[ Waking up in an unusual place she had absolutely no recollection of truly had been a little disarming in itself but the information needed was right at her fingertips and that had indeed been a blessing. Though over anything else it was the sight of one of her own family doing the welcoming and it had been a touch surprising as she didn't remember leaving Weiss alone for THAT long.

So it's with no surprising level of calm that Winter uses to regard the device with as it turns on, her piercing blue eyes and hair easily bearing a resemblance to the Schnee name even without an introduction but it wouldn't be right if she didn't. ]

Good evening, residents of Genessia.

[ Her tone matches her appearance; curt and polite as anything else. ]

I am Winter Schnee of the Atlesian Military from the Land known as Remnant. Like the rest of you I have been apprehended and brought here against my will, and as such, if any individuals here can bear any further information on Genessia and beyond, it would be appreciated.

[ Her strict demeanor seems to soften for just a touch and she exhales a soft sigh. Not many would be able to discern the shift but it's there nonetheless. ]

Weiss. If you see this, please contact me. We need to have a talk.

[ As an afterthought she does add something to the end. Simple and straight-edged as ever, her composure never once breaking or seeming to bear much in concern to her situation. ]

I will also extend an inquiry to those who may hail from Remnant like myself. If you are here and you have any information regarding the recent events that occurred in Vale, I would like to be informed about them at once.

Winter..!

[ Weiss doesn't even care that this is a public video. Or that she's 19 now and that's probably going to confuse Winter a little. It's her sister, who she's only seen in memories for two years. She's damn well going to look like the happiest person on the damn planet to see her.

Thank god she's okay. Do you know how difficult it is to have communication down, be taken by your own father away from everything, and not know where your sister is? She wasn't in Vale, at least, but that didn't make it any more comforting. ]

Winter, follow the directions to Schnee Company, there's one right at the Bay. I'll come pick you up from there.

I'm betting Weiss is going to jump for joy when she realizes that you are here. [Or do something more dignified. But god. Two Schnees? How will this place ever cope.]

I'm Sun Wukong, I don't know if Weiss ever mentioned me or anything. A lot of people from our world have been showing up lately, it seems.

Wow. I don't think I've ever seen anyone that legitimately stiff before. Granted I tend to stay away from military-types. They get jealous of my toys.

[ More and more reasons to why they needed to talk was quickly popping up by the moment. One important reason being that her little sister looked actually older than she remembered and that wasn't right. Though she focuses on the words over anything else first and gives her a curt nod. ]

Alright. I'll expect your arrival in a few minutes, then.

[ Never did she think she'd hear that her own little sister was coming to pick her up, so forgive the slight, good natured amusement that has her smiling briefly even as she's already moving to head there without any delays. ]

I'm in Nova City, but I'll call them to let them know to let you into my office. Armin probably didn't bother to move my things, so it should be fine even if I'm not using it right now.

[ Weiss is going to drive though, so it won't take too long. Because that's another thing she learned- how to drive. Even if her teachers were a little.. unorthodox. But Winter said a few minutes, so it's going to be a few minutes. Soon, Winter will see a car pulling into the Schnee Co. parking lot in a spot that says 'Reserved.' ]

[ Well. Look at you, sir. Certainly more... exposed than most students she's seen wandering around that school, but she's dignified enough not to comment on this and focusing on the matter at hand. ]

It's... a pleasure to meet you, Sun Wukong. She has indeed mentioned you before but this is the first time I have been able to put a face to the name she spoke of in her letters.

[ Then he brings up that one subject and it kind of has her attention and concern. How could so many of them be appearing here so easily as he said? ]

I see. That would be a relief if it were not for the effect our disappearances may have on Remnant as a whole.

[Yes, he most certainly is. He's not ashamed of it either..but that much is probably obvious. Weiss must not have mentioned his usual state of dress.]

Nice to meet you too, Winter. I hope Weiss had good things to say about me. [It was hard to tell with Weiss.] Us being here doesn't have an effect on our world. Me and Weiss have both been here a long time and we don't seem to have disappeared from Remnant.

[ It wasn't much but hearing those two names spoken from someone of worth and authority from Ozpin did fill her with relief, even if Weiss's appearance here went without saying due to the rather informative hologram message she had left beforehand. Ozpin himself also appeared to look well at least considering everything. ]

Thank you for confirming that for me, sir. I'll make sure to keep an eye out for the General after I speak with Weiss.

There is something I do wish to ask of him as soon as possible, after all.

[ Then you had to mention him and her composure slips a bit, one of her eyes twitching at the man's name and Winter visibly bristles. ]

That drunken degenerate?!

