2nd Shadow | [Log]

Who: Alter Cipher, Ivina Darcann
What: Holier Than Thou bounty
When: Late night, January 31st
Where: Everglade
Warnings: Violence, potential murder and/or mind screwing, possible touchy-feely-ness

[Cipher had heard of that renegade priest when he was first mentioned in the newspaper, but thought nothing of it. It was none of his concern, as he had anticipated that someone would have put a quick end to the man before he were to kill anyone else, and he wasn't interested in getting his hands dirty so soon upon his arrival. However, when the recent paper came around and the man was still loose and continuing to end the lives of others, Cipher wasn't going to turn a blind eye again. Not this time. He'd decided to pay a visit to this man personally, and show him just what playing God would lead to.

In the guise of Liam, he approached the cathedral, where two crows were perched high upon its walls. He looked up at them, acknowledging the presence of his two familiars before stepping inside. Upon entering, shadows swirled around him before vanishing in a flourish of black feathers, the man entering the church's walls in his demon form. The smell of death was hanging in the air, desecrating such a grand cathedral with its offensive odor.

The priest clearly wasn't happy to see a demon in his church, but before he was able to speak, a shadow was quick to wrap around the man's neck as Cipher narrowed his eyes, his arm extended forward.]

So just what is it that makes you think you have the right to play God? That you have any jurisdiction over who is to be cleansed in the city, and who is 'pure' enough to earn your blessing to allow them to continue breathing?

[He slowly closed his hand, allowing the shadow to tighten around the priest's neck.]

You're nothing but a lowly mortal. Do not believe that your 'faith' puts you above others.

[While he was focused on the priest, he heard the caws of his two crows outside, potentially signalling of a new arrival. Still, he wasn't concerned. Whoever it was would be free to walk in on a potential murder scene for all he cared. The man had to pay for his actions.]
