Cat's Eye Cafe: couldn't resist

[Sakura's attention has been split since Fai became Guardian which meant sometimes she helps out at his office and sometimes she's at the Cat's Eye performing her usual tasks there. This particular task involves carrying a large bag of flour from the pantry to the large container they used on a day to day basis.]

Sousuke? I brought the flour.

[She slowly walks into the kitchen careful not to drop the large bag. A misplaced measuring cup lays in her path and with one misstep her leg goes sliding behind her and the bag goes flying towards Sousuke.

All around them white powder sprinkles down and settles on the floor and counter tops.]

[overexertion]

[It's a good thing Sousuke wasn't actually doing anything at the moment, because that might have spelled out a disaster. Instead only Sousuke can be found from under the flour bag once it lands (as he was trying to catch it, but it didn't go as planned), coughing because of the flour in the air.]

Who in their right mind left something on the floor...?

[spitfireprincess]

[Sakura looks close to tears as her usually bright green eyes look over the flour covered floor.]

I don't know.

[She has no idea where to even start.]

[overexertion]

...

[After getting freed of the flour bag and placing it somewhere where it's not on the way, Sousuke reaches out to touch Sakura's shoulder and smiles reassuringly.]

Hey, it wasn't your fault.

[spitfireprincess]

[Sakura nods and then pushes back the tears that threatened to spill down her cheeks. She's trying her best but more and more often she's felt useless. She really wants to help Fai but doesn't know how.]

I know. I'll get the broom.

[With that she steps away, letting his hand drop from her shoulder. When she returns from the closest she has a long broom and then a small brush and a dustpan. She places the small brush and dustpan to the side and begins to carefully sweep up the flour. She doesn't want to kick it into the air and have it settle somewhere else.]

[overexertion]

[Sousuke will carefully focus on getting the flour out of the surrounding surfaces with the cleaning tools they have at ready in the kitchen.

Well, trying to. Some of the flour makes him sneeze and the flour he was cleaning flies onto the next surface. Just when he had gotten that place cleaned.]

[spitfireprincess]

[Sakura feels as if the same amount of flour she pours into the trash is also scattering in all directions. She feels awful about it and as she works flour gest everywhere including somehow getting in her hair.]

I’m still really sorry Sousuke.

[She looks up as she finishes getting the big spots on the floor.]

Do you need help?

[overexertion]

I'll manage... unless you want to double check. I'm not most confident in my cleaning abilities.

[spitfireprincess]

[Sakura smiles sheepishly.]

I suppose you can't work here unless you are.

[overexertion]

That's true... I'd be a hazard in the kitchen.

[spitfireprincess]

[Much like stray measuring cups.]

Thank you for helping me clean up.

[She pauses as if unsure.]

Are you find everything here okay?

[overexertion]

Yeah. The kitchen is very nice and it gives me a lot to work with... I just need to hone my skills to be even a better cook.

[spitfireprincess]

I am sure you can.

[Fai's been teaching Sakura since they left the wish shop. She hadn't baked before.]

[overexertion]

Yeah. And at least I have a house full of people I can experiment for.

[He grins.]

[spitfireprincess]

[Sakura laughs brightly.]

That's true.

[She only lives with Fai which is why she gets those she works with to taste her cakes.]

[overexertion]

You know, at least one of them would most likely love to test your baking tests. Well, all of them, but Nagisa the most.

[spitfireprincess]

If I think of something new I'll send them home with you. You can tell me what everyone thinks.

[She likes this plan.]

For now we better get back to work.
