[Action/Teleporting everywhere]

[Like many others, Azalea was having very little luck getting to where she needed to go. She had rested for most of the day, so she could fulfill her promise to explore Everglade at night. But getting there was easier said than done, as she found herself in one location after another in mid-flight. She'd land for a brief moment to study her new location and then take flight again.]

[She stopped entirely when she found herself in the massive structure known as Castlevania.]

What kind of place is this? It looks like the sort of structure the Shadowbinder would erect...

It was less than a minute when the air rippled and a certain maid showed up, gently tapping the flat of her knife against her forearm. Her eyes, once red, quickly dimmed. She had sensed a strange distortion of space within the mansion but she hadn't expected it to be such a small creature. still, she kept her guard up just in case.

"State your business. Why are you in Castlevania?"

[While looking around, Azalea had gathered some energy from her surroundings, just in case she needed to defend herself. She was just as defensive when the maid suddenly appeared out of nowhere with a knife of some kind. At least there was no violence...yet.]

I...don't know how I ended up here. Something strange is happening...I keep finding myself in completely different locations. I don't mean to intrude...

Could you perhaps show me to the nearest exit? Or a window would work just as well...

[One of the places one might find themselves is File Island. The place that Hikari had brought to this world and a place Hikari found herself going to more often than not.

So when the other would find themselves there Hikari had taken notice.]

Hello...Did you come here through the subarchway? Or the odd thing that has been happening?

[Azalea looks around, yet again in an unfamiliar place. It was almost to be expected at this point. What she didn't expect was to be greeted upon arriving in a different place.]

Hello...I didn't come through the subarchway, so it might be that odd thing. I can't seem to get to where I'm trying to go.

You mean because of whatever is going on? I understand. it's why I'm kind of staying here.

[That way it might not happen, except if people get sent here...]

Then perhaps I should stay here as well. I'd hate to end up somewhere dangerous because of this...

[She looks around to take in her surroundings.]

What exactly is this place?

This place is called File Island. It's a place in my world that was apart of the Digital world.

It's... hard to explain really. But it is peaceful.

This is...a place in your world? Does this mean we're not in Genessia anymore?

[That is an especially terrifying thought.]

It's connected to Nova City, so we're not part of Genessia, no.

[Just a different city instead.]

Oh, but Nova City is one of the five cities, so we are still in the same world.

But if this island is part of your world, how did it get connected to Nova City?

If we weren't my reaction to you would have been very different.

[More of fright and fear than anything.]

[She can't look that scary, can she?]

So subarchways...are really part of your own world?

Yeah, but that would be because I knew you weren't a digimon I knew about.

[Which can be scary.]

No, but it's how parts of our world end up connected to one of the cities.

[Unlike the other unfortunate arrivals in Castlevania, Izanami had little time to prepare when this small dragon suddenly appeared down the hall from her. She still looked like a young woman, white burial shroud clinging lightly to her body as she floated just above the ground. Her red eyes, and fog moving around her that smelt of death--that certainly marked her out as not human.]

...This is Castlevania. Who are you?

[Azalea turned to the woman, looking intimidated only because she knew she wasn't supposed to be here, and she didn't want any trouble. It was unlikely that she'd be terrified of Izanami, regardless of the form she took. After all, none could look more terrifying than the Plaguebringer herself.]

I'm Azalea... Is this your place?

[Frankly, the Goddess was used to people fearing her. That was part of the reason she enjoyed the safety the castle offered - here, she did not have to deal with those who would feel threatened or intimidated by her - even if she still hid her hideous true form.]

Azalea? I see. I am Izanami, Goddess of Creation and Death within Japan.

[There seemed little reason to hide who she was, in the circomstances - Azalea would never believe her if she claimed to be human.]

...I live here, yes, but I don't own it. That honour would be held by Lord Tepes.

Goddess of Creation and Death? That's interesting...

[So the different worlds had different gods. How curious. She definitely recognized the "Lord Tepes" name, though.]

Ah, so this is his castle? I know I don't belong here, but I've found myself being warped to different locations against my will. Would it be possible to stay here until it passes? If not, I'll gladly fly out the nearest window...

[She didn't particularly want to stay, but who knows where else she would end up next if she left.]

Is it? Are there not Gods who hold domain over such things where you are from?

[Or, she thought, perhaps what surprised Azalea was the idea that the same Goddess who had a hand in creating the world and it's people could then rule it's underworld?]

Yes, it is his. He keeps the place for those in this world who were seeking shelter away from humanity, and offered to let me stay when I approached him. I enjoy hiding myself amongst humans, but it does get tiring sometimes.

...At least for a few hours, I doubt anyone will mind a dragon sheltering here.

[Truth be told, with all the disruption, she'd grown a little tired.]

Well, we do have gods of the elements. I suppose they can be called gods of creation. The closest thing to a "God of Death" in my world would be the Plaguebringer.

...Why would people seek shelter from humanity?

[She lets a relieved sigh at the invitation.]

Thank you. I hope it's not too big of a burden...