[ Oops. Reeling it in. ]

[ as he settles into his chair, with an amused expression, and a knowing look. ]

At the rate that we've all been showing up here, I imagine he'll be next... welcome to Genessia.

Are you alright?

[ Something about this guy kind of reminds her of Qrow; perhaps it's the attitude. An eyebrow raises and she tilts her head to the side slightly in a gesture that could be nearly mocking in itself. ]

I can assure you that no matter how you may regard yourself or your 'toys', they are not something worth getting jealous over.

[ Skill spoke more than words or the mere appearance of what you could use as weapons. She would get that point across soon enough. ]

[ If this ever gets spoken to Qrow she will legitimately lose it, Ozpin. She can tell a knowing look when she sees one but holds her tongue on this matter lest she say something she may regret, even if the idea of Qrow appearing at all leaves a sour taste in her mouth.

A frown etches itself into her features then, briefly before she nods. ]

I'm alright, yes. I can't say I condone the manner of myself and others so freely taken from our home without so much as a spoken consent, as I do not remember being here when I last had been conscious.

[ oh, winter. you're just like your sister. you need to obtain a sense of humor, too. ]

I don't think you'll find very many who approve of our current situation, but this place has been peaceful, thusfar.

What is the last thing you remember from home?

[ The last she had seen her sister, she was still unable to do summoning and lacked the proper confidence in herself where that was concerned. Here, it seemed she was older and even ran her own company; so self-reliant than before and admittedly she was proud of her for it.

Something she mused on as she headed to the office in question, finding it easily and posing all the regality as she normally exuded when she'd walked in. Curiously she took a look around the office, surveying everything until the sound of a vehicle caught her attention and upon laying eyes on the car in question out in the parking lot, hesitated. Mainly because even more curious was that Weiss could drive now as well, aware it was her as even from a distance she could pick up on her sibling's familiar appearance.

[ Definitely hadn't mentioned anything about this young man's choice of clothing or how he wore it. Weiss had said something about Sun coming from Vacuo so perhaps that was something that students did up there, though she couldn't be particularly sure about that yet. ]

More or less. She has told me about your skills as a fighter, that you hail from the Kingdom of Vacuo and that you share something in common with her teammate, Miss Belladonna.

[ It technically meant their faunus nature but Weiss had only stated just as she'd said with little elaboration past that. There was a reason for it, surely. ]

A long time, you say? I only recently just spoke with my sister before arriving here. Is that what you're referring to when you say it isn't as if you've disappeared at all from Remnant?

[ Weiss hasn't really grown much in the last two years. Her features look a little more refined and she has different clothes, even if they still have the Schnee logo on them and are typically white, blue, and red. She doesn't do much to hide the scar on her hand in the shape of Torchwick's symbol, but she's still wearing long sleeves, at least. It's not immediately noticeable, but it isn't hidden either. ]

Winter!

[ Weiss's voice rings out as soon as she finds herself in her office. Older and self-reliant or not, her big sister being here was more than enough to put a smile on her face.. even if the smile was strained. There had been too much going on lately for it to be entirely unfettered. ]

I can't believe you're really here..

Yeah. We uh..both have a love of books. [He isn't sure if he can mention the Faunus thing because Blake's Faunus nature isn't something he can divulge. It's her secret to share.] I'm also a Faunus, in case she hasn't mentioned that. [He waggles his tail on screen.]

That's exactly what I meant. Weiss and I both have been here for more than a year. She'll tell you the exact same if you ask her.

Welcome, Schnee.

[ Even if he hasn't been here long, what handful of familiar faces around - at least, the ones he likes - are more than welcome in his book. So he appears mildly pleased, sounds it too. It's his public face, or something close to it, as he hasn't seen fit to lock his messages to her.

If you would care to meet me, I can offer some information in regards to your request.

[ As for the level of detail... that remains to be seen. ]

Weiss' Sister?

[There's a flicker of recognition. Weiss, he knew for her singing, but he had only began to bother learning about any politics and military when he had grades that counted on it. So Winter is still just Weiss' sister to him.]

Weiss will be happy to see you. [She probably needed her right now, to be honest.]

[Here, have another guy who's upper body is more exposed than it should be.

Zaveid whistles.]

I suppose if anything, that is a relief.

[ There's a second then, in which she hesitates, gaze trailing away from the screen before she glances straight ahead and back at Ozpin firmly. ]

Watching those soldiers turning against the people of Vale and then the communication in the kingdom getting cut off.

[ That should give you an idea of things there. Hell broke loose around Beacon and in Vale, even if it wasn't all shown and then communication dying off entirely? She wanted to know what the heck was going on, her eyes saying this even if she wasn't doing so physically. ]
