Out and about
Who: Asui Tsuyu and you
What: Tsuyu explores her new home
Where: Every gosh darn city in this game
When: Shortly after her arrival to the RP
Warnings: None as of yet.
Tsuyu explored Genessia and all it's surrounding suburbs. If she was going to be stuck here (and that seemed to be the case), she might as well be stuck in a place she knew.
In Nova city, she got confused for an alien. She looked human enough, but something about her eyes and her over all body proportions was slightly off. The combination of her slightly hunched posture, pale skin, and bulging eyes made it impossible to look at her and not think of a giant frog. Also there was something seriously weird about her tongue, which frequently ended up poking out of the corner of her mouth when she wasn't paying attention and was FAR longer than any normal person's had any right to be. But despite the flying cars and strange people, this weirdly reminded her of home. Perhaps BECAUSE of the strange people. She had never met an alien, but some people's quirks back home made them look even stranger.
In Genessia, she bought some clothes. All she had on her was her superhero suit, which was basically a sturdy but skintight, black and green wetsuit, and that was hardly appropriate for a casual, day-to-day look. When she moved on, she was wearing a button up shirt, knee length skirt, cheap tennis shoes, and a backpack containing her super suit and a few miscellaneous extras.
In Attleton, she was mainly bored. She had grown up in a sleepy suburb like this, and moving to the city for school had been much much better. She did not dawdle long here.
In Everglade, she stood out merely from not looking as nervous as the locals. The damp appealed to her, and she wasn't terribly afraid of these so called ghouls and ghosts everyone was nervous about. She eventually ended up in The Rabbit's Foot, where she looked extremely dubiously at the sacred salt and holy water. Giving how weird things had been since she had arrived here, she was prepared to accept that maybe there were such a thing as vampires, but it still was hard to treat them as a real and credible threat. On top of that she was pretty confident in her ability to at least escape from any serious threat. She politely but firmly declined to buy anything and left just as the sun was getting low.
In Fayren she seriously looked like like a lost and confused tourist. This whole town was like a giant renaissance fair! She half expected that she would turn a corner and catch people not being in character but it all looked like this was actually how they lived here. Eventually, she had to see about getting a meal, and the Drunken Monkey had delicious smells coming out of it.
Armed with some chewy flatbread, a bowl of soup, and a mug of something that was PROBABLY mildly alcoholic, Tsuyu felt much more able to deal with the world. As she ate, she went over the information in the pamphlet in more detail, then counted out her initial stipend. That would probably last her a bit over a week. Maybe a bit past two weeks if she was careful, but any longer and she'd have to figure out how to make some money on her own. That meant getting a job. More pressing was probably finding a place to live, unless she wanted to live in a hotel for a week. Maybe she could find someone who wasn't super creepy to be her roommate...
As the long day ends, Tsuyu can be found lost in thought and munching on her meal in a relatively secluded corner of the Drunken Monkey.
