Unofficial Mission Log - Video:
(Mark, upon waking, immediately fumbles for the device he remembers from the last time he was in this place and grins as it turns on and sets it on video.
He was getting good at figuring these things out.
But something is wrong. Mark looks much thinner than he did the last time he had woken up in the docks and he definitely looks as if he's been in a fight due to the wound due to the faceplate on his helmet shattering and causing a gash on his forehead - but if he was in better mood he would really just laugh, crack some lame joke, and explain the HAB just breached and the whole incident almost killed him.
Basically? The HAB kicked his ass out of being past retirement age.
Of course the joke wouldn't reach his eyes which seem...much more serious and filled with less light than they had been before.)
Well, guys. Looks like I somehow made it back. Thank you space gods. I was definitely dreading having to clean up and put the HAB back together again...there was a lotta crap NASA had to send and all.
And sleeping in the rover sucks...even with the bonus of waking up here my back hurts.
(Of course, he was more or less dreading having to discover what the incident did to his potato crop.
He wonders if Rick is still around. He could at least tell his friend who mentioned the idea that he tried.)
For anyone who doesn't know...I'm Mark Watney. Hi. I'm supposed to be some guy who ended up dying on Mars, but as you can see...those reports were horribly exaggerated.
(Mark finds herself lying back down into the box. After being tossed around like a rag doll and having to body slam the airlock what felt like a few thousand times after that - he's definitely more than fine with the idea of not moving out of the box right away.)
Looks like nothing's changed much so far. Tell me, I'm right, will ya?

Re: Video
(Mark frowns.)
I can definitely tell you I wasn't this much of a skeleton before.
Video
A skeleton? Are you alright?
Re: Video
I mean I did go tumbling around in an airlock not too long ago. Then had to body slam the airlock to the rover. And there is the issue with having to ration food...
I'm in one piece, though. I consider that a success?
Video
If you were surviving on rations perhaps I can offer you a small meal?
[She can't dismiss someone who might be in need of help which is also why she doesn't comment on him joking about the matter.]
Re: Video
Video
I'll met you in Genessia then. Where are you now?
[She's already heading out of the Inn in Fayren and over to Genessia.]
Re: Video
Walking takes him longer but he finally makes it out of the area and into the city itself.)
Video
Where are you now? I can head closer to you.
[She knows the archways decently well now that she's worked to map them out..]
