[With a odd disturbance altering the ages of other residence in this forsaken world, an uneffected Bloody Marie takes advantage of this to go to the local library in Genessia, the city she perceives as the capital of sorts.

Flanked my two skeletal minions, she strolled on into the building an towards the reference section of the library. Marie broswed the shelves, the two selektons standing behind her, arms crossed in a bodyguard fashion. The Skullgirl pulled any book that might describe Genessia, its cities and its history. Whenever she found anything irrelevant, she would toss the book away onto a nearby table.

So what are you gonna do if you find it? The big kahuna?

[ The voice came from behind Marie, from a teenage girl in an obscene amount of pink, sitting on the shoulder of one of her skeletal minions. ]

Gonna overthrow it?

[Marie mostly ignored the pink thing for a little bit as she pulled another book, skimmed a few pages, then tossed it into the pile. The skeletal minion holding the extra weight doesn't seem bothered at the moment.]

"I assume you mean the one behind Genessia? I suppose 'overthrow' is a nice enough term."

Oh, are you mad at it? Gonna teach it a lesson!

Did you being brought here interrupt something important?

"Yes, yes, and yes."

[The skeletal minion that was being a unwilling chair was starting to look a little strained.]

"Though, it's really none of your business."

Nope! But it'd be really sweet of you if you told me anyway!

Maybe I can help! Do you already know about when the dome broke?

[Marie wasn't going to. But she dropped a book upon hearing about the dome. Just as she did, the skeleton supporting the pink one collapsed into a pile of bones. Marie turned to face her guest, looking rather angry.]

"If that is true, than that would have counted as something important that I asked for the other day. They purposely kept that from me?!"

[ Nui seamlessly pirouetted onto the other skeleton as the first one collapsed. Nui found it amusing that no one volunteering to give this skullgirl (lol) information counted as 'keeping it from her.' It was entitled arrogance that she found absolutely charming. ]

Yep! They don't really like you around here. Most of them want you to follow rules and act like the upright monkeys that fester here.

The dome broke and a whole bunch of ghosty things came flooding into Everglade and maybe a couple other cities, I wasn't here for it so whatever. Some losers went over to some old building in Fayren and gave up apart of themselves to seal it up.

[Through the Skull Heart's influence, the collapsed skeletal was steadily putting itself back together.]

"The dislike was apparent from the moment I announced I took one of their precious churches. People like them will end up victims of criminal overlords like Lorenzo Medici."

[While listening to the explanation, one thing occurred to Marie.]

"Now why would you bother sharing this with me? What do you expect to gain?"

Obviously I want to be friends! You seem like a nifty gal! I really dig the aesthetic, and the attitude is to die for~!

[ She pulled the skull off of the guard she was sitting on and started to spin it on her finger like a basketball. ]

You know, I bet you'd get along well with that vampire that hangs out in the huge castle with his harem. Probably the harem too, judging by fashion sense~

He was talking about trying to figure out what powers the cities a little while back and said he has ~secret information~ about it.

[That was the first time in a long time that someone said anything nice about her. Sadly, she doesn't have much of a heart to store that in. Meanwhile, a distraught skeleton was flailing around trying to snatch its head away from the person.]

"I'll pass on the harem, but I will look into this vampire you mentioned."

[ She hopped off the skeleton and tossed the skull back at the skeleton over her shoulder. ]

[Marie quietly considered what just happened as Nui readied to take her leave. The headless skeletal juggled its head around a bit before getting a grip on it, plopping it back on its neck.]

"A vampire, hmm? This might be interesting."

[Marie eventually decided to stay a while longer. Leave no book unopened for today.]

[Belle was always at work when not at home or having to go fetch a book or two in between. Today was actually no exception to this as she was currently stacking shelves with books that had been checked back in this morning.

When she saw the other, she sighed. She already knew instantly why they were here.]

If your looking for information you will be out of luck here. I've checked the books personally when I first arrived. Any and all history is cut off purposely by whoever is keeping us here. So can you please not throw the books because otherwise it will be a massive pile.

[Marie immediately stopped searching when she heard this familiar voice from the other day. She said 'please,' so Marie issued a silent order to her skeletal minions to begin organizing the messy pile of books into a easy-to-shelf stacks.

Marie turned to face Belle.]

"Were you here for the 'Broken Dome' incident? Or perhaps you know of a vampire hiding in Everglade who knows why the incident happened?"

I was not here during that incident. I only know about it through word of mouth, so my knowledge on it is very limited.

[Though she paused for a moment, book in hand and paused on the shelf for the moment.]

I didn't know of any vampire who knows about why the incident happened.

"That's a shame. Do you know anyone who was here for the incident?"

[Marie checked the progress of her minions. Seeing one of them lose its arms trying to lift a sack of books suggests her power to keep her minions reliable hasn't regained fully from her last attack on Medici Tower.]

I can't say since I never asked how long someone has been here for.

[At the time she didn't see much of a point as she put the last few books from her arms onto the shelves.]

"Sounds like you have a long way to go in your own pursuits."

[Marie moved on down to another shelf section to continue her searching, despite being told there wqs nothing here with any relevance.]

