I ❖ ARTE【Action/Video】
[My my…. The Bay has been pretty busy these past few days. And just when it was starting to quiet back down, anyone near the Bay will probably hear a loud crash coming from that direction and maybe a few more sounds that clearly show that someone isn’t pleased with waking up in a weird coffin like pod thing.
If you’re close enough to hear it or even to check it out, you might notice a woman with long wavy blonde hair climbing out of the pod she woke up in. Looking around, she seemed pretty…. confused and irritated. Looking off to her left, she may have looked like she had just been looking around until...]
Something is amiss. Do you recognize this place, Undine?
[Was she….. talking to herself? Just what was she thinking?]
Hm… I see… Well, I can’t exactly stick around. We’re going.
[Something was off. It was the first thing he noticed. He couldn’t recall falling asleep, and even if he had, no amount of booze could make it this restful. That was when he registered the sounds around him. Instead of the normal busy hum of the inns he liked staying at, there was water. Instantly, he snapped up, glad no one was around to notice the panic in his eyes. He was all too happy to leave the pod. Instead of a form of shelter, it just reminded him of a coffin.
He was definitely awake now as he took in his surroundings.
He didn’t recognize his surroundings.
Are you fucking kidding right now.]
What the hell is going on?!
[It was said mostly to himself. His first thought was, someone had brought him here. He only takes the items he had with him in the pod out of habit, before he looks around in more detail. First, find a way out. Then, figure out everything else from there.
He didn’t expect to see the one person who he had betrayed multiple times, and who had decided to betray him and everyone else in the worst way possible. Actually, he thought this was some kind of fucked up dream at first. His conscience trying to make him feel bad.]
Milla?
[Milla could hardly say that she had “betrayed” them by choosing to do what she did. It was for the good of not only Rieze Maxia and Elympios… Or so she believed. Of course she’d miss seeing everyone as her physical form, but she had faith that they’d all manage without her. Everyone had their own demons to face and their own goals. She would support them from where she, the Four Great Spirits, and Muzét watched after everyone.
Still, she had been caught up in talking to the Four about this place, so she didn’t notice Alvin at first. And then she heard him call out her name. Turning to see who spoke to her, she looked surprised to see him for a moment before returning to her previous expression.]
Alvin? You’ve been taken here too, huh?
[Looking around again, she was clearly miffed by the idea of being taken somewhere like this. And then she glanced to her right as if someone had spoken to her.]
Hmm…. That is a possibility… But who would be powerful enough to get the upper hand on Maxwell and the Four Great Spirits? [There was a pause as she voiced her opinion on the circumstance.] Could it be another Spyrix like the Lance? I would have noticed such a presence though...
[He knows she didn’t betray them. He’s just hurt, is all. He’s used to hiding information from others, not the other way around. And Jude…
The kid has it all more together than he ever is. That doesn’t mean he doesn’t feel bad for him though.]
Can’t say I know where “here” is.
[It’s easy to distance himself from this, to pretend that nothing is wrong. The moment he stops doing that is the moment things stop making sense. He takes the box out of his pocket, finally opening it in hopes for answers. There’s a necklace--]
If it’s a Spyrix, they have a weird way of welcoming us. This necklace would look better on you, Milla. It would really bring out your-- [Oh no he is not going to say bazongas like Elize’s little demon toy. Sorry, friend.] eyes.
[There’s also a pamphlet. Yay, it’s the vacation he never asked for! He reads the title.]
This place is called Genessia. [Okay, so that’s just more confusing than enlightening. He starts to read the pamphlet, but the further he reads, the harder it is for him to conceal just how frustrating this whole thing is.] ...I don’t think this is a Spyrix.
[While the others were just waking up and becoming acquainted with one another, Ludger had already read and looked at many of the different pamphlets and bits of information. He was surprised to say the least, especially since… well… the last thing he could recall meant he shouldn’t even be in a place like this. This couldn’t be another Fractured Dimension, this wasn’t the Prime Dimension either… so this was just another world entirely? It was crazy, but he had already accepted it. He had heard and seen crazier worlds after all.
Just when Ludger put away the goodies he had gathered, he heard some voices far off. He knew those voices anywhere, they were the companions that he had traveled with for so long. Ludger ran over to where he heard the voices, and then stopped immediately when he saw them. Their attire…. it was like a fractured version of themselves, like they weren’t from the same time period as him. Would they even remember him….? Time to find out.
Ludger stepped closer to them now, he only slowed in order to bring a hand up to scratch at the back of his head.]
Um…. are you guys…. new here too? [Time to start out with a rather mundane question, just to see if they even recognized him.]
-----------
[When the feed turns on, the first to be seen is a silver-haired man. He nods once he has the device working, then puts it down in order for his other companions to be seen as well. Joining him is a woman with long, wavy hair, and a man with a rather stylish coat. Ludger is standing between the two of them, his arms crossed as he exchanges glances with them before speaking up.]
We have some questions for everyone out there. Just the basics, mostly, but we were wondering about certain jobs, and food- [That’s when the woman seemed to poke her head in.] Yes please! I’m starving over here! [Milla… You don’t need to eat anymore. Why this?]
...Right. So I- [Ludger tried to start again, but was interrupted once more.]
Hey, Ludger, why don’t you let me make an introduction? The name’s Alvin, and I’m a mercenary. Don’t let the title discourage you. Mercenary business isn’t always pretty work, but that’s why there are people like me to do the job for you.. [Smiles his most amicable smile. You need money to eat food Milla.] Oh right… I suppose money is necessary for food…
[Ludger groans at the two, since they were interrupting him. He tries once again.]
Ah. I guess I did forget introductions. I’m Ludger, and this here is Milla. Like I was saying before…. I’m looking for a restaurant that will take me, and also a place for mercenary work. And…. [As for Milla… well….] ….just those two things, for now.
Ludger…. Fooood [Milla’s stomach is complaining.] Let me see that.
[After a moment, you’ll see a close up of the woman. Milla, this isn’t that hard to work…]
Hey! Somebody has to have a job for us to do and a good place to eat. [..... Is this working.] Hello?!
[And suddenly the feed cut off. Good job, Milla. +A on technology. You earned a “You Tried” sticker.]
[OOC: The action is mostly the three of them, but everyone is open to comment on the video feed itself. Let us know if you have anyone you’d like to tag directly, otherwise we will probably threadjack as needed.
Also, for post reference, Milla is this color. Alvin’s dialogue will be this color. And last but not least, Ludger is this color! :D]

Action;
[Sorry, Ludger. There's no, "Hey buddy. How have you been?!" or "It's so good to see you again" from Milla. From her standpoint, Ludger was just another random person. But he seemed to wake up around the same time that they did, so it wouldn't hurt to talk to him.]
Action;
I'm Alvin, and my traveling companion here's name is Milla. [He's just. Going to pretend nothing is wrong now. Putting each of you shorties under one arm.] I guess we're all stuck in the same boat.
Action;
feeling alvin's arm around his shoulder was familiar, yet it was distant at the same time. ludger looked away from him, thinking to himself for a beat, before turning back.]
....Yeah, guess so. [wow this is going to be really weird.] I'm Ludger. Have you guys had a chance to read the info about this place? [might as well start out with small talk, then work up to telling them about how he actually knows them very well.]

video;
Elize? So they've taken you here as well.... [She's not sure if that sits well with her, but it was nice to see Elize, even if it was in these conditions.] We're at the Spyrix looking monitor. And where are you? How long have you been here?
