How's it going, 'nessia? How was your day? Do anything fun?

I'm good, if you were wondering. New. Don't have a lot to report yet. Just admiring. Amazing how good the wifi is on other planes of reality, right? Who knew Asgard had all those Optimum hot spots. The full package. The experience of being kidnapped to an alien world plus your own Twitter. No bars on the cell though. I don't think I'm covered out here. Anyone know what to do about that? Change scares me and this thing just doesn't have my apps. Or does it?

Also, I had an important inquiry. Can you all give me the status on the current taco situation? And general food options, I guess. Exotic native cuisine of the cities especially to expand my tongue's cultural horizons. I prefer sugar over spice on the taste-buds but I will accept deets on those sinus-clearing wasabi covered abominations too. Please respond, ASAP. I don't know how there weren't menus on that rack. Literally every place I've ever moved at least had a Chinese menu tucked under the door on day one.

[ blaine's positive anyone he knows in this place is going to be sending out a signal real soon, even if he didn't put a name or a face out into the world. could be a bad thing but he's pretty sure nobody that wants to murder him would know his voice? probably. probably.

spent a while doing some exploring before deciding he wasn't really sure what the hell to do with himself now that he's part of a show on the Syfy channel without actually speaking to people. the plan ended up being sit in a booth in the Bright Sky Diner with a (admittedly delicious as hell) milkshake while doodling on the back of the map of Genessia in between going through the network. sup. ]

[ Oh god no. Liv is having a bit of a mental panic attack. It's a lot easier to keep the whole zombie thing under wraps when you didn't give the person who turned you into a zombie his own podcast.

On the bright side, asking for sweets.. that meant he was cured still. Which meant Liv was still the only one who could turn people into zombies here and also meant that Blaine had no motivation to go around murdering street kids to sell organs. He's like harmless kitten Blaine instead of affable villain Blaine. He's at least 3 times less likely to ruin her life here because of that. ]

You have to get a place to live before they'll send you takeout menus, Blaine.

What humorless personality got to you this week? I like choosing a residence based on walking distance to things. You know, like restaurants. And way to say my name just now, buzzkill. I had a whole alias prepped.

I'm the only zombie here, so you're out of any clientele you'd need an alias for. And I don't have to have to be affected by a brain not to like you.

[ liv pls. why would he need an alias for other zombies? but good to know. that was the easiest way to get cash for him but there's other stuff to fall back on. he doesn't really need aliens AND zombies to deal with. ]

It's getting fixed soon but somehow it's hard to imagine getting over that.

I've been here about 8 months. Sometimes when people from the same world arrive, they have discrepancies in memory because of how long one of them has been here since time doesn't pass while we're gone. If we're gone-- we're trying to figure that part out right now, nevermind. However, a person can go to a place called the Dream Docks and essentially gain more memories. The process takes about a week, but I've been working with some friends to try to figure out how it works and I drew the short straw.

[ Well, okay, it was mostly because she wasn't actually psychic and the other person didn't want to be traumatized by what people had told her was coming- but Liv was okay with it. ]

No, I'm going to go get my memories restored so my telepathic friend can read my mind while I do and see if I'm actually leaving, having my memories written right then and there, or actually remembering.

I'm a zombie kidnapped by alien spirits to Narnia who's behind on my Netflix subscription to my life that I'm going to fix with a mutant and a mage watching me sleep. Also some other things that make that sound even crazier.

You're friends with Professor X? ...Okay. You do that. I don't know what you're on but it's fantastic. I could sell the hell out if it. Let me know how it goes and if you remember that time we broke into the detective's lady friend's house.

Stick to Earth standards. Most of the laws are the same, with a few exceptions based mostly on how many non-humans there are here. The majority of whom are blissfully unaware that I sneak body parts out of the morgue for lunch, so I'd appreciate it if you'd keep that quiet.

There are a lot of food places. I think I know of one taco place in Genessia but I’ve never been there. I’ve just passed it a few times. If you go to other archway’s you’re sure to find more foods or at least different kinds. Fayren has some of the best stews and roasted meats while Nova City has fancier things to eat. [She doesn’t really hang out in Nova City.] Everglade has some pretty… interesting places to eat. I know a few places that serve coffee there. [She packed her lunch when she worked in Everglade.]

Hey. An actual answer. I'll let you know if that one taco place is any good when I locate it. What's your favorite place then? A Fayre-...onian stew place? Digging the hair, by the way.

What can I say? I'm just not a fan of delivery. There's no police morgue here though, so it's just in the city's hospital.
