[Action]
As consciousness slowly returned to Akihiko, he moved his arms to stretch only to become acutely aware of the pod he was in. The fatigue of fighting in the TV World coupled with jet lag had caused him to doze off on the limo ride back to Iwatodai, but that was all instantly forgotten as he pushed the lid of the pod off and hopped out, assuming a fighting stance as he glanced around. The faint glow of the hologram and the message it offered on loop seemed to be the only presence in the bay. "Mitsuru, Aigis, Labrys, Fuuka, any of you here?"
“Akihiko?” If he cared to look behind him, he’d see her a few feet away, rapier in hand and a scowl on her face.
He glanced behind him to make sure Mitsuru was okay, slowly lowering his guard as it seemed there weren’t any hostile presences. Mitsuru was here, but Aigis, Labrys, and Fuuka were nowhere to be found. That in itself was troubling.“You okay?”
“I’m fine, but where are Yamagishi and the others?” Mitsuru looked around, slowly lowering her own weapon and flicking her long hair over her shoulder to get it out of her face. “This isn’t the car and those,” she pointed to the pods they’d woken up in, “look like something from that movie Iori used to watch back at the dorms.”
“No idea. This sure doesn’t feel like the TV World or Tartarus… but I think it’s clear that wherever we are, we’re nowhere near Iwatodai or Inaba.” It was then that the hologram mentioned ‘Genessia’ and caught Akihiko’s attention. “Genessia? Never heard of it before… have you?”
She gave him a withering look before examining the pod a bit better, to find the box laying in the silk lining innocently. “No, I haven’t. Akihiko, check your pod for me. What do you see inside?”
Akihiko blinked for a second. He hadn’t thought to check the pod itself, but when he returned to it, he did indeed find something. “Huh… where’d this box come from? It’s got what looks like some money, a necklace and a fancy phone or something in it. Did you have one too?”
Mitsuru sighed a little. She should have known he’d actually open the box before answering her. “I can only assume so. Since you’re fine, I can only guess that these are safe.” And that was such a lovely way of phrasing that she wasn’t sure and she was unhappy about the uncertainty of everything.
She poked the necklace with her sword and when nothing happened, she picked the gaudy thing up with long fingers. “Are we supposed to wear these?”
Akihiko shrugged and stuffed the necklace into one of the many pockets on his pants before responding. “Beats me. It sure suits you more than it would me.”
She shoved the jewelry into one of the pockets of her coat, along with the communicator and the money. “This is either a very vivid hallucinatory dream that we’re sharing or…” She shook her head again in disbelief. “Or we’re actually not anywhere we know. I’m not sure which thought is more pleasant at this point.”
Akihiko was silent for a moment, trying to process all this. “I suppose if it’s the latter we’ll just have to assume the others are alright for the time being. We should probably try and get some more information on this place though, if we really have been taken elsewhere.”
“Do you have your phone?” She pulled out her own small cellphone, checking it. No service. “Wherever we are, I suppose normal attempts of communication are out of the question.”
Akihiko pulled his own phone from another pocket, nodding to Mitsuru as he confirmed that he wasn’t getting any service either. “I guess there are those phone-like things that were in the boxes. Maybe we should try those.” He had barely finished his statement before pulling the communicator out and was fiddling with it in a manner not unlike a caveman.
Somewhere, Mitsuru was sure Yamagishi was crying out in pain with the way that Akihiko manhandled the foreign technology. She herself had taken out her own and was examining it, not unlike the level-headed businesswoman she was raised to be. “There’s a camera and screen for videos. It’s appears to be just like an oversized smartphone. Though, this is years ahead of anything at Kirijo Electronics.” She looked up at him and raised an eyebrow. “You’re going to break it if you keep at that.”
[Video]
[The feed clicks on with an awkward view of a short-haired blond man and a woman with long elegant red hair, completely in contrast to the man’s rugged looks.] “I’m not going to break it, I’m just trying to figure out how--oh, hey I think it’s recording.”
[He clears his throat before addressing it fully.]“My name is Akihiko Sanada, my friend and I were on our way back to Iwatodai in Japan before waking up here. Anybody know how to get there from here? Or how we got here?”
[The redhead makes sure that she can be seen on the screen as well.] Forgive him. My name is Mitsuru Kirijo, and any assistance would be very much appreciated.
[OOC: Red text is Mitsuru, blue is Akihiko.]

