[Patchouli, as ever, was a pale, short, sickly looking and deceptively young looking woman in light and pale lavender pajama-like robes adorned with ribbons and a serious, but curious disposition.]

While I do not know the reason we were brought here, I find myself presented with a rather... unique opportunity. Several of us are indeed skilled in the magical arts, and yet there are different systems of magic in use, unfamiliar to me, but... fascinating.

I wish to 'compare notes' as it were, to know more about the varieties of magic here, and perhaps, ways they could possibly compliment each other.

I look forward to your response.

All the ladies call me lucky cause I'm magically delicious.

[A young girl would appear on the feed. Her bright blue eyes showed she herself was curious about this. As a sorceress herself, she felt she can relate to this.]

"I do not know if I fully understand what you are asking. Are you asking about what specifically each of us can do?"

[She flashed a tiny smile out of politeness. Finally, she's one of the big kids.]

"My name is Anastasia. When it comes to my magic, I do not know where to start, really..."

[Levy smiles, she likes this idea and she's happy to help.]

I think it's fascinating too. My own magic is called Solid Script. It allows me to create things through writing. Magic from my home is all different, it forms depending on the person.

What's your magic like?

[Geez, does this girl get out in the sunlight? Or even out of bed? Gale raises an eyebrow slightly, but eh. Who was he to judge.]

Depends on what it is you want to know. But I can't say my own form of magic is... 'natural,' as I figure it is for most wielders here.

Magic?

[ Where Konoka's reporting from might actually look a little familiar. Nevertheless her eyes are alight with curiosity. ]

Oh yeah, I have magic. From my world, most people are capable of magic, but it depends entirely on how much is stored within your spirit and the world around you. I happen to have a lot, but other than healing I'm still learning a lot of different stuff.

I am Patchouli.

Do you happen to have a specialty?

My specialty lies with elemental magic... The elements in question being fire, water, wood, metal, earth, sun and moon, each tied to a day of the week. There are many applications besides simply using it for non lethal spell card duels, like altering the weather, for example.

[ The only thing that gets her outside is Remilia's poking and the chance to research something new. ]

And what are the limits of your healing magic?

[That was going to be a tricky name. After a moment of mouthing it to herself, she moved on to answering.]

" I do not know if there is a proper term, but I have heard Destruction before. And...I have most definitely been called a Dark Child on more than one occassion..."

[ Konoka seemed a little embarrassed in being referred to this way. But nothing she could really do about it, though. ]

I have a card that allows me to heal most minor to mid-level wounds as long as it's less than three minutes, though I'm seeing if I can push that. I know of minor spells that can heal normally regardless, and then I have a mega-spell that heals nearly anything not reduced to chunky soup, but I can only use it once a day.

[ Well, if she wants to get into magic more, pronouncing difficult words will be something she'll need to get used to. ]

To be able to use magic at your age should be praised. If you want, I could, perhaps, teach you some of my beneficial spells.

Back where I came from, magic essentially went extinct to all but the Cardinal Deities, since they decided to rip magic out of everyone else's hands. Genetic engineering and contact with a particular kind of crystal is the only way to get it now.

[He taps one of the glowing blue marks on his neck.]

I've got a liquified version of that crystal running through me, so I can use basic elemental magics as if I were born with the ability. Fire, ice, lightning, wind, what have you. Unfortunately, I can't make a habit of using it here too often, since what gives me that magic is also basically what keeps me alive to begin with.

[He's still trying to think about getting alternatives for that one.]

"Beneficial spells? Like Holy magic, the arte of healing and protecting?"

[There has always been a slight issue for her in that field of magic.]

Perhaps.

It's possible to create a healing spell based on water, or to protect with the strength of water.

"I see... Water is my 'celestial' element. You see, Holy magic is strong in my people, except for me and my father. Neither he or I can heal anyone.

But you... If you are really offering, I can try to learn from you."

If you are willing to learn, I will be willing to teach.

"And I am willing to learn. When do we begin? And is there a way I should address you as my teacher?"

Sun would be light but what's Moon? Doesn't the moon simply reflect the light from the sun?

I, too, have expressed interest in such things, before. I wouldn't mind having an opportunity to learn more about the magic of other worlds, myself.

This evening, perhaps? And perhaps Miss Patchouli will do.

Considering my current residence, it would be unwise for you to come to me. Instead, I will visit you.

Which would make sense, were only the physical attributes were involved.

In my world, magic itself came from the moon.
