02: Wandering [ Open Action]
Who: Adela & OPEN
Where: Genessia or Nova City
When: March 13th, all day
Notes: Getting lost sucks, but it at least gives the opportunity to meet some interesting characters along the way.
Warnings: None for the moment.
A little backstory...
[ She couldn't stop thinking about it.
Adela sighed to herself as she stared at the ceiling early that morning. Normally she was up and at it almost as soon as she woke, but now... Ever since she had seen it for the first time, she wanted to know more. It wasn't something she'd experienced before, but if she had to guess at it... She'd probably say it was feeling rather inspired by it. She had to make something representing it. Originally, she had no idea what she'd do with herself on her day off. At last, however, she did figure something out.
She needed to see it again. And, in order to do that, she needed to find the man who showed the world that dragon. Seto Kaiba. With a small slab of iron in her pocket she began to head out, locking up her room and beginning to head north, into Genessia and towards Nova City. ]
Genessia, all times of the day
[ Searching for someone was probably foolish without a plan.
Adela found herself lost more than a few times, and although she did stop in nice places like the park (even if it was raining), or at a stall to get a drink and some food, it was still quite tiring and frustrating to try and find one person that most didn't even know by name. None of the locals were particularly helpful with the search, and she was starting to feel more and more disoriented.
More than once she ended up walking down the same streets, and she was beginning to wonder if she was just terrible with directions or if it really was because it was unfamiliar. She didn't have any problems with Fayren once she got used to the town area, after all.
Perhaps she was sitting on a bench in the park in Genessia, keeping relatively dry thanks to an umbrella purchased earlier. Maybe she was drinking some strange beverage while she walked and looked around. There was a lot to see, so of course it was overwhelming, and she had to wonder if she would ever have any luck with finding that person and seeing that dragon again. It was the whole reason for her outing, so she had to keep going. ]
Nova City, evening
[ It was getting dark...
Adela didn't bring much money with her for the outing, having expected it to end far sooner than it had. Still, it was getting late and the day was almost over, and she still had no luck in finding the man. On top of being tired with her fruitless search, she was starting to get really hungry as well. It really was foolish of her to just assume she could without any kind of lead, and maybe she should have just tried to contact him over the communicator... Why hadn't such a thought occurred to her sooner? Because she wasn't used to it, perhaps?
It might have been time to give up for the time being, if she really couldn't find him. She had a long walk to get back to Fayren, so she should have been staring to head back shouldn't she... That, and being out and about the cities at night wasn't exactly an idea she was comfortable with, even if Fayren at night would likely be the most dangerous. Best to hurry back to her temporary home.
She was tired, done with her search for that day as she finally got to her aching feet and began to head where she thought was south once more. At least, for the moment, the city was still well lit. ]
