[ludger has a question! he's in between jobs right now and is certainly looking for more. showing off his skills would be a sure fire way of hearing about jobs, right? right. he gives a little wave to the camera before continuing.]

Hey. So-... I had a position as a chef back home, and I'm looking to do the same here. Would anyone have me? I guess my preferences would be in the evening or at night- my days are kind of filled up already. [with his other job arrangements.]

I can prove it to anyone, too. Just let me use your kitchen for a bit and I'll show off what I can do.

C'mon, Ludger, I don't want to public stealing you away. Besides, you don't really expect me to cook for Milla of all people.

I'll still make food for you all- you guys may just need to heat it up when I'm gone.

Seriously, Ludger, you've got two other people who can work. Unless you're trying to start up a business and need the income, you don't need to work two shifts a day.

[BUT-] Maybe I can just do some things part-time then.

I already have a job lined up. [He's lying through his teeth.] And there are some faster ways to make money. If you're going to do something part-time, it might as well be something that interests you. All I'm saying is, you don't have a time limit.

Cooking does interest me- I just like doing it. [he sighs a bit.] I'm just used to having to gather a lot of money.

It wasn't anything like that. We were saved, me and..... [friend? partner? daughter-?] ...someone special to me. Turns out, this company wanted 20 million in return for helping us to recover.

You can try to be an assistant chef for Ryo and I if he agrees, but if you can't keep up you'll be out of the kitchen faster than you can taste defeat.

Oh. Just how intense are you guys? [ludger likes to take things slow.]

We have competitions every week to see who gets to be head chef, mistakes aren't tolerated, and we expect every dish to be the best when it comes out. Creativity and customer satisfaction are also required.

Y-you're serious?! That sounds so stressful!

Really? It might not be right for you if you can't handle at least that much.. We're reservation-only so we're only open in the evenings, but we've typically reserved a minimum of a couple of weeks in advance. It helps control supply costs and allows us to give truly special experiences to everyone.

[wow. he just groans. but he can do whatever, he just thinks this is a bit ridiculous.]

That sounds amazing. I don't have a job for you because I'm honestly looking for a job too but I don't have any talents like that.

[She can not burn stuff.]

I'm sure you have some. If not- there's always time to practice.

Well... I'd have to make up my mind first.

[She laughs a little awkwardly.]

Cooking? Cleaning? Art? Business? Fighting? Any one of those interest you?

[Airy laughs softly.]

Those seem vague. I do like cooking but... then I'd smell like food all day. I like art but that isn't really something you can make money on.

I figured we could start out vague then branch out from there.

Okay.... would baking be okay?

Baking? I guess so... then I would smell like flour.

[Which is okay, flour smells nice.]

I'm not a very good baker- but we could always try and learn together. That could land you a job, right?

Is cooking not like baking?

[She supposes it could land her a job however her question suggests that she doesn't even know the basics.]

Little bit different. Baking requires more of a delicate touch- and everything needs to go in order.

I guess I just prefer cooking.

That sounds more difficult.

[Airy spoke with a light laugh.]

Okay, what's your favorite thing to cook?

I've been told that my tomato soup is really good, so probably that.

So you make grilled cheese with it because if you do I'm totally there.

[Now she's hungry.]

..Wait really?

[What deals is she making and not realizing it because this happens to her a lot.]

I mean- yeah I could probably do it, it's not that big of a deal.

[is it really that much of a surprise?!]

Ah, yeah. I mean... you're just really nice and I was told that people aren't always really nice... and then that I was to trusting but.... everyone seems really nice.

[She stumbles awkwardly through the words before giving a short laugh.]

I think I confused myself.

[hm... sounds like she's in a rather strange situation. ludger was easy to get along with, and he was rather helping- but he wasn't as trusting as she might be.]

Here's how I look at it- there will always be people out there you can and can't trust. I think you just need to figure out those types of people. Um- and I'm someone you can trust, don't worry.

We'll just have to find a time when we can do this.
