Sortie 01 | [Action]
[He'd woken up with a sudden start. His mind was immediately cluttered with questions as he quickly scanned the area around him from the pod. Most of his questions ranged from "What the hell is going on here?" to "Where the hell am I?" - but even if he had those answers, they still wouldn't explain the whole 'waking up in a pod like some cheesy science fiction novel' thing. He knew better - Belka had no form of technology that would explain this 'pod' nonsense. Giant laser towers, sure, but cocoons? Not quite. Especially not when he knew he was last in Waldreich after carrying himself there from the Avalon Dam.
Too many thoughts were clouding his mind at once. He shut his eyes, taking a moment to clear his head and try to piece together the events he could remember. He survived that last air battle, so there was no way he could be dead; even if he thought he should be. More importantly, he was found by civilians that still lived at ground zero. He was staying there ever since. Now this? This doesn't make sense. He would have known if he were transported anywhere. He sat up, catching the box on his chest with a swift, precise motion before it slid off of him and into the water. His eyes narrowed, instinct tellng him to investigate the contents of the box on the off chance it was a trap. When he found the contents were nothing to be concerned with, he closed the box before he slipped it into one of his flight suit's pockets, then patted a pocket on the other side- there's what he needed. His pistol.]
[Pixy carefully made his way out of the Bay, hands tightly gripped around his pistol as he carefully scanned the area. He hesitated at the entrance, narrowing his eyes at the sight. There definitely wasn't anywhere in Belka that even remotely resembled this. He took a few steps forward, but immediately whirled around with his gun pointed when the hologram started its message. When he realized just what it was, he slowly lowered his pistol and listened carefully. 'Weiss Schnee', huh? That's a Belkan name if he ever heard one-- even if it was kind of generic. Honestly, 'White Snow'? Still, he hadn't heard the name 'Schnee' since his dogfight with the Schnee Squadron at the Round Table.
Still, anything that hologram was spouting sounded like sheer nonsense. The idea of being in another world was ridiculous, but at the same time, he reminded himself that there was no place even remotely close to this in Belka, or any other country he visited. This seemed more like a coma or a bad fever dream than any form of reality. Perhaps he was more wounded from ejecting from the Morgan than he realized, although it was odd that he still felt those injuries.
There was no point in standing there any longer when the message had finished, and while he should investigate the box's contents more thoroughly, he'll save it for now. For the time being, he's going to stick to carefully exploring the city with gun in hand. On one hand, he hoped to find a familiar face somewhere, but on the other, he hoped that wouldn't be the case. He moved slowly and carefully as the snow quietly crunched beneath his boots; the man clad in a flight suit and heavy brown, fur collared flight jacket with an emblem on the left arm moved through Genessia City, clearly on edge to any bystander that'd see him. Approaching him with caution would be highly advised.]

But after being out and about for a few hours, the snow is really starting to grow on him, and the chill doesn't bother him as much as it initially did. However, he's still curious regarding everything about this place, and that includes that strange bay he found himself and his friend in the night before. So of course he's wandering the area, wondering the little details of how and why, when he spots someone who seems... Well, tense would be putting it lightly.
His steps slow, hands removed from the safe confines of his jacket pockets to show there's no weapon in them. You don't start a revolution and not know how to work your way cautiously around someone clearly armed and prepared for battle.]
Now, there's no need for that, is there?
[Signless is smart enough to keep his distance, his body relaxed, nonthreatening as possible as he gestures to the gun, but still poised to dodge if necessary. But this man seems far too on edge for what appears to be peaceful surroundings as far as his explorations have told him. It would be a shame for someone unknowing to spark this man's paranoia and get themselves hurt.]
no subject
I dunno, kid, you tell me.
[Whoever he is, he appeared unarmed- but just because someone looks unarmed, doesn't mean they are unarmed. And having just come out of a war, and a failed revolution of his own, Pixy wasn't willing to take any chances.
Despite this, Signless' posture did seem to make Pixy relax enough to move his finger away from the trigger. His gun was still aimed, but he was at least less likely to fire. He let out a long, quiet breath that clouded in the chill air.]
I didn't know the circus was in town. Who are you?
no subject
But his hands lift slowly to lower the hood of his jacket, better showing off his small horns and pointed ears, as if his fangs and eyes weren't telling enough he wasn't human.]
Not a kid, I assure you, and I mean you no harm. I don't think anyone in this place does, to be quite honest. I can't claim to know the intimate details as it's been perhaps just over twenty-four hours since my arrival, but for the hours I've been taking in this city and the surrounding ones, I've ran into no conflicts which would require a weapon to handle.
The name I commonly go by is the Signless, a title which is meaningless to humans and yet I see no reason to change it regardless of how long my stay here may be. And you are?
no subject
Can't say I'm a fan of the theatrics here. If you aren't human, then what are you?
[Although if what he's saying is true as far as the city is concerned, it would be somewhat of a relief. He doesn't exactly want to have to use that gun in his hand. Still, having it made him feel a little more secure. With further hesitation, Pixy began to lower the gun.]
'Signless', huh? [Weird. Well, then again, he's not exactly one to talk about weird names.] Name's Pixy.
no subject
[The lowering of the gun keeps his smile in place, glad to know that he helped relax Pixy to some degree at the very least. He could certainly understand the appeal of having a weapon, just in case. If he'd awoken alone in this place instead of with a friend, well. He doubts he'd be in the best of moods right now either.]
It's a pleasure to meet you, Pixy. Have you read all the information you were given upon arrival?