Of course, nothing happens overnight after all.

[She had gone back to making sure the books were neatly back on the shelves and more importantly in the right place.]

"Death can occur overnight."

[A lively fact that's just about pointless to the topic at hand.]

"Perhaps I can find answers in some ruins."

That's not exactly something I mean by what I said. I meant information wise not in general. It's a say not something to take literally.

[She wondered if the other would take it literally for everything she said. She made a note of that in her mind for the meantime.]

As for ruins there have only been one discovered so far...there was nothing useful there.

[Fai had spent a lot of time in Everglade due to his job, but every now and again he enjoyed going to other places and trying his best to be able to find some books that might help him in one way or another. But with his new child form he found he couldn't really do as much, sure he had set up the little group of natives like he had wanted to, but that was about it.

But until he knew he would be older again he might as well do others things and before he could he noticed the other.]

Interesting bodyguards you have.

[Just as Marie turned to glare at the child, so did the skeletons as they lean in to stare at him in a attempt to intimidate him.

She only stared while not saying a single word, waiting to see if the kid had a reason to talk to her.]

[Fai doesn't at all flinch, he was way use to things happening to him. Instead he just smiles for a brief moment before looking at his book.]

So what information are you trying to find?

"Anything about this world. A child like you wouldn't understand."

[So says a girl who died at around the age of 13 years.]

You do realize I don't usually look like a kid right~? Or are you one of those new arrivals that know nothing at all~

[Said in the must happiest voice ever, which for some might annoy them.]

[Now what brought on such sass? Marie glared more intensely as each skeleton placed boney hands on each of the boy's shoulders as if to tell him to ease up on the attitude.]

"I suppose I'm one of those new arrivals who knows nothing. And that's why I'm looking for knowledge. "

Books won't give you the knowledge most come here for.

[He flipped through the page of the book he had been reading. He's had worse things happen after all.]

"And I suppose you do have the answers I'm looking for?"

If you're looking for a way out... [he paused briefly, letting the tension in the air linger just that little bit longer.] Then can't help you there. Information, possibly. It just depends on the exact information.

[The young blonde even at a young age could give a cat like smirk like the best of them before closing the book gently and placing it to the side.]

"What incidents occurred in this world? Like the incident about a broken dome and spirits invading? Who is this vampire in Everglade? What is his connection to the city and the dome which broke?"

[Surely Marie can't be more exact in her questioning than that.]

[Waving his hand in the air he knew he could answer that due to him being around when it all went down.]

There were many incidents I'd be unable to list everything I've seen in my nearly two years here. But about the dome, it's as you said on the other side of thise place this barrier in the cities live spirits who will drain anyone and everyone of emotions. It's why people gave up something in order to fix the barrier.

[He paused briefly, he didn't know much about Vlad really, but he figured that was who she was talking about.]

Well... there are many vampires in Everglade so I can't answer that without being specific.

"Has anyone ever tried to go beyond this barrier?"

[She didn't wait for an answer to repeat some specifics she heard of the vampire.]

"And it's said this vampire has a harem, so he's male. And lives in a castle in Everglade. Is that specific enough?"

I don't believe so... or at least no one has ever said anything.

[Yes, he knew of him, though harem he knew didn't exactly mean simply male, unless your talking about a reverse harem, but he didn't think that was really the case.]

Sorry, don't actually know anyone who has a harem, then again I don't see much of the sub archway which is the one you must be talking about.

[So little progress are seemingly being made. But at least the answer about the barrier was acceptable.]

"Are you stalling? All I'm asking is for a name."

[Marie assumes it is a familiar and perfectly understandable reason if he is stalling.]

"I suppose you're worried I'm going to start a war in Everglade? A certain man on the phone was worried about that, too."

Not really because I don't know his name, or am 100% sure what his name is.

[He didn't want to get anything wrong really. No one would.]

That was a random thing to come up with? Why did you say I was worried about that?

"So he is keeping to himself? I suppose I will have to wait until he comes out of hiding to ask him questions.

As for what I said, I'm raising an army of zombies and skeletons. Mostly skeletons. One man thought I was up to no good."

Or just go to his castle. It's not like he can keep you out exactly.

"Very well. I'll look into that."

[It would be difficult to sound sincere, but she's really trying in her undead state.]

"Purely for self defense. And, if absolutely necessary, in defense of people who would otherwise be slaughtered in mass murder."

[Even if it means slaughtering people who would be doing the slaughtering, if such a scenario arose.]

So to help people only if they had the possibility of death in mass murder?

[His little mind somewhat could not understand that at all. Seemed she was very picky with certain things, if not most things.]

"Given how busy I am, I can't go around being a super heroine to every individual person who is in trouble."

You do look busy.

[It's hard to tell if he was being serious, but he figured it depended on who they were and what exactly they had been doing. But he moved to stand up.]

Plus there are many others who can do that kind of thing, leaving time for you to do whatever you want.

"That is good to know."

[She looked at the kid once more.]

"I guess it goes the same for you if you're still talking to me."

There is only so much I can do in this body right now. But I am here getting ideas for something.

[Not that it will actually be something he does though. But ideas are always nice.]

But now I will stop talking and focus.
