[When the feed begins, one will see Azalea in a rather dark, lush green jungle. Azalea herself looks quite pleased.]
Hello, Genessia. I'm here to announce that I've opened a sub-archway of my own...a little piece of the Viridian Labyrinth in Sornieth, known as the Shrieking Wilds.
[She falls silent for a moment so that the audience can hear all the shrieking going on, all sorts of cries from various creatures hiding in the trees.]
And it seems that the other dragons from the Kalma Clan were brought in along with the sub-archway as well...
[Almost as if on cue, a brown Mirror dragon with azure wings, much larger than Azalea, hovers over her, peering at her screen in curiosity. Azalea looks up at him and smiles, reaching up to pet his snout lovingly.]
Ah...this is my mate, Coco.
[And then another Fae appears, even smaller than Azalea, with different patterns and colors. Azalea reaches up to cup his chin.]
And this is our son, Kincaid. If you want to meet my other friends, you can come and visit the sub-archway located in Fayren. I've spoken with our leader, Qubine, and he's agreed to allow visitors. My friends may be wary at first, due to the war with the Beastclans at home. Just respect them, and we should get along fine.
[OOC: For reference, the first two pages of dragons in this lair can be found in the subarchway.]

Eventually she stopped babbling, still all smiles. "I'm glad you found a place of your own but if you want somewhere to go ever you can always come back to Chireiden, okay?" As if on cue Garchomp wandered over to investigate, peeking over Koishi's shoulder at the phone before huffing softly and wandering away.
"I want to come visit you though Little Dragon. Okay?" Oh no. Koishi would need to be supervised. for sure. "Please?"
[Video, Private]
So that's your son...how cute. You must be glad to have your family here with you.
[Video]
Azalea wasn't sure how well the other dragons would take petting and hugging, especially the Mirrors and Guardians.
"If you do visit, just remember what I said before, okay?"
[Video, Private]
Yes...I'm so proud of them. They've become some of the most powerful dragons in our clan. I am glad to have them here, because they can help me in battle. And I don't feel so alone anymore.
no subject
Ohhh boy. Well, even if she was excited at least her intentions were in the right place... Hopefully her commotion wasn't attracting too much attention. The phone could only view so much at once and it would be bad if Koishi got MORE excited...
"Where is the archway Little Dragon? I want to meet all your wonderful friends and your mate and your son and all the others too! I want to see your world! It looks so amazing just from the little camera!"
no subject
She couldn't see Qubine enjoying things like that from a complete stranger.
"As for the archway, you can find it in the forest to the north."
[Video] --> [Action]
Wait, she was coming over now?!?
Too late! She already hung up. Taking off, Koishi flew quickly through the forest, circling, searching... and finding the shining archway very quickly.
Without hesitation she dove and slipped right on through. "I'm here!" She called. Oh boy this was gonna be difficult...
[Action]
When she arrived, Azalea came to greet her.
"Hello, Koishi. These are all my friends."
She gestured to the dragons gathered around, staring at Koishi curiously. Just what was that creature with only two legs?
[Action]
Without really waiting for permission, Koishi floated over to the nearest dragon, probably leaning much too far into its personal space. "Hello there! I'm Koishi Komeiji and I want to be your friend, okay?"
So much energy...
[Action]
"Wait, Coco, it's okay!" Azalea assured him, hoping to calm him down before he hurt Koishi.
Coco did indeed back off, but now he was the nearest dragon that Koishi foated up to. And he backed off even more to regain some personal space.
"This is Coco...my mate," Azalea said. "He can be overprotective of me."
[Action]
Koishi was laughing some... and then the ruffling began. kneading his cheeks and rubbing behind his frills... And just as quickly she stopped, zipping off to the next one. Koishi pls...
[Action]
Next was a Guardian dragon, who was one of the largest. He was dressed as a pirate, complete with eye patch and sword.
"That's Malus," Azalea said to the little youkai.
"Ahoy, ye aren't gonna do that t' me too, are ye, lassie?"
[Action]
And then she picked up the large dragon's hat very gently, placing her own on top of his head and placing the pirate hat on top of her own. She giggled, drifting to one side, the brim falling a bit over her eyes. She looked very silly in a pirate hat.
Well, she'd never seen a pirate hat before Probably not too much of a surprise...
And then she moved on to the next dragon. She was still wearing the pirate hat but would undoubtedly give it back when she was done. After all, she'd want her own back.
video;
[Fai was always glad when his friends were happy.]
[Action]
Next was Shayla, the sky blue speckled Spiral with night sky silks. Qubine stood right next to her, glaring at Koishi. Like Coco was with Azalea, Qubine would be overprotective of Shayla, for she was his mate. While Shayla looked pleased to meet Koishi, Qubine was glaring at her suspiciously.
video;
Thank you, Fai. Perhaps you or Sakura could visit sometime?
video;
[And he did like to make her happy more than anything.]
[Action]
"Oh my gosh! You're so lovely and blue. I love blue and I love blue on you! It's such a wonderful and regal color and it's all over and-"
While she wasn't at risk of detonating or anything like that, someone should probably calm the Koiball down.
[ video ]
I'm happy for you. What did you give up for this subarchway?
[ video ]
[She looks off to the side for a brief moment before looking at the screen again.]
Qubine's not too happy about that, but we'll manage.
[She's not the only one in her clan who has that spell, after all.]
[Action]
"Enough!" He then tried to pry the Koiball from the Spiral dragon.
[Action]
Good luck removing her.
[Action]
"Okay..." Azalea scratched her head. "Koishi, can you let go of him? That's Qubine, our clan leader. He's the one that you really don't want to mess with."
[Action]
She didn't seem like she was keen on letting go anytime soon. But she also wasn't really doing any harm other than being an affectionate pest. A very rude affectionate pest.
[Action]
Qubine just let out an annoyed sigh. "Of course...that's why I have you."
Since trying to remove Koishi from him didn't work, Azalea needed a different method.
"Koishi, why don't you meet my other friends? Like Amadeus here." She gestured to the furry orange Tundra dragon with the shabby waistcoat, brown fedora, and glasses.
Yes, some dragons even wear glasses.
[ video ]
{ But it probably wouldn't even let him, since it wouldn't be much of a sacrifice; it would be a gift to be free of it. }
At first glance, your world resembles my own, in the distant past.

