[When the video starts, Dante can be seen lounging on a couch at Gale's place, his sword leaning against a nearby wall, with his gun holster draped over the hilt.]

So, that hologram girl at the entrance that gives that introductory speech said something about people being safer here than in their own worlds. That got me to thinking. How many of you guys are fighters? And what's the craziest thing you've had to fight?

Heck, I'll even go first. One of my first jobs was in this tower that was created to connect the human and demon world. There were two guys responsible. One I knew - but he's a story for another time - and the other was this whackjob priest calling himself Arkham. He got his hands on the key to the seal keeping the worlds separate, a sword containing the power of an incredibly strong demon. I was expecting him to turn into some heavily armored knight-type demon but when he unleashed his 'true' power, he turned into this giant blob of neon blue slime. It was kinda hilarious.

[He winces a little, almost looking a little mad on Dante's behalf.]

Seriously? Geez. And here I thought Tanya was a terrifying woman to deal with, but at least she just dragged me on shopping sprees to use me as a pack mule and not to pay for everything.

[He pauses a moment, then looks at Dante, narrowing an eye.]

... y'know, it only just occurred to me. You actually look a lot like Tanya's brother. Only slightly more attractive.

[And by 'slightly more' he means 'a lot more'. He does prefer Dante's company over Alighieri's.]

She's scary yeah, but I've got mad respect for her. She's been through hell and hasn't let it affect her. To say nothing of being in a male dominated world and kicking more ass than entire nations of dudes.

[He laughs.]

Tanya must have a really attractive brother then.

[He quirks an eyebrow.]

That does sound impressive. That kind of resolve alone is rare in a person. I'm not sure if I want to meet her though, but then again, I do love a woman that can kick my ass.

[He chuckles, glancing away while patting Gunner's head.]

I may have made a move on him once or twice. And his sister. Can't say it ever worked though. Buuut I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're still better looking than he is.

[Yep, shameless flirting from Gale yet again.]

Yeah. She's a scary one, and if I'm going to work with anyone, she's just my type.

[He's just going to chuckle again, shrugging.]

Can't argue with that. I mean, I am pretty amazing.

Sure sounds like you and your companions are forces to be reckoned with. If either of them show up, remind me not to get on any bad sides.

[He and his sisters were a pretty dangerous trio back in the day, so he couldn't help but think about them a little. It was more of a case that they were dangerous pilots, but still.

He picks up Gunner and sits the dog down between them so he can lean forward and grab another slice of pizza. He glanced over his shoulder and winked.]

Well, to be fair, I've only seen you strike some stylish poses and generally look good. I haven't gotten to see you in action to see if you live up to the hype or not.

Give it time. I don't go looking for trouble but trouble has a knack of finding me.

Just do me a favor and keep the trouble outside. I like my apartment to stay tidy and in one piece, thanks. This place is expensive to rent out anyway.
