Video - Super ninja Mirai has arrived! And is totally confused.
[After her rather eventful 'expulsion' from her former school, Mirai had grown used to waking up in caves. That isn't what surprised her. What surprised her was the fact that she woke up in one without her friends around! In fact, this wasn't even their cave at all! And this thing she was in? Well, it was more comfortable then cave floor at least. But that wasn't important!
By the time she steps out of the cave she has more then enough knowledge to understand what has happened to her, but that doesn't mean she is just going to sit back and accept it! She's a girl at home on the internet, so the thought of reaching out to a bunch of strangers for answers wasn't that unusual to her. Of course she, much like many brought here, doesn't believe what she's been told anyway! Her youthful face looks like its doing its best to look calm, and her voice was only shaking a little bit. She was a big girl now, being alone wasn't that big of a deal!]
H...hmph! Is this someone's idea of a joke? Kidnapping is against the law, you know!
[Not that she was a person that really lived inside of the law back home, but that wasn't a thing anyone needed to know.]
Whoever you are, you must be pretty talented for me to have not even noticed it happening. I'll give you credit for that! And to have sneaked past the others as well! But your story writing is awful, who would believe any of that stuff? Some different world? That doesn't even make any sense!
[Her arms cross over what passes as her chest in an effort to look tough and in charge. Needless to say, she isn't exactly imposing.]

She'd be surprised if she even approached Remi in power. ]
I'm afraid you're trapped here like the rest of us.
no subject
Whaah! I..umm that is, what do you mean trapped? None of that stuff was really real! It couldn't be, there's no way there is some weird other world.
[Her one visible eye narrows. Even after that embarrassing display, she's still trying to not look like a weakling. She puts on her best Serious Time face as she responds to Patchouli.]
This isn't your doing, is it?
no subject
[ And Patchouli raises an eyebrow. As if she was even that powerful... ]
No. I'm quite incapable of creating a realm like this.
no subject
N...no way! That can't be, if it is.....
[Then she was all alone! Even after convincing herself mere moments ago that was fine, it didn't mean she actually liked it.]
But I was with all the others when I went to sleep! I'm really in...some weird place? Why would someone bring ME here?
no subject
[ That of course doesn't mean she's going to stop trying to find out as much as she can about this place, ]
no subject
[The girl can't hide her disappointment. It seems its all real after all, and the answer why doesn't seem like its common knowledge. Or at least this lady didn't know, at least!]
So I'm homeless now! W..well, I already was but.....that is beside the point!
[She could always find another cave, it was the rest of her team she was concerned about.]

[You've just struck a sore point for her, Patchy!]
I...I'm 16, you know!
[Which yes Mirai, IS still technically a child. But good luck convincing her of that!]
video;
[Well he tried at least, but was currently having to deal with a few things, death having been one of them anyway.]
Re: video;
So it really is true? All of it? But..I don't want to be here without my friends!
[Its not like she has a lot of them, now she has to start over?!]
video;
But I understand not wanting to be here without ones friends. I still kind of miss my closest friends.
Re: video;
I...I'm sure I'll be okay, though. At least for a little while before I get home!
video;
Re: video;
[There's a short pause.]
That doesn't mean I am little, though. Or short!
video;
[He sighed slightly.]

"There's probably a few pessimists running around who would rather not have, and would like to take it up with an authority. Glad to see you're not one of those!
Anyway, what I mean is that your arrival may be closer kin to the analogue of birth than abduction. And a much more convenient birth, too; when I was born, for example, I wasn't given any money, age, or even a brochure! I was inconsolable at the time.
Does such a theory make things more palatable? I'm trying it out.
no subject
That's just silly! When you're born, you also don't know anything. You don't have a life, or friends, or personality, or anything! But I have all of those things, and the only thing that hasn't been taken away is my winning personality!
no subject
You see? An entirely convenient birth, with all the conveniences of accrued experience. The friends will come in time.
no subject
I...huh? No, you don't get it at all, I'm saying that it isn't like being born at all. I was already born once! This is just weird kidnapping!

