[To those out in Genessia today, they may come upon the sight of a rather large 'man' in brown armor walking about the city, making his way towards Nova. He's actually gotten a few stares, mainly because of the weapons (Assault Rifle, Magnum, Grenades, and a Wrench) that he's got on him right now.

Any kidnapee can easily to tell that this fellow is yet another new arrival just by looking at the red stone on his necklace. Many of the veterans of this place probably assume he's just incredibly confused and lost. Yet in actuality Lopez wasn't really all that surprised when he woke up here. This is a guy whose been kidnapped and forcefully reprogrammed, and then sent back in time. He's not all that shocked. In fact, he doesn't really care about all that's going on at this point. At least he doesn't have to deal with the idiots that make up his team anymore....for now that is.

And considering that he still can't speak anything but Google Translate Spanish communication is sort of out of the question for him. He hasn't even really bothered to make a post yet, so the closest thing he got to any real interaction so far was that hologram girl. So he's basically walked into town unannounced.]

[Later that day, Lopez has finally decided to test out the communicator, especially after doing some more reading and finding out that it automatically translates any language. He's actually a little bit curious about that: It would be interesting at best for someone to fully understand him for once.

And so whoever listening is treated to a rather blunt and robotic voice speaking....in a different language. Oh boy.]

[Note: I'm taking Lopez from Season 6 of his series, basically around the time he's just arrived in Valhalla. Also, due to staying true to his character for now, I've decided to just have it that Lopez still has the knowledge to speak Genessia's 'universal language', but his speech unit is still stuck on Spanish, and to make matters worst its the stuff you get from poorly used Google Translate, meaning anyone who is fluent in the language is going to have a bit of a hard time. Also his communicator has a glitch with translation function, leaving him still unintelligible even in posts...for now that is.]

This isn't spanish class and these phones do text so if you know another language I suggest trying to switch to it.

Depende de qué traductor que usted se refiere. Mi aparato externo siempre se ha pegado en español, y mientras la mayoría de los comunicadores aquí al parecer tienen una función de traductor, hay al parecer un problema técnico con el mío ..... En el lado positivo que parece tener caramelo Crush. Esperar a encontrar mi puntuación más alta en español.

Okay I got a dictionary... that makes no sense. Do you not use your fingers to type? Why not take off the suit?

[Ah, the good old Spanish to English dictionary. He remembers how Tucker used one of those when he was the Blue Team's prisoner.

Lopez is actually kind of surprised by the effort put into trying to understand him here. Most of the Reds and Blues just tried to roll with it and either treated him like an idiot or acted like ones...usually both in the case of Sarge.]

What if we had someone make you a translator that you can talk into?

[Lopez seems almost shocked by the idea, seeing as no one has actually offered to fix the problem at hand. Its a lot more sincerity and consideration than he's used to.]

Yo no soy una IA . Sólo soy alguien que ha estado aprendiendo a estudiar idiomas, pero estoy mejorando para ayudar a traducir si lo necesita.

I know you mentioned about the game Candy Crush...I think. I mean you said crush, so that is my conclusion.

[Fai usually had a translater called Mokona, but now he realized here it was usually translated all languages, but not this guy. This was bothersome.]

I had to pick a language elective in high school. Spanish just seemed easier than the others.

Also it sounds like your world sucks.