You know... You shouldn't just have a gun out like that.
no subject
You got any better ideas on what I'm supposed to do with it then?
[His voice had a dry, sarcastic tone to it, but hey, at least he was able to manage some form of sarcasm in the first place.]
no subject
[Hikari was scared but she at least had the balls to be somewhat pissed about it. However being sarcastic was not something she was awfully good at in the first place.]
It's not necessary and just plain rude.
no subject
Can't do that, kid. Not until I know just what the hell's goin' on here.
[He'll be the one to determine if the gun is necessary or not. Still, at least she got him to lower it to his side in the first place.]
no subject
Well what the 'hell' is going on is simple. We've been brought here for some reason that no one knows. There is no way back so we are all stuck here. Sure people disappear, but we have no way of knowing what happens to those people.

Sure, 'new', if that's what you want to call it.
no subject
[Which he was pretty sure it meant that the other might have questions of some kind.]
no subject
And lemme guess. You're gonna tell me the same details that hologram did about not knowin' who's responsible for all this. Am I right, kid?

Action;
As he steps closer she moves to the side allowing him to pass without worry or fear of her.]
If you're lost you should just ask for help.
[Red eyes reflect the light of the snow as the sun light glints against the white fluff lining the sidewalks.]
no subject
Although the way she carelessly passed him and left that remark made him frown. Instinct told him that there was more to this girl than it seemed. He stopped, watching her walk past him and scoffed.]
Alright then, kid. Care to enlighten me or am I just gonna hear the same nonsense that I got already?
no subject
[Her tone turns sour.]
Just because I'm not an old man doesn't mean I'm just a kid. [Technically being a nineteen year old makes her a kid but Ib's been through more than most people twice her age.]
I don't know what nonsense you have heard.
no subject
Actin' like that says otherwise. [Not that her age matters either way. He's called people a year or two younger than him 'kid' too.]
Sitrep is nothing but 'in an alternate world'. Last I checked, I didn't fall down any rabbit holes at Waldreich.
[And he's pretty certain that he wasn't serious about him saying Bristow was 'dragging him off in a magical carriage to Hell'.]
no subject
Why?
[She asks lightly, her head tilting curiously to the side.]
I mean, I didn't fall down any rabbit holes either though if you read Alice in Wonderland then you know she followed the rabbit down the hole. [Just saying.] But why is it hard to believe you're in another world?
[It's happened to Ib before though that was in an art gallery.]

[She feels like there is something she's missing.]

I dunno, kid. Why would someone have a weapon out?
no subject
[Levy answers simply before adjusting her books.]
Unless you want to shot me I just have books as a target.
[She doesn't really think she's going to get shot though her shoulders are a little tense.]
If you're not going to use it put it away.
no subject
[Not that you're doing a good job explaining what you're doing with it, Pixy. He's at least making no moves with it, he seems to be more behaving himself with it around the younger people he's run into.]
I'm not puttin' it away until I know what I'm up against.
[He's mildly injured and just came out of a war and terrorist acts, he's got a small case of paranoia. Yeah, small.]
no subject
Well I don't think anything will attack you here. I'd be careful in Fayren or Everglade though. They have monsters wandering around... not saying you should shot first because some things that don't look human are very nice but some also just attack you.
[She pauses realizing that she might not be helping.]
Genessia is a pretty calm city though.
