Black Feather: No news is good news, they say
[There's the sound of window breaking and then an offended yelp.]
...What kind of brainless moron dared attack me with a bunch of folded papers?
[The feed shows a perfectly normal room, with several beds, a desk and a now broken window. A newspaper is laying on the floor. Though the angle is weird as if the necklace was worn by someone really short, like a cat for instance or a living doll. Suddenly the room is filled with black feathers swirling furiously in the air.]
SHOW YOURSELF!
[When the feather storm stops a few seconds later, the room has become... a complete mess. Feathers, sheets and pillows scattered all over the place. The formerweapon newspaper is now reduced to a pile of shreds. Looks like someone lost her temper. The feed ends.]
[Half an hour later, Suiguintou appears on screen. It looks like she's sitting on a rooftop.]
So... let's say someone inadvertently lost their last issue of the Genessia Tribune... Where could they get another one?

{ And the window of the room he was temporarily renting in Fayren while that shitstorm in Everglade blows over, which he hopefully won't be held liable for. But oh well.
Zeref sighs, and sits up from the bed he was lying on. Sayla wasn't going to be happy about having one less window, either. Especially not in this weather. }
Hopefully, the inn has more.
[ action ]
[Well at least the broken window was not her fault.]
I'll go check.

I was just never told that before. [And some things that are obvious to humans are not for a little doll like Suigintou. Not that she'll admit that.]
It's not in Everglade though, is it?

[ action ]
Maybe he'll tell the innkeeper, and they'll bill the Tribune instead. }
video;
You attack a simple newspaper? How hilarious you are. Can't take you at all seriously.
video;
But she forces herself to regain a semblance of composure and looks at the woman who's just addressed her with a smirk.]
I attack everything that bothers me or gets in my way. And it always ends the same way.
[She shows the pile of confetti that used to be a newspaper only moments ago.]
I couldn't care less about what some stranger thinks of me.
no subject
Anyway. Time to try a different strategy. Suigintou leans closer, a sweet and seductive smile on her face.]
Unfortunately, that's awfully far from where I am. You wouldn't happen to be willing to go get one for me, would you?
[ action ]
He should tell the innkeeper. He totally should.
Suigintou clears her throat, looking away.]
So... you're planning on going back to the dream docks any time soon? I'm kinda tired of finding out once you and your baby-sitter are already there.
[Yes, you heard that right, Zeref: she just called Sayla your baby-sitter.]
no subject
"Certainly. Might as well head that way; where do you live?"
[ action ]
Not for a while. It's actually more taxing than it looks. { He doesn't comment on her calling Sayla his 'babysitter.' She'd resent that far more than he does if she were here to hear it. }
video;
[She is not taking you at all seriously.]
video;
Don't expect me to teach you how I do it. I can already tell you'd be a loosy student.
[She's gotten used to being underestimated by humans and the likes. It will irritate her but at least, she's used to it.]
[ action ]
...You still owe me new dresses.
[Which is why Suigintou made sure the demon was not around. She's not suicidal. She ponders what he says about the dream docks for a bit.]
I wonder if I should try to go there too, sometime.
no subject
Why, why... I can't reveal that information to someone I've never met, can I?
But there's an inn nearby. We could meet there?
Re: video;
[She couldn't help but laugh once more. Like she would want to anyway.]
Didn't want to, pretty sure papers already fear me.
video;
Great. That makes two of us, then.
[She's noticed the red color of the other girl's eyes too, pretty similar to hers actually, but doesn't comment on that.
She takes a blasé look before she looks away.]
Anything else?

video;
[Sarcasm, she didn't like the taste of popcorn anyway.]
But this was fun while it lasted.

Ever heard of the Lowerarchy in Everglade? I'll be waiting for you there. [Though her tone suggest he shouldn't have her wait for too long.] When do you think you be there? ...In one hour?
no subject
"Just in rumors, actually. You mean such a vile place actually exists? I've heard all sorts of contemptible creatures call that place home." Even in all his time working in Everglade, that place had been graciously hidden from sight and mind. Were it in his power he'd purge the whole thing in cleansing flame. Who on earth was this damsel?
"In any case, I can't say I know that location very well. As for the length of the adventure, I make no promises. I might step into another portal into who-knows-where. Or, perhaps the Tribune is in some great peril, for which your request will serve as a pretext for a grand rescue. Failing all that, an hour sounds reasonable."
video;
You seem easily amused. I don't doubt you'll find some other source of entertainment in no time.
[Had it happened to someone else, she'd have found it funny too. Unfortunately she tends to lose her sense of humor when it comes to herself.]
no subject
[She's a mini damsel who brought distress upon herself.]
Try not to get lost.

Ted was mostly anti-demon. Hanging out with Vyers will do that to a man. "Ah, you harbor distaste for fortune tellers too." Not all bad! "That would be ideal. Where is this infernal entrance, anyway?"
[ action ]
{ Honestly, Suigintou, so demanding. You have so much more in common with Shinku than either of you will ever admit. As she drops the issue on his bed, he can't help but notice the flier for the party and auction. I'm sure I'll be hearing from Mavis about that shortly, he thinks to himself. Which means he'll also be hearing from Sayla soon, too.
He blinks as she mentions the dresses. }
I see you haven't forgotten. { Or will let him forget. } I'll look into it, later.
{ He was rather surprised to hear she wanted to go to the Dream Docks, too. He was curious about the state of that 'Alice Game' she keeps telling him about. Which reminds him... }
That girl you mentioned. The one you said your sister kidnapped, your medium before me. What was her name?
video;
[Which was true and by now they have figured out what she is so they leave her alone.]
[ action ]
I haven't. And I'm not planning on letting you forget either.
[She tensed immediately.] Megu. Why are you bringing her up now? [She can guess exactly why, she just doesn't like that he did.]
no subject
So I'll see you there in an hour, then? What's your name, by the way?
Re: video;
[Is she saying it because it's true or because she's guessed that's where Suigintou actually lives? ...But how could she have guessed that? Suigintou decides to act indifferent.]
Have fun there, then.
[ action ]
{ Sorry, Suigintou, that's not really registering to him. Just like when Mavis found him bathing in the lake, modesty usually isn't the first thing that occurs to him in those sorts of situations. He just nods at what she says next; of course. He knows she won't let him forget. Suigintou has her priorities.
He sighs. Of course she can guess. And she'd be right. }
I speak from experience, Suigintou, when I say that when you go to the Dream Docks... you won't always like what you learn.
no subject
She was being coy about her residence, eh? So reserved. He'd roll with it anyway and just hope to run in to her. That usually worked. "Probably! I'm Ted, by the way."
video;
[Because killing those that deserve it has always been fun as she switches off the feed.]
