[After waking up in the Bay, a young girl named Elize was reasonably upset. If not for her odd-patterned doll, Teepo, she might have begun to panic. Elize made her way out of the Bay, with Teepo followed close by with a box in his mouth.

When they crossed into the city, they both stared in awe. Teepo dropped the box when his mouth gaped in shock.]


"Teepo...? I don't think we're in Sharilton anymore..."

[Elize had seen the box Teepo had and knelt down to examine it. She found brochures, an amulet, a strange device and a manual. She spent some time reading them over while Teepo watches over her shoulder.]


"Genessia...? How did we get here? And this one says this is used to talk to other people far away..."


"Then we can use it to find Jude and Milla and everyone else!"

[Elize fiddled with the device while following the instructions...]

[VIDEO]

[Eventually, she managed to activate the device to a public broadcast to find her friends. However, before she could say anything, Teepo got in front of the camera, yelling frantically.]


"HELP! Someone help us! We've been teeponapped! We're cold, hungry, alone and WE CAN'T FIND OUR FRIENDS!"

[The voice of a young girl told the doll to calm down and it was removed from the camera's eye, then the girl herself could be seen. She looked just as shy about speaking in public like this as how much Teepo embarrassed her.]


"umm... Hello? I'm Elize Lutus, and this is Teepo. I don't know how we got here, and we're looking for our friends. Their names are Jude, Milla, Leia, Rowen, and... ...That's all."


"We're totally not forgetting anyone on purpose or anything."

... I can't say I recognize any of those names, sorry. I'm Sein, and I live in Nova City. Do you want help getting adjusted to this place?

[Elize nods.]

"That would be helpful, thank you."

[dives_through_rock]

I can be at the Bay in around five minutes. Just stay put.

[teepokisses]

"Okay. We'll be here."

[Once the waiting began, Elize was starting to feel nervous.]


"I hope this was the right thing to do."


"Don't worry, Elly. If anything happens, I'll protect you."

[dives_through_rock]

[A few minutes later... Someone suddenly launches out of the water! The... six-inch-deep water. About twenty feet away from Elize. It's a girl in a nun-like habit, smiling like crazy as she lands on her feet and dramatically turns to Elize.] ... Did I get the entrance right? [... She tried to look cool. She really did.]

[teepokisses]

"AHH! It's a water monster!"


"Teepo, it's only the girl from before...
That really was neat. How did you do that?"

[dives_through_rock]

"Oh, it's just a little trick of mine! ... Actually it's basically my only power, so I gotta show it off when I can!"

Sein bowed with a chuckle.

"You'd have to ask people who aren't here how exactly it works, but I can basically swim through solid objects."

[teepokisses]

"That's so cool! You're like a fish!"


"So... How are you going to help us again? You said you'll help us 'get adjusted."

[dives_through_rock]

"Well, a lot of that's up to you, ultimately. If you know anyone you're comfortable staying with, that'd be ideal. Er, as long as it's not one of the crazies that are around here." Sein blinked, quickly elaborating, "Supervillains. Some of whom may be feigning being ex-supervillains. And some who actually are. It's complicated."

[teepokisses]

[One crazy person she knows of is Ivar. He would most definitely not be ideal.]

"None of our friends answered our last call, and we don't know anyone."

[dives_through_rock]

[... At least two of the Genessia supervillains would be better caretakers for Elize than Ivar. This is genuinely scary to think about.] "Okay, so, you're on your own then. That produces a tougher situation, because I'm not entirely sure what the best services for 'real' children are here. Quick summary there: The necklace that was with your stuff when you woke up marks you as 'real'. A lot of the people in this city are... Some kind of illusion. It's complicated. So... Yeah. Er..." ... Sein considered her options in this situation. Taking the girl in herself seemed like a bad idea. But then, who should she go to? Maybe call someone for ideas? But she needed to seem confident, right?

[teepokisses]

"Oh, so I need to wear it? Well, it is really pretty and I was going to keep it in Teepo for safe keeping."


"Elly wears a necklace already."

[dives_through_rock]

"I recommend keeping it immediately handy, at the minimum. The 'Archways' that let you get between cities only work when you're wearing the necklace."

[teepokisses]

"Oh, is that so?"

[Elize removed the necklace she was already wearing and holds it out to Teepo.]

"Here you go, Teepo. Keep this safe for me, okay?"


"You got it!"

[Teepo opened his mouth wide open and Elize dropped the necklace into his mouth. The chain dangled from his mouth, so he sucked it up like a spaghetti noodle with a obnoxious slurp. Then a burp.

Elize proceeds to put the green amulet on and looked to Sein for her opinion.]


"How does it look?"

"... Did Teepo just swallow that? Does that actually keep things safe?" Sein blinked a couple of times. "It looks good, though, which is neat."

[teepokisses]

"Teepo can do a lot of things on top of being really cute."


"I can sing, dance, talk, fight, eat, sleep, stretch and double as an accessory case."

[dives_through_rock]

"... I see?" Sein blinked a time or two."... As for a safe place to stay... Er..."
