Hunting down a Phantom

WHO: Yukiko Amagi and whoever runs into her.
WHAT: Phantom Lord Bounty
WHEN: 1st February
WHERE: Starting at Amagi Inn and then the hospital.
WARNINGS: Violence most likely.

[Yukiko had accepted a bounty once again and was preparing to go and deal with it as soon as possible. Holding a saddle bag filled with a few bits and pieces she started to make her way toward the front, looking at the receptionist briefly.]

I shall be back in a few hours, please let me know if there is an emergency.

[With a bow she walks over to place her shoes on before she headed off. She knew from the information she had was to head to the hospital first, so that was where she was going to head first. She just hoped it would be a good stepping point in solving the problem.]

Yukiko?

[Levy has a backpack now, no longer carrying books in her arms to the point where she can't see. Instead she fills the backpack and takes that as her limit. Right now it's rather light with only two books in it. Considering her new plethora of free time she walks up to the other girl with a smile.]

Where are you headed?

[She stopped, looking over her shoulder briefly before smiling.]

I was heading to the hospital. Working on a bounty.

Do you want some help?

[Not that Levy thinks Yukiko needs it but she doesn't feel right letting her friend head into something on her own. Plus she's more or less free.]

If you want to join, I won't stop you.

[She would appreciate the help anyway? With a smile she starts to walk on ahead.]

[For some reason that translates to Levy as 'yes, I'd love for you to come along.']

Okay.

[Levy follows after her and since she didn't read the paper yet she has no idea what it is they are hunting so she turns to ask.]

What is it? The bounty for I mean.

Well... from what I saw three people ho work at the hospital have gone missing and claims that someone was seen creeping around a few days before they went missing. So I'm going to there to ask around about this creeper.

[She turned the corner before walking on ahead.]

I believe that person is behind it all.

[Levy wonders if it's just people leaving the hospital but she suppose that doesn't make sense.

She continues to follow behind now that she knows where they are going she walks at Yukiko's side.]

Sounds like a good plan.

[She hoped it was a good plan, for all she knew she might be walking into nothing, or she could be walking into something serious, but no matter what she was sure it was still something. As she walked, she moved her shoulder bag so that she could shift the weight for the moment. ]

If we don't find anything, I'm not sure what I will do if I can't find anything, though.

[Levy thinks about it for a moment, a single digit pressing against her lower lip.]

Does it happen during a certain time of day? Maybe pretend to be patients or something and stake the place out?

Since it's workers they target it would make more sent to do that if we needed to stake out. Or just do what I did back home. It's why I brought my bag.

[She held it up slightly for a moment.]

It's got everything one needs for a stake out.

Sounds like a good plan.

[There is pause before she continues.]

What did you used to do at home?

When situations were going on and we were trying to solve them... We once staked out in front of where they lived or worked to see who would come and go. Anyone that was suspicious we always spoke to or tried and catch.

[They at least done it with Kanji and Rise anyway. As her neared the hospital Yukiko went to nice quiet spot before opening her bag.]

Do you want something to eat, or drink?

[Levy blinks feeling a little surprised from the question.]

Something to drink would be nice but I don't want to take your previsions.

I brought plenty.

[She did take maybe a little to much for just her anyway, or she didn't know how long she would be standing around. But she pulls out a drink and hands the can of soda over.]

There you go. Unless you want canned coffee or something.

Thank you. This is perfect.

[Levy takes the can with a warm happy smile. She takes a space next to Yukiko and begins to sip at the drink. The carbonation makes her smile before she turns to look down at her companion.]

How have you been since last we spoke?

[Yukiko managed to get another drink out for herself, opening it before taking a sip. It tasted good, or at least she liked it.]

Well I have been good. Been busy with work and all. Apart from that, not a lot has happened except the obvious. I am sure by now you know what I mean?

[Levy nods.]

Yeah.

[There had been an earthquake and then a large crack in the sky.]

Are you expecting to wait here all day?

[She wonders if there is more they can read on this bounty.]

I'm planning to, yes. You don't have to.

[Which was true, as she was the one who accepted it and had looked into as much as she could have. Only thing left was to see if this would work.]

[Levy nods her head and then fidgets so she's sitting comfortably with her bag of books resting in front of her.]

I'll stay for a little bit. At least then you have some company.

