Hello everyone! My name is Yui Kusanagi for those who don't know me. I just wanted to talk to everyone today about potentially learning self-defense or other combat methods.

A large number of people here have superpowers or special abilities, but for those who don't at least learning a way to defend yourself in emergencies is important! Those of you with abilities may be able to enhance your training by learning new styles or methods. It's also good for learning discipline, staying fit, and as a method of stress-relief. Sand Gym is a great place to go and it doesn't have any membership fees, only the cost of daily or monthly passes.

I recently joined as an Iaido Instructor at Sand Gym for anyone who would like to learn that, but we also have Judo and a couple of other practices as well. I'd encourage anyone interested to look into it! Please consider Sand Gym today!

Also.. do parks normally pop up around the shrine?

[Ike is already a master of his own style of swordsmanship, so he's not interested in lessons. There is, however, one thing he is interested in.]

I have a question. Do you offer matches for those who don't need instruction but are looking to spar?

Ah.. I don't typically, but if you'd like I wouldn't mind for practice. It's always good to try against people at your level... well, or hire. I'm only in high school back home, so you might be better than I am. What style of sword do you use?

[Ike is only nebulously familiar with the concept of school. He was home-schooled, since in Tellius, schools were reserved for children of the wealthy and the clergy. So he's really not sure what Yui means by "high school." Whatever, she doesn't sound much younger than he is, at least.]

It...doesn't actually have a name, as far as I'm aware. I don't know where it first came from. But I can promise you that I'm a master of it.

How much are the monthly passes? I'm only familiar with what techniques I learned in the military, so I'd like to add extra training on top of that.

It's about 80 red bills for a monthly pass. Are you interested in judo or iaido? Both?

It is what you make of it.. I haven't been teaching for long, just working with one student, but I'm ready for more. I've been practicing since I was very young though, and haven't missed a single day despite traveling multiple worlds.
