[Action] A Very Happy Birthday + The Girls Festival

[A text goes out to the rest of Genessia indicating that the Girls Day Festival will commence on the 2nd of March rather than the 3rd, and the festival itself will be held on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th. The location, as stated in the text, is still in the Archangel City sub archway found in Fayren.

Anyone coming into the city will be greeted by knights and clothiers handing out free complimentary coats due to the country being always cold. Sign posts along the roads will guide tourists to the city plaza where the festival itself is being held. Alongside patriotic banners of the snowy kingdom's flag were bright-colored decorations.]

DAY 1

In the city plaza, there were numerous women of all ages enjoying some leisurely time off from their jobs. All around the plaza were vendors all sorts of clothing from all corners of the world, many kinds of food and sweets, collectible knick-knacks from paper weights to dolls, books and many other things. There were also quite a few stalls for people to get crash-course lessons in cooking, doll making, candy making and pet caring. While rare, some of the tougher women can get a chance to spare with the capital's knights.

There were some forms of entertainment as well, for a stage was constructed in one corner of the plaza where musicians from all over the kingdom, and some international bards, have come to join the festivities. Anyone needing to rest can sit near the bards and enjoy a snack.

Finally, a higher stage was built around the fountain in the middle of the plaza where Princess Anastasia Leonheart, and her mother, Queen Melody can watch over the festival and speak with the common people.]

DAY 2

[The festival slows down slightly as many people gather around the castle, home to the royal family, in honor of Princess Anastasia's 13th birthday. Common people aren't permitted inside of the castle, but residents of Genessia do have permission to seek out Anastasia on the Social Floor of the castle. There, the young Princess Anastasia humbly awaits on a throne as a pile of gifts on one corner of the table steadily gets bigger as maids arrive to add on to it. The smell of something sweet baking can be smelled on this floor.]

DAY 3

[The festival begins to wind down as all vendors, excluding food vendors, pack up and leave as the musical stages are expanded to accommodate larger performances. As the day settles to dusk, and light fills the plaza, bands continue to play as the able and willing women gather to dance the night away, all though not recommended.]

"I'll be right back, then."

[Anastasia made her way back to the castle, going through the doorway and soon coming back out with a small bowl of snacks for the rabbits. She would return to Sakura's side as the other bunnies began watch the younger princess intently.]

"These are their favorites. We always keep a supply for them."

[Sakura is still dancing with the bunny when Anastasia returns. She smiled brightly and then drops the creature to reach for the treats.]

Do we have to make sure they share?

"For smaller treats like these, we do. They tend to get greedy and try to take more. They won't take from each other."

[Anastasia takes a handful of the treats. As some bunnies begin to line up, she gently drops three treats per bunny, but leaves Sakura to do the same for the late comers.]

[Sakura smiles and then does as her friend does.]

They're really well behaved.

"You should see the ones un the market district. They will work in groups to try to steal from vendors."

[As Anastasia giggled, a maid entered the garden and approached, informing the younger princess that it was time for the rest of her party.]

"Aww, well, let's go, Sakura. We can play with the bunnies again later."

[Sakura nods and then raises from her position in front of the bunnies. She smiles at them and then follows close behind her friend.]

[Anastasia would lead the way to a beautifull hall where dances are held. On one end is Anastasia's mother and father, thw current King and Queen.

The young princess would leave her friend with the people as she takes her spot in the middle of the room, surrounded by the people.

Then, the King speaks.]

"My brothers and sisters. We gather here today to celebrate the birth and life of my beloved daughter, your crown princess, Anastasia Kitty Leonheart. As per tradition, a partner may approach Anastasia, and lead her in dance to honor the 13th year of her blessing our lives. Who would approach?"

[When her father finished, Anastasia would look to Sakura in the gathering.]

[Sakura steps forward with a smile and then bows politely at the king and queen. Her brilliant emerald eyes then move towards Anastasia, her hand held out for the young princess to take.]

It would be my honor.

[There were faint sounds of boys sighing in defeat. None were quick enough. Once more, King Akili speaks.]

"An unexpected first. While it is usually a male who desires the honor, the final choice falls to Anastasia."

[Anastasia would give Sakura her hand, smiling.]

"And I give Sakura the honor."

[Sakura grins at her friend and then bows again.]

Thank you.

[She leads Anastasia out towards the center of the floor and just like last time she's able to lead the young princess through the steps. The pair move like glittering dolls, easily and beautifully across the dance floor.]

[So many envious boys around, quite a few we talking about Sakura, full of curosity.

Though Anastasia was having a good time, her father only gave them roughly 15 minutes so as to not tire out the young princess. King Akili speaks one final time as a father.]

"As the sun sets, I hereby conclude a most memorial occasion. We were happy to host all of you, and we thank you for your attendance."

[As people begin to leave, Anastasia's parents approached her and Sakura. Akili was in full King mode now. Anastasias spoke first.]

"Father, this is Sakura. I've told you about her."

[Sakura steps next to Anastasia, her lips curled into a bright happy smile that could rival that of the sun. She fans her skirts to either side, her head bowed slightly as she addresses Anastasia's father.]

I am Princess Sakura. It's an honor to meet you.

[She smiles up at him.]

[The king stroked his thin beard and nodded.]

"A pleasure, Sakura. You've been a positive influence on my daughter. When she told me she befriended a girl from a desert kingdom, I thought she meant the Firland Empire. But you don't have any Firlandic characteristics.

So, Sakura, tell us about yourself."

[Anastasia smiled at Sakura encouragingly. ]

[There isn't much that Sakura can tell with her memories broken and scattered like they were but she's determined to make a good first impression.]

I'm fifteen years old. My home is called Clow Country. We mostly work to excavate ruins in the desert from time before us but it's a beautiful country. With so many amazing people. [She loves it very much.]

My older brother is currently running in place of my father.

[Queen Melody sounded quite interested as Sakura detailed her home]

"Ruins? How timeless. Ruins from our ancient past all eroded away. Discovery is such an exciting feeling.

As Anastasia already has, Akili and I would welcome the Clow as friends and allies. It would need to be formalized with a meeting with your brother, Sakura. If possible."

[Sakura looks nervous for a moment before nodding her head.]

I would like that as well but... [She doesn't want to mention anything about her father but her brother isn't here.]

I'm afraid that my brother isn't able to arrive here.

[He's not in Genessia and after what happened she doesn't think it's wise to open a portal to her world.]

[The monarchs glanced at each other, then Melody spoke.]

"That's unfortunate. But you and Anastasia are very dear friends, are you not? It's those feelings that matter."

[Then, King Akili speaks.]

"Do you need an escort home, Sakura? Or would you like to stay with us for a while?"

[Sakura's lips curl in a warm smile.]

I plan to stay a little longer and I'll be safe getting home. Thank you for your concern.

[She bows politely before flashing a smile at Anastasia.]

[Anastasia smiles back, happy to know Sakura will stay awhile longer.]

"Sakura? Why not stay the night? The maids can style our hair and try something new."

[Sakura's always kept her hair short so she isn't sure what they can do but it sounds like fun.]

Sure! Let me go tell Fai-san.

"Please do! There's also one more person I want you to meet."

[She only hopes he hasn't left yet. He has a life outside of the castle.
Since it was the evening, the King and Queen were ready to retire. Melody briefly turned to the girls.]

"Be good, you two. Don't distract the guards, don't bother the maids, and don't raid the kitchen. Good night."

[Anastasia curtsied in response as her parents make their way to their own room.]

"Yes, Mother. Good night."

[Sakura mirror's her friends actions before turning towards Anastasia.]