[She takes a sip of her drinking looking out around the area.]

[She smiled slightly. Before she moved to sit down for the moment, her eyes always on the doors of the hospital. So far it just looked like people going in and out for one reason or another.]

I assume you were carrying books for a reason?

[She took a sip of her drink before she looked over. She was pretty sure there was someone lingering right now.]

Okay, do you see that guy over there?

[Levy looks over and nods. She is carrying the books for a reason but it doesn't feel all that important.]

Do you think that's him?

It could be. I mean... he kind of stands out and just watching him gives me the chills.

[She would shiver if she wasn't wearing layers and would make her look a little odd herself.]

[Levy thinks about it for a moment and agrees. She looks over at Yukiko and then nods her head.]

Let's go then.

[She had finished the drink before putting it in the bin. Now it was the case of how to confront them, or perhaps following them and see where they would go. Maybe that might lead them to the others.]

Wait... let's keep a watch. If and when they leave we can follow and maybe find the missing people.

[Levy nods and then takes a sip of her drink. She keeps the man in her vision but she stops staring at him since that'd be obvious.]

I'm used to the more direction approach but then... that's Fairy Tail For you.

[Yukiko makes sure to look busy while glancing over every now and again.]

I don't know much about this Fairy Tail. Just makes me think of stories.

Well it's a mage guild that's surrounded by a lot of rumors.

[Levy laughs fondly.]

Is that back home?

[She assumed that much as she looked over again. He was still around for the moment, appearing to be looking into the hospital. So far they didn't have to move.]

Ah, yeah.

[Levy smiles, scratching the back of her head. She still has her eye on the guy but discretely.]

[She smiled slightly, she didn't have places like that back home, she just had her friends. Her eyes looked over and she could see the creeper walking off after a worker had left.]

Let's go.

Right

[Levy nods and raises from her seat easily. She stays a step behind Yukiko letting her take the lead.]

[Yukiko made sure to keep a decent distance, watching to see what the guy was planning. She could see that he was following one worker s they turned a corner, she could see he was getting closer, so she moved to get closer as well, a fan at the ready just in case.]

Are you ready?

[Levy nods bringing two fingers up in front of her. She can always just create a hole for the guy to fall into and then Yukiko can jump forward and snag him.]

Ready.

[She slowly started to move faster, closer to the person. That was until she stopped. She had figured something else. Would he tell them where the others were if they grabbed him. Well there was only one way to figure it out.]

Excuse me?

[She spoke up, causing the other to turn around and soon enough started to run, causing Yukiko to run after.]

Levy-san, now!

Got it!

[Levy holds out two fingers and then begins to spell the word int he air. It happens in an instant and the world HOLE appears on the ground beneath the man they are chasing. As he steps on the word the ground falters and falls beneath him.]

[Yukiko was glad he was at least caught right now and all she could do was kneel down next to the hall as the guy was trying to get out.

So far not good for the guy.]

You know we'll be happy to let you out there.

[But so far he was not planning on saying anything and might not plan on saying anything for a good few minutes until he felt defeated.]

I don't know what you are talking about.

[Levy stands on the other side of the hole. Her fingers posed in front of her in case she needs to attack.]

You should really answer honestly.

[She doesn't mind fighting someone stuck in a whole.]

We just want to know where they are. There families miss them very much and well you fit the profile of who was possible the last to see them.

[Yukiko knelt down so that she was close enough.]

I don't know who you are talking about

We know that isn't true. You followed those people and did something. Now where are they and we won't hurt you... Because my friend looks ready to do it.

[She looked at Levy and it was enough to send shivers down the guys spine.]

Fine... There is a warehouse a mile from here... they will be there.

[Levy feels her lips curl into a smile as she looks over at Yukiko.]

Want me to go check to see if his story is real?

[The hole will stay there and Yukiko can escort him to the prison while Levy free's those he's taken.]

I'll go. If they're hurt then I can help them.

[She at least hoped that they weren't but she knew she could heal if needed.]

[Levy nods.]

I'll stay here then and get him to the police station.

Great, then I will report that the bounty is done and give you a portion.

[Since she doesn't know the exact amount but will figure it out after she is paid for it. But for the meantime, she heads off toward the warehouse to where thankfully the people were safe and sound.]