Mirai. And I'm not an expert, this is the first time. Assuming it actually even happened at all!
[Video]
[ You also remind her of Eva-chan, so she's not intimidated at all sorry. ]
But ummm, you're actually kinda trapped. The city itself summoned you here really.
Re: [Video]
[She isn't really sure how she feels about that! It isn't really an insult, and it seems like its being said completely honestly, but it is a weird way to greet someone!]
U..ummm...thanks.
[So much for trying to not look weak right off the bat.]
What do you mean the city summoned me, cities don't do that! They just get lived in!
Re: [Video]
[ Konoka is resisting the urge to plaster her in a hug, and only succeeding because this is a video and not in reality. ]
I haven't been here very long myself but there's a lot of stuff to do. Where are you?
Re: [Video]
I don't know where I am, I just woke up in some weird cave! And now my shoes are all covered in sand, too.
[Which is the least of her complaints right now, but its still annoying!]
Re: [Video]
Re: [Video]
[Still, actually living in a city is a step up. The life of a renegade is not easy for a stylish teenage girl after all.]
Who are you, anyway? Its weird just talking to random people I just met without even knowing what to call them.
Re: [Video]
I suppose it is, but I've seen plenty of weird cities!
Name's Konoka Konoe. Pleased to meet you!
Re: [Video]
[She repeats it a few times. Apparently, she likes the way it rolls off her tongue.]
You can call me Mirai.
[Which is all she's offering for now. She's proud of what she is capable of, but she isn't going to volunteer any information that could be used against her until she knew for sure this whole thing wasn't a big trick being played on her.]
Re: [Video]
[ The alliteration in her name was always kiiiinda embarrassing, yet intriguing at the same time. That's why when Mirai looks at her again, Konoka's got a slight red tinge to her cheeks. But she shrugs that off. ]
I know I'm not particularly an expert to this place, but just come to me if you have any questions, okay?
[Audio]
A robotic voice speaks comes forth from her device.]
Depende de lo que entendemos por broma. El secuestro, o todo lo que ha escuchado hasta ahora? Aunque, por desgracia para ti, ni es una broma. Tampoco es mi falta de palabras en inglés, lo que sin duda piensa que es una broma también.
[And also, just to add a little more to the pot there:]
Tómelo de un hombre que ha viajado con algunos de los idiotas más grandes en el mundo: hay peores historias por ahí. Trate de escuchar una de reuniones de ánimo de Sarge, o cualquier buñuelo canta o dice.
Re: [Audio]
Aaah! W...what the hell is that? Is this machine possessed by a yoma or something?
[There's a sound that is likely her tapping her finger against her device.]
I'm not scared, you know!
[Clearly she's trying to convince herself, not the mystery robo-voice.]
Re: [Audio]
No. Esto no es un Yoma. A menos que un Yoma es un robot con una unidad de traducción roto, entonces sí, sí lo es.
[It probably isn't, though.]
[Trust him, he works with men who have tried to pull that 'I'm not scared" front multiple times. He knows what to look, or in this case listen, for.]
Re: [Audio]
[There's a pause before she starts speaking again.]
Actually...I think I sort of do! That makes even less sense, none of this makes any sense at all!
Re: [Audio]
[Although Lopez is admittedly still getting used to a larger pool of people that can understand him, or at least put in the effort to try and understand him.]
Y no, realmente no tiene ningún sentido.
[Lopez has learned to simply roll with this kind of thing.]
no subject
[Not a question, and not entirely serious. He's only been here a few weeks and this takes the cake.]
no subject
[Clearly, holograms aren't impressive to her!]
no subject
You'll have to open your mind in time. This is all more real than than you might want it to be.
no subject
We...we'll see. No normal person would be able to kidnap me, so I still think it might be just some sort of trick.
