What: Adeline offered to take Pyrrha out to dinner when she arrived because she could tell that she seemed troubled, and things get a little interesting....
Where: Dinner and then later the household

[ Adeline ]

[After that shaky arrival, Pyrrha had called Adeline to take her up on that offer. She seemed to see right through her troubles, though she didn't know what they were right now. It would be nice to just... talk to someone who wasn't connected to her world. Not that her friends shouldn't know, just it was easier to get the perspective of another person's at a time like this. 

After settling on a place, she finally spoke after a moment.]

Thank you for the invite.

[Later on in the night, she may have drank a bit too much. Luckily she didn't drink a lot during her dinner with Adeline, but... probably more than she should have. She had to have some help from Adeline, but hopefully she wouldn't run into someone else before she made it to where she was staying.]

[OOC: Anyone is able to talk to Pyrrha while she embarrasses herself.]

Luckily, Pyrrha didn't seem to notice her whispering to the waiter. She was too busy looking for something she would like. She scanned the menu while listening to her. "Mozzarella sticks sound good to me," she nodded. She didn't really know what to choose, so eventually she just decided to keep it somewhat simple.

And for one night only, your favorite time of day is the whole day!

"Cheers," she says with a hook-shaped smile on her lips. She let the time roll by in amiable silence, eyes glancing over the menu. When she had a decent idea of what food she was going to order, she lowered her menu and looked over to Pyrrha. "So, cutter, tell me 'bout yourself. Whaddaya like, dislike, whatcha do, that kinda shit," she prodded in a casual voice. "Ya don't have ta say shit if ya don't wanna, yeah?"

Fun times!

"Hmm well... I mean.. Besides training and studying to be a huntress, I like to read and make new friends," Pyrrha started before adding on to that, "well... meaningful friends that will actually last. I'm sort of bad at making lasting friendships due to my status back home." But what else could she say? "I can't stand people who bully or take advantage of others though."

That was the implication, yes.

Adeline perks her head up at Pyrrha's response. "Status? Heh. Mo money mo problems?" She snarks just as their appetizers came in. She stuffed her face with food and spoke around it. "Huntress? That's the....uh...fuck, wha's that shit again? I heard 'bout it before but I...didn't pay much attention.."

The final comment about bullies and taking advantage of others, however, gets a very solemn and understanding nod. "Yeah. I getcha."

Pyrrha, on the other hand, grabbed a mozzarella stick and took a small bite. "No really money as much as it is... celebrity status... I've been blessed with the power I've been given and praise... But after being put on a pedestal, it make sit hard to make any meaningful relationships," she explained, taking another bite. "A Huntress is trained to fight the Grimm in our world."

"Preach!" Adeline suddenly announces as she holds her glass up before taking a long swig of it. "Erryone not wantin' ya but wantin' yer shit, yer talent, shit like that. S'not a fuckin' way ta live. 'Specially with this Grimm shit yer talkin' bout."

Pyrrha was silent for a moment. She didn't feel that way, but maybe that was the case for some people? She knew that other people like that did exist before she came to Beacon for sure. "It's tough, but it's thanks to my team and my friends now that I was able to make friends I could really count on," she explained.
