[The video feed turns on to Junpei completely topless, seen from a Dutch angle from possibly a bed. It seems he tossed on the bed and somehow activated a public feed. The high Schooler was facing a mirror, checking himself out and probably practising something...kissing, maybe? He backed off with a groan, feeling like a complete ass for doing that.

Then, some long, thoughtful thinking...]

"Uhh... How should I do this...? Do I text her? It would be easier... But it would make me look cool if I went and asked her in person..."

[Junpei cleared his throat.]

"H-Hey, Levy-san... I, uh, was around and I was thinking...maybe we could...I dunno, catch a movie? .... Nah... .... Ey' shweethart, why'nah ya and I blow this stand and have some real fun? ....Argh, the hell am I saying? She'll think I'm a loser if I go with that. .... Ugh, what is there to try...? You would think this would easier after saving her from that metal guy... Dammit all."

[The moment a voice was heard, Junpei almost jumped out of whatever articles of clothing he had left on, turn quickly and knocking over some items on the desk in front of the mirror. That wasn't going to end well.

He quickly found the source. How the hell did his comm get turned on? He sure as hell didn't turn it on.]

[Junpei moved over to adjust the video phone to be less awkward.]

It's either be yourself or be something your not. Being something you not is just not the right answer. Because if someone doesn't like you for being you, then you know it wouldn't work out.

I think asking one face to face is always the besy way to do it. Though I would suggest going in with expectations that they might see it as a date with friends.
