[Today is one of those days, when a new arrival destroys the hologram with fire. ...Seems like she's completely overdoing it and the flames are still there when there's nothing else left. After a moment Cinder turns the device around to show herself with an arrogant smirk on her face. Nope, she's got no reason to hide at this point.]

Well, looks like most things haven't changed here. How very [pause, wait for it~] Disappointing.

[Ah, so not a new arrival then and despite the fire back there, she's calm. What did Weiss do to her? Nothing, but maybe destroying that thing is still much more personal when you come from the same world.]

And she's still saying "this place is fairly safe" even though anyone can wake up here whenever. So consider that when I ask you; do you believe her?

[Fairly safe sounds so boring after ~~almost~~ everything back home. Not that Cinder is really complaining about being here, this time the timing was great and there's always the option of making this place less safe. Be prepared?]

[ it's not very often that ozpin feels legitimate fear -- and, really, he doesn't feel it now. there's a tightening in his chest, an anxious pressure, but it isn't for his safety. it's pyrrha, and ruby, and the rest of his students -- and glynda, and james. and every single thing that cinder has done to destroy his institution, his school, and his kingdom.

this woman is dangerous, but it's more than that. she's a murderer -- she killed one of his students, and possibly killed him. the latter is less important to him, as ozpin is fairly certain he's alive, and being brought to her -- but pyrrha nikos will never see the light of day. partially because of him, and partially because of cinder.

and now she's here, in what may as well be a fish bowl, and no one can escape, and he has literally no options at his fingertips. the chess board is in motion, but what can he do? kill her? something itches in him, old adrenaline, to do exactly that, and handle this on his own. but he's still recovering, and he's not dragging anyone else into this mess. what needs to be done? how can be protect his students this time? and not fail miserably, like he did before?

[ when the feed turns on, he looks as calm and serene as ever, his hands folded neatly in his lap, settled into an armchair in some nondescript location. he looks bright-eyed and alert, but he's tired.

not that he's going to let that on. ]

Jaune's not aware of his surroundings, or the fact that he's tossed his videophone with the loudest, rawest scream he's ever made. So Cinder, enjoy the short view of Jaune's room spinning before the video times out.

It's the only warning he gives her before he grabs his gear and heads to the Bay. Cinder has to die. Shehastodieshehastopay she will pay.

There aren't any tears, nothing. He's almost calm as he sprints there as fast as possible. Adrenaline has its uses. But he gets there as soon as he can, his shield in front of him, sword by his side. He's panting a little, but only because he's so livid right now.]

Stop. Destroying. Everything that matters to us.

[If this was Cinder's first time here, surely her reaction on seeing him would be different. But no, it's not her first time here and that means she knows how this place works.]

[She sounds cold, still not doing anything to that smirk on face. Oh wait, actually it's getting wider. Does he really think that she will discuss or worse, agree on anything here?]

No, we don't as it is not your business at all. But since you're here, maybe this time you won't miss your [short pause, let her think of a nice word for it!] responsibilities burning to ashes.

[She'll start with Jaune, okay? Sounds perfect considering the boy's message to her.]

[ he has his eyes on that and is already alerting the calvary, but he continues speaking in a calm tone. don't let her see the twist in his stomach, or the anger. anger and discontent only breeds grimm, after all. ]

[ he folds his hands in his lap, his eyes narrowing slightly ]

I am giving you the opportunity to escape execution, in exchange for leaving my students alone. You would be a fool not to take it.

[ alone, ozpin was bested. but with glynda, and james? they stand a solid chance. at the very least, if not more. ]

Speaking as one of the people helping to make this place safe, yes. I think the biggest danger to this place is the rampant description of the informational hologram.

Would you mind keeping your property destruction to things you actually own?

It remains to be seen.I haven't seen all that much evidence that this place is any more dangerous than any other.

[There are so many emotions swirling around in Blake's head right now, but fury is probably the one at the forefront right now. And she thought it was bad with Torchwick here. Mercury's just a punk, but this can be bad. Very bad.]

That's disconcerting. Or it would be if he had the self-preservation to care right now. You know how he kind of ran at Cinder before? He's doing that, at least having the foresight to activate his Aura.]

[Oh, he is one of those people. Well, that just means Cinder is going to keep an eye on him.]

We could be walking in the middle of murderers and monsters here and that's your biggest concern? [Interesting.]

Oh, sorry [she's not sorry at all, anyone can hear it.] I'll keep that in mind next time.

[Next time her target will be a person, so everyone can think back to this line when that happens.]

Well, I wasn't lying there, was I? [It's not going to be safe with Cinder around.] Did she? I guess I avoided that and woke up here instead, in the same way that we're all suddenly brought here of course.

Only a few days. But I've lived in a dangerous place before. Though, I guess it's more accurate to say a dangerous world. There's an atmosphere that settles over that kind of environment and a way people carry themselves that is not present here. People here are too carefree.

Finally someone, who agrees.

[That hologram was a way to express frustration over her plans back home being ruined again. ...But she's not going to tell that.]

I guess they can be glad it's just a hologram considering how often people destroy it.

[Kids these days, they think they're so ready for anything that their destiny throws at them... Fine. If he's so thrilled to see how far he'll go, Cinder might as well use this as another chance to let out some frustration over Ruby ruining the day back home again.

Well, at least he has some sense this time. Maybe he has some chances to survive some hits even though that glow around Cinder's eyes is seriously a bad thing for him. Worse, she's shooting a big stream of fire at him.]

For now, maybe. It just means I'll have to get busy to outnumber you.

Well, one of your students is apparently thrilled to meet me. [Jaune.] Perhaps he wants to experience his destiny too. [And then there's also the cat girl.] And I'm not making deals with you, so forget it.

[But it's not like she's making the first attack on Jaune's case either, so hey it's almost like she was going to leave them alone for now. Really, she needs to make her numbers higher or at least even -- or then make their numbers or quality lower. She's not stupid, though she also has no idea how many of them are here but she'll find out, one way or another.]

[He might not be on Pyrrha's level, but he uses his shield to block most of the fire, darting out of the way. Cinder had stolen this power because of him. He would take it back.

Maybe. Hopefully. He isn't really in the right mindset to doubt himself. If he could just get close enough...

He starts running closer to her and eventually just screams, hoping to use his shield to ram right into her.]
