Who: Sousuke Yamazaki, Rei Ryugazaki, Nagisa Hazuki. Also with an Open To All section as well.
What: Sousuke is being dumb and venting his frustrations by swimming after closing hours at the club. Next Day he's wondering around Genessia in his thoughts.
When: 1/7 & 1/8

Rating/Warnings: PG-ish. Includes a pretty severe injury and drama.

I: Closed to Nagisa & Rei

[Sousuke was full of negative emotions, due to sum of many things. There was a very noisy puppy whose owner didn't even know her, a very noisy child Nagisa who cried a lot if he got lost or if Sousuke seemed mean and stupid dreams about swimming happily with Rin at the Olympics. He had somehow managed to keep his emotions in check to keep the situation from exploding, but now that most of it was over, he needed a break.

He agreed to close the swimming club as the last person around tonight. This wasn't anything unusual. Sousuke often did that, since he wanted to review some of his students' progress at the same time. This time, however, he had different plans.

Once everyone else was out and he did all necessary work to officially close the club for the day, Sousuke headed over to one of the pools. He was still dressed like he normally was around work so it was easy for him to strip and get down into the water after acquiring a pair of goggles. Then he just began swimming his main form; the butterfly.

This wasn't what he was supposed to be doing. Not when his shoulder was still unhealed. Of course just a round or two wouldn't hurt that bad, but when the time in the pool just kept increasing the problems clearly started to make themselves known.

Without caring about them, Sousuke kept swimming. He could deal with pain. He just needed this right now.]

II: Around Genessia (OTA)

[It was a (forced) day off for Sousuke. When he wasn't working, he didn't have much to do. Usually he shopped for food ingredients or something useful for the apartment, but today he spacing off and staring into the distance - either walking aimlessly or sitting somewhere. With his level of attention he had a high chance of just bumping into someone, which led to a nonchalant "Sorry" on his end.]

II: Around Genessia

[Sakura has started to help Fai out in Everglade though she still takes extra time to head home and rest. Without more of her feathers there is no telling what might happen and Fai is known to worry.

While walking she's lost in thoughts about rather depressing topics so she doesn't notice Sousuke until he's bumped into her and she's falling onto the sidewalk. She blinks a few times and then looks up feeling horribly disoriented.]

I'm sorry.

[overexertion]

[It takes a while for Sousuke to register that there's a familiar voice apologizing to him. Seeing Sakura on the ground makes him snap out of the rest of the thoughts he has ja offer a hand to her.]

Are you alright? Sorry, I wasn't looking...

[spitfireprincess]

[Sakura takes his hand with a warm smile.]

I'm alright. Are you doing okay?

[overexertion]

[There's a visible, even if small, wince as he helps Sakura up from the ground. He covers it with a small smile.]

Yeah. I was just thinking about things.

[spitfireprincess]

[Sakura raises to her feet and then smiles up at him.]

What things?

[She doesn't think that everything is okay.]

[Dealing with a tiny Nagisa should be easier but the puppy and child proved that logical theory wrong. Nagisa seemed rather behaved at times and others a complete terror. That's just who he is that was Nagisa. Rei wasn't gonna change the other in any kind of way. He would be patient for as long as he was able. Only that when you're around kids your nomal though process goes out the window. There's too many distractions. He left Sousuke close by himself so that he could leave with Nagisa but he forgot something. It was strange to see the lights to the pool area left on. Perhaps Sousuke forgot to turn them off? He gives a sigh as he walks on over to the door.

Rei wasn't really paying attention at first but when he came in, he froze staring at the sight before him. A thing of beauty and grace, something he didn't really get to see in private like the other Samezuka members. It was Sousuke swimming the butterfly. Wait...

Something was off about that. No matter how beautiful it was that was Sousuke. Sousuke with an injured shoulder who could make it worst.

But something stopped him from screaming at that moment wanting to stop the other. Rei would feel the same way. He would want to swim too even if hurt. It's the water that beckons them forward. That deep blue that changes all the time for different reasons. How could he possibly stop Sousuke while he seemed to be doing okay. But for how long would that last before his shoulder would break completely?]

What to do...

[He slowly approaches the one side of the pool along the outside. Rei didn't want to be in the shadows. He wanted Sousuke to know that he knew at least.]

[Nagisa was rather glad he was back to normal. Being a kid again, while fun he missed certain things he could do as an teenager. He had helped out at the pool so he had been waiting outside the moment the working hours was over to wait for someone to come on out. When he had waited for at least five minutes he had started to wonder what was going on.