I am sorry to say, but there is no way to get back to where you were headed from here. How we got here is also... not something we can exactly explain, either. [She bowed her head slightly, feeling like it was best to get those out of the way first.]
However, I can try and answer other questions and if you need a place to stay while you get settled I have an Inn near the Bay.

Yukiko-san?
[Well, it was nice to know that there was at least one other familiar face around. He jerks his thumb over his shoulder at the hologram of Weiss.]
Is what this... thing is saying true?
video;
[Where are your manners, Akihiko? Were you raised in a barn?]
I suppose we can rule out shared fever dreams, Akihiko. Tell me, Amagi-san, how long have you been here?
video;
[The circumstances could have been better, she had to admit.]
I've been here a year and nearly four months.

{ Unhelpful Clow Reed is unhelpful, as usual. }
[ video ]
Yeah, I was afraid of that. Is there any way back? We've got work to do.
[And Akihiko hates sitting still.]
[ video ]
Then you expect us to believe what that hologram is repeating ad nauseum?
[ video ]
{ Clow just smiled wider as the other voice spoke up. }
It may be difficult to believe, but it is the truth.

Hey! Afternoon, you two. This is Troy Dantes speaking, I'm a deputy Guardian for one of the cities here. If you need immediate assistance, the Schnee Welcoming Company office nearby is your best bet. I know that hologram you probably saw seems like a load of bullshit trapping new people, but trust me it's legit.
[He knows what he said probably wouldn't help make them believe the hologram's message, but it's a start. He does intend on going to them for a more personal assistance and as a show of trust]
I'm in the city right now, I can drive by the Bay if that'll help matters?
[Video]
[Something about the way Troy spoke brought a nostalgic smirk to Aki's face.]
We appreciate the offer but for information, we'll probably be going to the Amagi inn nearby.
[He glances over at Mitsuru as if to confirm.] We know the owner.
[Video]
[He chuckles, glad that things worked out just fine for the two supermodels]
It's good to know people from the same world here, that'll definitely help ya two out a lot in getting adjusted. Ending up in different worlds is weird to many. My offer still stands though. Anything you two need, give me a ring.

One of the biggest differences in general that trip people up is that you can't die here. I wouldn't have believed that if I hadn't seen it for myself. And people you thought were gone might show up here.
video
[Akihiko's face darkens a bit. People can't die, and the dead might show up? Three people instantly spring to mind for Akihiko, all of whom he'd dearly love to see again, but he's not going to get his hopes up just yet.]
...That sounds nice, but it also sounds like it comes with its fair share of problems. Especially for the more violent type...
Re: video
I thought you should know. Rather than be taken by surprise.
What kind of world are you from?

It's nice to meet you both. I'm Levy Mcgarden. You've already heard from others but I'm happy to help if I can. We're currently stuck here but we're trying to find out more about this place.
...
It's a slow process.
[She's honest but she wants them to know that they aren't just sitting around and doing nothing about it.]
Video;
Nice to meet you too Mcgarden-san. Hate to say it but I'm not much good in looking into stuff like that. Wouldn't know where to start even.
Still, considering the work we have to do in Japan, I'll help however I can.

You're a fine investigator when you take a moment to stop obsessing over getting stronger. There is more to life than that.

I assume the others have told you that you're stuck here, right? Has anyone mentioned that time doesn't flow back home while you're here?
[Video]
[Mitsuru would undoubtedly appreciate that. Akihiko nods a bit.]
Yeah. A friend of ours mentioned that.
[He sighs a bit.]
[Video]
Yes, we've been made aware of that. It is convenient for our business back home at least. However, being here is inconvenient for us ourselves.

Once she listened in on their conversation with Yukiko, though? This got a whole lot more interesting. For now, Izanami replied to them as an androgynous human. She wanted to know exactly who these people were.]
You're a long way from home, I'm afraid.
[Video]
Yeah, this is nothing like Iwatodai, that's for sure.
Re: [Video]
[Have a chibi!reindeer talking and thinking? After a few moments he'll shake his head.]
I haven't heard of either one, sorry! But we probably aren't from the same world anyways unless the four emperors means something to you.
[Video]
...huh... talking meat...
[Sorry Chopper, it's been a while since Aki has had any protein...]
No, sorry. Never heard of anyone like that.
Re: [Video]
[GLAREPOWER2000! Huff.]
Go eat at a restaurant if you want meat.
