't seem nearly as dangerous.]
I'm the Signless, pleased to meet you.
no subject
[It's not one he's ever heard before. It was interesting in a good way. Made him more interested.]
This world is pretty interesting. Everglade if you don't know yet rather enjoys scaring you if they can because that's kind of what the city is about to me. Spooky things that go bump in the night.

Action
What she doesn't expect is someone to still manage to run into her. She digs in her heel and yet still falls, her books scattering around them.]
Ouch...
[She blinks and looks over at the boy. She notes the horns and wonders if he's a troll like Porrim.]
no subject
Shit, are you alright? My apologies, I should've been paying more attention to where I was going.
no subject
I'm fine. It was equally my fault for being in a rush. [She lightly tucks a loose strand of blue behind her ear.] I drop boOKs a lot actually.
[She laughs brightly when they finally get everything together.]
I'm Levy. Thanks for helping me pick up my books.

Everyone holds their own views and opinions on this world and while the information might be the same it can be interpreted differently by different sources. That being said I haven't found any information suggesting that there is a way back home.
Fun things also depend, I enjoy going to the bar in Fayren. I believe it's called the Dancing Donner. I train in the early hours of the morning and then in the evenings I like to read by the fire. Otherwise I've been looking for work as well. It looks like they have a little bit of everything depending on where you are.
[Right now she's trying to explore all of the towns and not be overly surprised by technology.]
Voice
[Because even if there were a way for him to revive back home... He doesn't think that would end well, and it would only cause more pain than good. Even still, he keeps his tone level, forcing his emotions on the matter down.]
Everything certainly is rather varied here, isn't it? If I look long enough, I'm sure I'll find something to entertain myself with.
Voice
[There is a wistful warmth in her voice before she changes the topic.]
What sort of things are you usually entertained with? I'm finding a lot is different here. [Like cars.]

I actually had a job lined up for me on Beforus, although it wasn't a job as they conceptualize it here. There are no wages or anything like that, you just get assigned work based on your blood caste and deal with it. So you can imagine the concept of picking something you actually want to do for a living came as something of a pleasant and perhaps overwhelming surprise to me!
Video;
And as he listens closer, pays attention to just what she's saying... Beforus? It seems familiar, in a way. Something he's heard once in a dream, in something far beyond what he's ever fully comprehended.
And for one of the rare times in his life, Signless isn't sure what to say. So, instead of responding to the feed with a simple voice message, he switches on the video feed to perhaps express what he's finding himself unable to.
Porrim can be greeted with a sight that sure as hell is Kankri a couple dozen sweeps older than she'd recognize. At the very least, he's gotten a black hoodie to cover up those god awful leggings, which for the snow around him as he's out and about is barely decent, but that really wasn't his biggest concern.]
Video;
Kankri?
[ But no, he was too old (old looking, anyway); well, unless it was a Kankri from a doomed timeline that lived much longer than her group had, which was not only possible but honestly likely. Except the possibility of a timeline from their session existing where Kankri wasn't haranguing people about unnecessarily obscure and convoluted triggers was infinitesimal. In the midst of this, she remembered to flick on the video for her own phone. ]
Wait, not Kankri- you're the Sufferer, right? Or, maybe not, of course no one called you that while you were alive, haha... [ Oh god. ]
