First Reel: Keep Calm and Tea On [Action] + [Video]
[Action]
[Having arrived in her SeeD uniform, Grell stares at everything around her in disbelief. At least she had the decency to not gape her mouth open as she clutches the box she found to her chest when she first woke up. The populace around her walked around her as she stood in the way of pedestrian traffic, but does she care? Of course not! They can go around!
And who was that pale girl in that…hologram? There are holograms, now??]
…this isn’t Balamb.
[understatement of the year…]
Video
[Luckily for her, learning how to use the communication device given to her is a breeze, so have a beautiful redhead gracing your screens, with her very English accent. She’s in a cafe at the moment, gathering her bearings. She doesn’t look entirely pleased at the situation at hand, but tea helps.]
Please tell me there is a reason I’ve been whisked away, again? [She picks up a tea cup and sips her beverage. Thank goodness she found a place where there was decent tea!] In this awful uniform, at that! [SIGHS and shifts in her seat. It's so ugly...]
Has anyone seen a sparkled, blue phoenix flittering around here? He’s my pet, and he simply can’t live without me. [There is a small smirk.] There isn’t a reward, but you’ll thank me for finding him for me. He’s a handful.
In the meantime… [The teacup is placed down, out of screenshot.] any friendly advice you may have for new arrivals would be greatly appreciated. I’ll be looking for work soon, preferably with computer technology, so if anyone is hiring~… [WINK] I’m also good at taking care of pesky problems, for the right price.
[She gives a light wave before cutting the feed.]

[Have a confused looking half-naked cape man appearing in frame.]
...sparkled blue phoenix? ...You're joking right?
If he heard you say that, he'd peck your eyes out! [Shakes her head in shame.] He's also vain.
I've seen some weird things over the years... [Like a bunch of high-school students shooting themselves in the head to summon gods and demons.] ...but that's a bit out there even for me.
I'm no kid, and I'm well aware that there are forces in the world that are invisible to the vast majority of people. But a blue phoenix? Seriously?
[Aki, you've seen someone put a gun to their head and summon the Greek God of Death to do battle...]
[Yeah, sure, no "kid".]
Just because there are things beyond what normal people can see doesn't mean anything is possible. That's like saying if we can put a man on the moon, we could put one on the sun.
So yes, I've seen some weird things in my time but I reserve the right to be skeptical of some things.

Will keep eye out for mystical blue feathers but I think unless you had him in your fairytale coffin that didn't have the decency to provide princely wake-up calls, he's probably not around. Sorry, red.
video;
[Yuck, Christmas sweaters... She definitely makes a face at how atrocious they are.] I'll consider myself lucky, then.
Honestly, if that is how world traveling works, you'd think we would be given a heads up! Although I'm certain my previous trip didn't have such stipulations, and certainly no fairytale coffin.

[ so not okay with any implications being whisked away twice comes with but let's pretend it's no big deal. la la la. ]
What did it have? Besides uniforms and being pet friendly.
video;
Great educational facilities sponsored by wealthy, anonymous donors. Not the best cafeteria food, but they try.

He rolls his eyes. ]
It's also not any place on Earth.
[ He doesn't know where Balamb is (it sounds like it might be located in or around his home country or something) but wherever it is... Well, whatever. ]
action
Lovely. I'm doing this all over again.
[How annoying.]
action
[ What did she mean? ]
action
[What else would she mean?!]
Although this world is quite advanced. [She glances back at where the hologram played. Something like that would have been useful back in Balamb.]
action
The other wasn't?
[ Was the entire place not advanced or was it just the part this redhead had been in? ]
action
[She looks down at the items given to her upon waking up.]
We barely had anything resembling telephones, let alone advanced capabilities to contact others outside our area.
[They barely had anything resembling the internet!]

No reason that we know of yet, hate to break it to you.
Can't say I've seen your pet, but I can give you some information about this place. Have you read the pamphlet?
Video
I've read it, but not everything can be covered in one simple pamphlet. [She picks up said document and simply looks it over briefly.] Or, perhaps, that was the intention.
[Some things were better learned through experience.]
Video
[She isn't much more pleased with their situation, but after the last pocket dimension Dairine got stuck in she's kinda gotten used to the annoyance. She shrugs.]
Maybe. It's not like we know who wrote it exactly.
Video
Why wouldn't you know who wrote it? [That's really strange.]
Video
[In fact Dairine is pretty sure it's connected to the person or persons who brought them here, considering the box and pamphlet seem to appear whenever the new arrivals do.]
Video
[Not that she thinks the information isn't true, but a lot of people are naive and will believe anything they're fed.]