no subject
Who is that?
[Azalea looks none too pleased to hear from this guy either.]
You! What did I tell you about speaking to me!?
[ video ]
[She grows curious about the world resemblance, though.]
Really? In what way?
no subject
He waved at Coco. "Hey. I'm Johnny. I head up a support group for your friend there. Ya know, try and keep her on the straight and narrow. Typical stuff.
I think you said during our last session to speak up if any of us thought you were in a bad scene. It was pretty brave; really proud of you.
no subject
I said not to speak to me anymore, and that I would burn you alive if we ever met in person. And now, you'd be lucky if my friends don't decide to devour you.
[Qubine scoffs behind her.]
You wouldn't make a decent meal anyway. Consider yourself lucky.
[ video ]
{ Zeref sighs, and closes his eyes. }
Four hundred years into the past of my world, dragons were the dominant species of my world. While they were every bit as intelligent and capable of speech as humans, the majority saw humans as little more than sources of food. But, there were others, who wanted to coexist with humans, who thought it was morally wrong to treat other sentient species as cattle. I knew one such dragon.
[ video ]
We have no humans in Sornieth, but there are some Beastclan species that have similar qualities. While the Beastclans are at war with dragonkind, we don't see them as a source of food. So I wouldn't think that humans would be considered a source of food either...

[So all the dragons were this much fun, then. John was beginning to see why Azalea did it.]
"Hey, real talk. I know it can be hard to deal with this place, but try not to get too wrapped up in your own fantasy world, all right? I can tell by the thread that there are real people who care about you. You should spend time with them; it's a lot healthier." He then addresses the group.
"Nice to meet you too, but I gotta go. Nice to see she's got such good fakes--er, I mean, friends. Peace."
no subject
A cry for help, he says? [Qubine adds.] His death would be a big help.
[Action]
She pressed her face into the fluff, nuzzling it, babbling out an unending stream of what were probably compliments, though her words were far too muffled to make out properly.
[Action]
Amadeus looks absolutely baffled as she hugs him and muffles all that speech.
"I beg your pardon, young lady, but I can't understand a word you're saying...."
[ video ]
[ video ]
[Now that's a scary thought.]
How did they become extinct?
[ video ]
{ Zeref frowned. He never liked talking about this subject. }
One Dragon Slayer in particular took it too far. He became drunk with power, and began slaughtering every dragon he came across, friend and foe. To this day, he remains a menace in my world that needs to be put down.
[ video ]
[That doesn't sit well with Azalea, and even less so with Qubine, who's listening over her shoulder. He doesn't seem to show any expression, but knowing him, Azalea figures he's making a mental note to kill anyone with such a power.]
...Is there anyone with that sort of magic here?
[ video ]
{ Zeref's expression suddenly sours, as his tone of voice lowers. }
That said, if somebody by the name of Acnologia were to appear in this world... I ask that you inform me immediately. He would be a grave threat not just to you, but everybody in Genessia.
[ video ]
[Azalea raises an eye at the name, though. It sounds like a complicated one.]
"An...Anco...logia?" [She glances over her shoulder briefly.] Can you write that down? Acnologia.
[She turns to Zeref again.] All right, we'll let you know if we meet anyone by that name.
[ video ]
Thank you. He is a far worse monster than any of the dragons he hunted.
{ If he does appear, he thinks to himself, I only hope Fairy Tail doesn't try anything stupid. }
[ video ]
[And then another question pops into mind.]
I suppose I should ask your name as well. I don't think we've been introduced in the times that we've spoken.
[ video ]
{ Zeref's expression softens at that. }
I am Zeref.
[ video ]
All right, we'll keep an eye out. I am Azalea.