Curiosity getting the better of him, he slowly made his way in, hands behind his head as he walked. It wasn't long before he finally caught sight of Rei and was quick to make his way over.]

Rei-chan! What are you watching? [Just as the words left his mouth he looked over. Ah, so that was what he was watching. He paused for the moment, watching the others movements for a little while before shaking his head slightly. Okay, back to thinking the right thoughts here as he raises his hands to his mouth.]

Sou-chan~!

[overexertion]

[Sousuke is too focused on swimming to notice anyone by the pool. He needs to stay focused so he wouldn't get overcome by the pain he was already feeling. The more he ignored it the longer he could swim, and unfortunately the worse the pain would come. At least his shoulder wouldn't be in the way of doing his job as a coach.

It's hard to ignore someone yelling from the side of the pool, so he swims the round till the end and stops. After taking his goggles off he looks at the direction of the voice and notices that Nagisa isn't alone, even if his was the only voice he heard.

At least it wasn't Gou who caught him, but having the know something like this was also troublesome.]

I thought you guys went home.

[beautifulcalculations]

We were about to go home. [He had to go back for the most important thing. Rei needed his set of keys because everyone worked at different hours of the day. It had been really silly to forget them too. They laid shamelessly out on the front desk counter. Anyone could have seen them if they were paying attention.]

Sousuke, you know if you continue to swim you'll injure your further. [That wouldn't be something he would want to see.] If that were to happen would this place be able to fix it? Or even have the means to? I understand why you couldn't stay away.

[It happens to all of them. Rei didn't really think about Sousuke's predicament. Sousuke was a coach. He was seeing the one thing he wanted to do being done in front of him. Being able to swim without judgement from others was the logical choice until getting caught in the act. Eventually someone would have noticed just not right away.] I would mind you swimming as long as you don't push over your own limits. You speak of them when you coach to others. You should do the same.

[Nagisa had just come because no one had bee coming out and he had started to get cold. Never the less he couldn't help but puff his cheeks briefly.]

What Rei-chan said is right. Besides if Gou-chan found out... [He paused at that thought, what would she be like really. It was something he didn't want to think of at all, mostly because he had some idea.]

There's a reason I got you those things to help with your shoulder you know, part of being a swimmer was always to take care of ones self and of your team. [His arms moved and were soon crossed over his torso. Nagisa had started to go deep into thought, which might never be good for some.]

I am sure we can all understand that need and want to swim, but one shouldn't make themselves worse for it.

[Aurora had managed to get a stable job to at least get some money in while she considers her options when it came to her other job or two. She needed to use people in order to get what she needed to, which meant she needed to figure out who was useful and who wasn't.

Today however was a day she was out surveying without much thought and soon found herself near colliding with the other. She as grateful she was fast enough to evade it at least.]

[Sousuke really should have started paying more attention after a times of hitting and almost hitting others, but so far his attention span was as bad as ever. So it takes a while to notice the girl being annoyed at him. Whoops.]

Sorry. You didn't get hurt did you?

No, but saying sorry before would have been nice.

[It only took her to speak up, which she felt was rude... though really she kind of expected it. They were human after all, they were rude.]

[Sousuke seems a bit awkward at that.]

I was thinking about something so I wasn't paying attention. I should be more careful.

You should... But I should be sorry as well.

[She sighed slightly, time to put up an act instead of getting annoyed and letting her truth self slip through.]

Guess we both might not have been fully there, so I shouldn't get snappy.

... Sousuke-kun...? Weren't you working today?

Oh, hey Gou.

[Right. It would be strange for him to be out when he was supposed to be working, huh?]

I didn't feel that good this morning so I canceled my lessons for today. I was on my way to get some medicine...

[Which wasn't even a lie. He needed some pain medication for his shoulder, after all.]

Oh... You're feeling sick? What do you need? I can get it for you.

[She's worried about him after all.]

It's fine. I need to get some fresh air, after all. Besides, I only had a horrible headache.

Oh... Well... Go get some rest or something.

[Sorry, Sousuke. Rikku generally likes to collect a little extra money here and there and when the person themselves isn't paying that much attention or is prone to bump into people, it's a perfect set up for her to grab some of your bills. Hopefully you notice before she "apologizes for bumping into you" and disappears in the crowd.]

[When you're out of it, you don't usually notice it, but this time happened to be a lucky day for Sousuke when he did. So he at least attempts at grabbing her hand before she gets too far.]

It would feel like a better apology if you gave the bills back.

Bills? [Look at that face. It's almost as if she really has no idea what he's talking about. Except she does.]
